Cafe Two

just a note that from today (March 25) to April 6 2015 Café Two closes at four pm. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

i ordered thru Eat24… they were here within 20 min (or less). the soup of the day tastes like something my gram’s made (amazing)… and my caprese sandwich just as tasty! this is my new take out spot! THANKS CAFE TWO!
did i mention the prices are very reasonable? they are!

Gave this a shot on a pirq deal, but considering the portions at non pirqed prices, there isn’t anything special about them. Service was friendly, though one of our party waited an odd amount of time longer for his food, and had to remind them that he had indeed ordered the soup de jour after getting his sandwich.
The clam chowder wasn’t bad, a bit salty, but they’ve offended the soup in no great way. The sandwich however had its bread a bit over toasted and simply had nothing impressive about the ingredients. I simply did not like it.

It’s always the people that make anything amazing. SO happy to have stopped in here and will most certainly do it again. My phone died and I just needed somewhere to sit for a few while juicing it as I’m fucking lost around here without internet on my phone, not knowing the metro or area like the back of my hand (or close). I’ve been dying for some decent conversation and meeting someone else from Chicago and. .. the awesome woman behind the counter with her perky attitude and kindness was! Thank goodness. I wish everyone in Seattle went and lived in Chicago for a while — this would be such a nicer place to be. I’ll leave it at that. Wifi didn’t work right for some reason, but other barista was nice enough to give me the password to one of the other signals. Had the outlets I needed, though had the only ones I found in the place. But for me, this is a place to return for sure. Yay for a positive Unilocal review in this city! So hard to give those out.

Their delivery is fast — I mean, really fast. How did you get here in 20 minutes, Café Two? Did you finally complete your teleportation machine? Do you have elves making your sandwiches at elf-​speed?
Whatever the trick is — I’m a fan of it. The salad (with mandarin oranges, walnuts and goat cheese) was so good I considered becoming a vegetarian. Then I ate your delightful turkey sandwich and realized I could never do without the sweet satisfaction of poultry on bread.

Thanks, Café Two! I’ll be ordering again soon and hope to visit your physical location asap! You’re strides ahead of the other lunch choices for delivery around (unless you’ve got a hankerin’ for Thai or Chinese) — so I’m thankful that you’re here!

I come here on a daily basis because it’s the closest caffeine to my office and I love the people here.
