Dance with Mollie

OMG. is that dance or a «stand-​up» comedy. (well the dancers are standing the whole time. and shaking their hips).! !! C’mon. don’t misguide people by calling this even «Bollywood dance». People who watch bollywood movies can tell at a glance its an eyewash in the name of «Bollywood». You could go to their website and any serious dancer would just by looking at any of the videos, would never call it a «dance». I can list it under, entertainment, movements. but Dance??? NO way.

SIT-​REP
While visiting mom in her Northgate neighborhood, I love hitting the interesting eateries and establishments in the nearby community of Lake City.
I have a tendency to peek into windows and wander into stores without knowing absolutely nothing of what I’m getting into. This is ONE such case.
THE SET-​UP
Being a long-​time lover of the art of belly-​dancing and other ethnic dances, I could tell RIGHT AWAY that this is a FUN place to take lessons. I saw only a few women on this particular outing, but it was a recommendation that I certainly made to my mother — whom is still quite active for a young 73 — and think she would get a total kick out of it, OR at least watch it.
The instructor MOLLIE apparently has quite a diverse number of students of all ages and proficient at various levels of technical skills, some of them, judging by pictures and involvements at very high levels of success in the «BOLLYWOOD» style of dance art.
THE LOWDOWN
My curiosity is really racing over this novel dance school and I have to admit I am going to check it out a lot more with future visits to Seattle.
