interior seems a bit old but the crowd is friendly and the music is good. They also attract local artists that play their own music. Not only they have a back room with a jack for people to play music straight off their mobile devices. Only downside is that their couches have burn marks on them and they didnt fix it but whetever its a hookah bar.

Ever since my first review I am a regular and loyal customer, pretty much on a first name basis at this point! The blends are great and the staff is very friendly! The outside is a little iffy looking but it is worth taking and look trust me! Like all hookah bars there is a membership fee for first timers and they have different room options. If you want a private room ask about there reserve room to see if it’s free. And on Saturday nights there is a live dj in the main room. Feel free to ask about a ice hose or buying a new head for your hookah.

Perhaps I’ll give it another try since I have a required membership, but the guy there is a bit much. We cleaned up after ourselves(ie: grabbed our purchased waters and mouth pieces) which was great for the sizable group we were but left a crunch candy bar wrapper and as we were leaving he was actually like umm can you take this with you. And it just felt like he was hovering the entire night. Goodness.

if you come here when it’s not busy, it’s pretty decent. sound systems for you to hook your music into, a pool table, decent vibes. i used to be a regular. however, on busy nights, it gets crowded as all hell. the owners tend to bring all their friends typically dominate the rooms, making it awkward if you’re there to chill with your friends. lot of sketchy types come through too. worst is, they don’t assume any liability like most other hookah bars do. one of my friends accidentally broke a hookah, by placing it on a table from which it fell, and the owner insisted we pony up $ 70 before leaving. finally, the hookah is underwhelming. even in the earlier times when i was a regular, i’d have them have to repack the bowl or reheat the coals almost immediately because the hookah was hitting way too hard. for the same price, you can get much better quality hookah at medina(in my opinion). after the hookah incident, i no longer come through. i now frequent medina but am exploring other places.

This is a very nice and relaxing place I have ever been too. I like the fact that I can leave a peace of my art in the A’s room. Very cool idea. They also have a pool table over there and u can play your own music. Nice!

THISPLACEISSUPERAWESOME! Great atmosphere, awesome music. 2 smaller private rooms, one main room and one pool hall room. Can even play your own music in some of the rooms. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made my first experience here absolutely amazing. MUSTGOWITHALLYOURFRIENDS! It was a better experience than any hookah lounges I’ve been to before in California!!!

I will agree that the place is a little scary from outside, not inviting at all. But once you go in and try their hookah, you will be pleasantly surprised. I suggest going before the 2AM rush(after bars) since it can get a little crazy, but otherwise its a nice place to relax. I’ve been to MANY hookah bars(esp. in Montréal), and this is by far my favorite. They don’t use quick light charcoals, and they bring you fresh charcoals very often. I highly suggest using their home-mix called«cloud 69»(or something like that), its very, very good.

I thought there was no hookah places up here in the Seattle area but I was definitely wrong. Seems like overnight a dozen popped up. I search here on Unilocal and found Da Spot. From the outside, it seems kinda sketch. The building doesn’t really have any signage and its in a bit of a dingy part of town. There is always a security guard working, sometimes with a gun, which made me wonder about the place. Not to worry though, after going a few time, I’m pretty sure it’s just preventative. Once you get inside though, it’s a pretty nice place. Prices are pretty standard($ 15 – 17). Well stocked supply of drinks. I’ve had a few missed on the hookah bowls a few times but nothing huge. Friday and Saturday there is a DJ if you go late enough(I think he gets started around 1am). This sometimes turns it into a impromptu mini-dance room. The staff is what really makes this place special. They are super friendly and you can tell they are running the business because they love smoking hookah. You can tell this because they will come and smoke and chat with you sometimes if it’s not crazy busy at the moment. There are always plenty of people working and you’re never really left waiting. If you need something, you just need to get their attention and they are always quick to respond.

On a whim I decided to stop by this place. I found this place thanks to the Unilocal mobile app.(What would I do w/out this awesome app, I don’t know…) I had no idea what to expect going in but being frisked on the outside by a security guard had me a little weary as to what it would be like on the inside. These fears subsided once I walked up to the counter and talked to a young guy that had probably been breathing the 2nd hand smoke of several hours worth of customers. Either way, he was cool. To smoke there you need to become a member for $ 5 and then it was $ 15 for a nice big hookah with a choice of shisha. I selected something called Cloud 9 which he said was really popular. Lil Wayne was(loudly) playing and I sat down on a very comfy couch and after a few minutes the same nice guy placed the hookah in front of me and I enjoyed a great relaxing evening. I was right by the speaker and was a little put off by the volume, but a cool girl from Somalia sitting on the adjacent couch started chatting with me and I tuned out the music. It was a good night and I left at about 2AM. The bathroom was clean and I checked out the, at the time, empty dance room. There was a guy playing some music in it though. There is no alcohol on site, at least that I saw, but there are plenty of sports drinks, energy drinks, and pop/soda. One thing that I kinda thought was out of place was a TV that played ESPN. I don’t associate hookah bars with TVs, but whatever… This place is open super late too.(4AM! wow) But its not open on a few weeknights, call ahead or check the website.

I’m from San Francisco and an avid hookah smoker… therefore, I make it a point to try different hookah bars whenever I travel. I found this hookah bar on Unilocal and it turned out to be one of the best I’ve been to. I would love it if they had a spot like this in our city. They use good tobacco here and they also use the good charcoal(the coco-nara brand) instead of that quick lighting stuff with all the chemical taste. The guys who work here are super attentive and they always come around with charcoal and check up on you. The owner is super friendly too, a really easy going guy. The vibe is really cool too– there are about 4 different rooms and they’re all on a first come first serve basis– so you can snag your spot early and just hang out. It has comfy couches and black lights– definitely a smoker’s vibe. I really enjoyed this place, you can definitely spend a good few hours here if you like smoking hookah. The hookahs are also very reasonably priced… about $ 15-$ 17 depending on what you want. Highly recommended! Enjoy…

I stumbled upon this place while walking one day. A few of my friends decided to pop in and see what ‘Da Spot’ was and if it was in fact THE Spot. The hookah bar itself is small, with couches around the perimeter. It’s not the best décor but the service was extremely friendly. They have a back room with a iPod hookup so you can play your own music. I wasn’t sure about this at first but I was won over by this small, added bonus by the time I left. The hookah is reasonably priced. The guy even came in and refilled it, which seems to be a rarity. Don’t go into this place expecting to be «wowed» by the design because you won’t be. There are burns on the carpet and couches. Regardless, I really enjoyed my time here and plan to revisit ‘Da Spot’ very soon!
