The coffee they serve is really good but there is not a big selection of different flavors like the bigger chain coffee places. The food they serve is definitely above average! Also, there is not a lot of seating available but if you do manage to find a spot they offer free wifi, you just have to ask an employee for the password.

For a commuter café in a ferry terminal, this is as good as it gets! The coffee is excellent, the baristas are warm and friendly, and you get a Seattle Times free with purchase of an espresso drink! Can’t beat that deal. I always stop here when taking the Seattle ferry. Love it!

Ninety percent of the times I go to Seattle I walk on the ferry and if the temperature is above 70 and I have to wait, I come here and grab a milkshake. They use real ice cream and the shakes are thick and yummy. Always a perfect way to cool off whether I’m coming or going.

I went to the stand on street level. Coffee was fine, but the bagel was black and she over charged me for cream cheese. This has become sort of a trend there, really dicey service and they seem to get confused by anything except a 12oz drip.

We were waiting for the next ferry over when I decided I needed a coffee to help with the wait. Being a coffee shop in a commuter terminal, I did set my expectations accordingly. And the toffee blended iced coffee I got definitely came from a mix. But the coffee was strong and I appreciated the friendly service I got from the cashier. I’ll probably drop on in again on our way across the sound!

This is a good place to go for a treat or drink while waiting for the ferry. The coffee is average but the smoothies are awesome! Average prices too but a nice little coffee shop in the terminal.

Located inside the Ferry Terminal we only had mocha here. The mocha was the perfect blend of coffee and chocolate not too sweet and not too strong. A medium was about $ 4.50. The shop also sells some funny t shirts, sammies and pastries.

I’ve been here many, many times. The service is always very friendly, and the espresso is never weak. The courteous service is what pushes this into 4 territory for me. Its nice to come and see a familiar face and get some reliably tasty brew for the ferry ride home/to work. This is for the location inside the terminal. I’ve only been to the«shack» outside in the lot a couple times, but its definitely not on the same level. Heads up, I believe there is a 5 dollar minimum on CC transactions. I usually try to bring cash or just throw in a pack of gum if I don’t have it.

This coffee stand(outside the terminal) isn’t open at 7:45AM… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a coffee shop closed at this hour.

This review is for the location inside the ferry terminal. After spending all day walking around Seattle, in the rain, and missing our ferry home, we decided to grab a cup of coffee. The owner? Barista was super friendly. Order two lattes and grabbed a seat at the counter overlooking the ferry. Barista brought our drinks to us, with a complimentary copy of Seattle Times. Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed hanging out here until our ferry arrived.

Love this place! I always leave a few extra minutes so I can enjoy my ferry ride with a delicious cup of local coffee! Caffe Appassionato roasts such delicious coffee it’s my new favorite!

They lost their best barista? When I was going there regularly, the AM barista WORKED. She had my order down after my second visit and it tasted better than a mocha from SB.

Fair coffee for an in-transit place. This is for the in-terminal location. The proprietress was quite cognizant that she was serving commuters, even if the people in line were utterly clueless that the ferry would be leaving soon. Poured directly into my travel mug(from a roaster in SWVA), they coffee stayed warm as long as the coffee lasted. The blend’s flavor was middle of the road, but what do you expect from a ferry dock’s coffee joint? It was fresh and hot. That’s much better than many. Mind you, I roast myself, appreciate drip brews, and never could get enthused about the Blue Bottle circle-jerk in SF. Scale your expectations appropriately.

You are a complete disappointment! I just purchased two drip coffees before running on to catch the Bainbridge ferry. They are cold! Not even luke warm. What coffee café serves cold coffee?! If it’s not ready or cold, just tell me and I will order something else. Now I am sitting in my car with cold coffee and very dissatisfied. I will never visit any of your locations ever again.
