Dr Jack Conway was my psychiatrist for a number of years. At one point he prescribed a drug that has a track record of allergic dangerous reactions and told me the odds of gettng sick were about one in a million. In fact the odds of one in a million are for the general population, not people taking this specific medication. My current psychiatrist says one in 2000 people taking this drug have some sort of allergic reaction. Some weeks later i started having side effects and called him naming the very list of side effects that are listed in the black box warning. The black box warning tells you to stop taking the drug immediately and go to the ER. Conway told me to half the dosage and that was the last time I spoke with him because I entered into a medically induced coma after several misdiagnoses and almost died numerous times in the course of the next four months. Dr Conway wrote two notes for the day he administered the drug one saying he warned me significantly about its dangers yet when he was asked why he did not put the drug and the reaction together«it just wasn’t on his radar». I am now permanently disabled with serious eye and lung damage. Draw your own conclusions, safety first.
