What can I say? I LOVE a good deal. EVERYTHING in this store is only a DOLLAR! I absolutely love this dollar store.
They have a lot of good items that could be much more in a regular grocery store. I generally go to these types of stores to find fun things for my girls to do for cheap.
They are good for picking up simple things. Not fancy but adequate in a pinch, especially if your rental is missing a few small things. This place is a good example of the «You get what you pay for» expression.
How can you go wrong if you are only investing a dollar? For a dollar store, they actually have a TON of useful stuff from kitchen utensils to any of your party needs, whether it be a birthday, babyshower, BBQ or holiday party, to office supplies and household products! Pretty much all kinds of stuff from this place.
The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 stars is because of the employees. They don’t greet you or even say a word when you are checking out other than your total. This Dollar Tree is worth checking out!

Perfect location! College students love deals because just about everyone is on a budget. Good selection. there are dishes, cups, food, candy and other knick knacks for one dollar :) The cashiers are friendly too. I read this name tag shout out to Joseph for ring me up. You sure bring a positive attitude!

The U District Dollar Tree is an interesting experience. Street people frequently congregate outside under and around the bus shelter: it sometimes feels like a bit of a gauntlet to get in. You’ve got to enter with an open mind and not a predetermined shopping list, because you never know what you’ll find. I mostly go for food, and usually come away with long shelf life items in cans and bags. Mostly off brands you’ve never heard of, like Polish stuffed olives. Everything is really a dollar, though some items, notably soft drinks, have tax on top. It helps to have a can opener and a fork or spoon. It’s tough to eat healthy off these shelves, but there are usually nuts, seeds, canned beans, sardines, string cheese and a variety of potted meats that can keep you going. It’s much easier to fill up on empty calories here: lots of candy and chips and other junk.

This store has very friendly staff members! They also have a great selection of frozen fruits, frozen vegetables, rice, beans, etc. You CAN eat healthy on a limited budget!

This Dollar Tree has a surprisingly large selection. The staff are friendly and make sure to ask you if you need help finding anything. They have a ton of household stuff, which is great with all the apartments in the area. Make sure to check in after September– all of the college kids arriving limit the amount of items they can keep in stock.

Wow this is probably the best dollar tree I’ve been too! I found everything I was looking for my new place and spent under $ 20 (yes total amount of items was around 15, but I found everything on the list!) They utilize their space very effeciently and I enjoyed shopping here! Great selection of items!

Excellent supply! I went to get some activities for my toddler, and left with a big, full bag of paint, chalk, toys, blocks, and Easter decorations — for $ 12!
Parking was a breeze in the morning.
Seriously can’t wait to go back, and for the price, I don’t mind if my daughter breaks or loses something at the park :)

You can’t beat the prices. I came in specifically for baby shower decorations and ended up only spending $ 13.
Also, the pop tarts taste like the actual stuff.

I discovered the Dollar Tree about two years ago and love it! They carry so many items that you would pay $ 2-​$ 10 for at the regular store. How do they make money?
Anyway on my last trip to the University Dollar Tree, I was impressed by one employee named GHIA (I hope I got that name right). She approached me to see if I had any questions and three or four times she left to do or get something for me, or find something out. I was surprised to get this level of service at a place like Dollar Tree.

You can find just about anything you can imagine. All for truly a dollar! I’ve been in other dollar stores just to find a handful of $ 1 items and the other stuff are priced at $ 2 but they say it’s a dollar store.
The products are generic brands an almost everything is made in China. But, there were some beans name shampoos, food products, bath items.
Can’t go wrong with the price for the product you’re getting!

My wife loves this place for small party supplies. Parking can be found in front or on the side streets. One negative is the homeless all around.

3 stars for shopping, but no star for parking. The parking lot charges a $ 3min to park. Recommend walking to this place.

The Dollar Tree is the first place I hit up when in need of party related items. Why hit up a party store when you can find streamers, plates and napkins for cheap? I’m currently in the process of planning a Bavarian themed bachelorette party. Thanks to Dollar Tree, I was able to find sturdy beer mugs for a buck each! Perfect just in case if a cat fight breaks out.

I feel really guilty for getting cheap junk from China for my students.

The Halloween skeletons are a huge success!!!
One problem… they have locked and closed the back door to prevent theft but you have to walk around an entire block to get in the front door. Annoying!!!

Better than most dollar stores I have been to. The staff are so friendly, and there is a LOT of things that are in the store. I have bought some supplies and food here and it has been great. The food are all things I have not seen before (they are either foreign or the not name brand type) but they still taste great.
One down side is that I have never seen them utilize more than 2 lanes. This can lead to long lines, which is why this got pegged down one star. Other than that, everything else is awesome.

Great selection if you are on a budget. It is at a fairly convenient location.
I noticed that they often only have one staff at the check out stand. Sometimes people take awhile to check out and the line gets really long. Give yourself some extra time during your next visit.
They only take debit card or cash. No credit card.

Meaning as good as it gets in terms of Dollar Stores. Please don’t consider THIS 5-​star review to be equivalent to my five-​star review of, say… well, what do you know. I just looked back through my reviews and most of the 5-​stars are for places like this. I guess I love a cheap thrill.
But it’s about time there was a dollar store in the city. I buy all kinds of stuff here for science labs and other school-​related projects that I don’t want to a) spend real money on and b) I don’t care if it falls apart in 2 minutes.
Plus it’s new, so the sketch-​factor is currently pretty low. **

Man, I grew up with a Dollar Tree near my house so seeing one here in Seattle really made my day. Everything here is $ 1 or less. Everything is new and seems like it’s probably overstock.
There are even $ 1 Pepsi bottles and $ 1 Coke bottles (although the Coke ones seem to be of smaller size, not 20oz). There are a ton of the smaller toothpaste tubes (Crest, Colgate) … and even a lot of the dry goods are foods you have seen in a regular grocery store before.
I would probably stay away from the weird brands for shampoo, deodorant, etc. … that’s just me.
