Center for Birth

We had our daughter at Center for Birth. What an amazing facility — very well planned and has a spa like with calming effect. Our birthing process for tremendously special and this facility surely played an important part in it in addition to having rockstar midwife (and team) from Seattle Home Maternity. If we ever plan to have another baby, we will surely be using this birthing center again!

Beautiful place to have a birth, hands down! All three rooms have a calming spa feel, gorgeously decorated, clean and equiped with all birthing needs. Center for Birth works with Midwife Seattle in Mapleleaf (highly recommended!!!).

Such a beautiful place to have a baby, second only to giving birth at home. The midwives my client worked with were wonderful and gave such great care to new mama and baby. They welcomed me as her doula and when they found out I had some experience assisting midwives, they would sometimes quietly comment to me on what they were doing and answer my questions.
Baby was born twenty minutes after we arrived! So we had to scramble. But all went well and the facility is quiet and lovely and comfortable and spacious. I would recommend to anyone wanting to labor and deliver at a birth center.

I’ve spent the past twenty weeks trying to think of something concise to express the beautiful experience we had with The Center For Birth. Yet the rhythm of life with a newborn doesn’t lend itself to writing or long stretches of deep thought. That said, the baby is asleep so let’s see how fast Mama’s fingers can type. So much care went into designing the particulars of the building. Serene colors, luxurious birth tubs, comfortably designed rooms. Each interaction we had with the owner felt like she was one of our friends. She even sent us the sweetest congratulations, lovely touch. You definitely want to have your baby here. They even designed the counters in the hallway at perfect height to lean on during a contraction. Rare combination of wisdom about birth and pure love for the process. You’ll feel it, very special place!
