Savvy Mattress Outlet Northgate

I bought the Hilton mattress on sale recently and it is a great mattress for a great price. I was going to shop around, but the price was right so why bother going to other stores. It had a little scuff so they game me more money off. The mattress cover was also less than I have paid in the past and it was a larger size. My last mattress I got from the old sleep country outlet that used to be across the street and my new, bigger mattress was less expensive by 30−40%. There was only one sales guy but as soon as he was done with the person ahead of us he was helpful and efficient. The delivery times were also convenient, but they call later with the window.

Rob helped me out without even having to go in and got the bed the next day very nice and extremely reasonable.

My wife and I found a mattress that we really liked at a local store in MN, and, like most things my wife prefers, soon discovered it was one of the most expensive models they had at the store. Started shopping around online and came across Savvy and the exact model that we liked for over $ 1000 less than where we had originally seen. At this price, I could afford the mattress I wanted if I took the risk from ordering from across the country. I decided to take-​a-​chance and couldn’t be happier. The salesman discussed all the pros/​cons of the model I was looking at, provided accurate tracking info, and delivered on price. Ours was supposedly overstock as opposed to scratch and scuff. No damage or marks, just a brand new looking bed with matching bed frame. I strongly recommend and advise new clients to trust national shipping. We used PayPal — effortless process, and they passed on savings to us. Thanks — I’lll call you again in 10 years!

We had such a wonderful experience here! Riley helped us find the exact mattress we wanted for hundreds of dollars cheaper than it was listed online. He usually works at the Lynwood store, so if you want really good customer service as well as a low pressure, relaxed environment with someone extremely knowledgeable, head to the Lynwood location. We came in right as they were closing ( Unilocal said they were open until 8, though they actually close at 7) which we didn’t realize until we asked him at 7:20 what time they close. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured and he assured us that he didn’t mind keeping the store open for us.
He let us know right off the bat that he was willing to work with us on price and knocked the price down significantly without us having to haggle. He was extremely patient as we tried to find a better deal online (we couldn’t) and seemed open to price match if we did find something. He was even honest about the fact that manufacturers sell the same model under different names to make comparison shopping difficult and explained to us the differences between the model we were interested in and some similar, cheaper ones we found online to help us make our decision. (All of the things he pointed out were listed in the specs, so it wasn’t like he was trying to pull one over on us.)
At no point did Riley try to steer us towards more expensive models. At one of the other stores that we went to the salesperson tried to get us to spend more than we wanted and even became a little rude and dismissive when we mentioned that our budget was under $ 1,000. Riley at no point tried to up-​sell us or influence our decision, but waited until we found something we liked, and answered all of our questions about it. We also wanted a cheap bed frame and because they didn’t have their most inexpensive model in their warehouse, Riley looked up his favorite brand on amazon to make sure that the mattress and the frame were within our budget.
One thing that I was really impressed with and appreciated was that he very tactfully reminded us to have some cash on hand to tip the delivery guys– which I totally would have forgotten. (Delivery is free, btw, though mattress removal is $ 20.) He said something like, «We have such fantastic delivery guys. They really care about what they’re doing– they’re like waiters, they work for tips, so they work really hard to please their customers.» He was right, the delivery guys were awesome and I loved that Riley was looking out for them to make sure that they got their well deserved tips.
The only con is that because you’re buying a mattress that has minor damage or cosmetic flaws, you lose the manufacturer’s warranty. Although scuffing or cosmetic damage that happens after you take it home will void the warranty anyway and I’ve never known any of my friends or family that have had to return one (knock on wood) so this wasn’t a big deal for us.

I had a great experience at this business and location. Casey was friendly, very helpful and didn’t pressure me at all and I ended up with an amazing deal on a mattress, boxspring and frame. The prices were right and the service was excellent. Delivered same day by two very friendly, cheerful and helpful young men. I will definitely be recommending this business and location and am very satisfied with the product, service and ease of the entire transaction. Excellent guys working here!

I just moved to Seattle and I am in need of a bed. Read the reviews and they had a $ 100 off coupon. So, I thought I had found a good honest place. So here I am walking into the place with beds galore and I felt like a gay version of goldilocks and the three bears! The salesman was a nice young buff fellow and he made me feel at ease. We jumped from bed to bed, to see what I would like, some were to firm and some were to soft, but then he showed me some that were just right. I told him that I am broke as a joke and did not have much to spend. He told me a tale of a magical new bed that was beautiful and was made just for me. We settled on a price and I was happy as can be. I waved goodbye and I said, have a good life, because I didn’t plan to come back you see. I woke up this morning from a plastic bag of air and I was happy that I am going to be sleeping on a new magical bed. They dropped off the bed in plastic, and I gave the young chaps a tip and I waved goodbye. I unwrapped the beds and I cried out in pain. The bed they has sent me was dirty and possibly the floor model. It had hand prints and dirt all over. I called them and the young fellow was not there, but a new sir said fear not, I will have a new bed sent tomorrow. I will give an update tomorrow and I hope it will be a good one.
Update, they just dropped off the new bed and it’s the correct one. Hopefully it will be as comfortable as stated.

My wife and I came here by accident looking for a different mattress store, but I’m glad we did. We found a really high-​quality mattress for the same price as some other low-​end ones we had tried in downtown Seattle. They delivered to our house for free. In retrospect, I wish I had given a tip to the movers. They were awesome.

Gotta say, I love these guys. Courteous, helpful service and excellent prices. Tim, the manager, is first-​rate, and I’ve also heard favorable comments from a friend who too bought a ‘savvy’ mattress about another young guy who works there. Marcel and Manuel, who delivered my mattress were very polite, careful and efficient as well. Hats off to the Northgate outlet of Savvy Mattress. I look forward to their return after the building project, and I will continue to recommend them to all my friends. Five stars! I know I’m going to love my new bed!

So I purchased a bed from Savvy about 3.5 weeks ago and I am loving it. This is the third bed I have purchased myself in 25 years and is most definitely the best bang for my buck I have found. Not to mention it’s probably the best sleep I have had.
I would have to agree with all of the positive reviews for the North gate store. I spent about 2.5 hours at the store testing beds, and really testing sleeping positions and comfort between two beds. I ended up going with a gel infused memory foam mattress which was on sale for a great deal.
I forget the name of the gentlemen who helped me out, but he was not pushy at all, very knowledgable about the beds they carried, and just extremely helpful in general.
I did a bit of online comparing and didn’t see any better deals out there. To be honest, I’d be surprised if there are any. Save yourself the time driving between stores and just go check out Savvy. They have some great beds at really great prices. They even have a room of «as is» beds which don’t come with a warranty, but are priced at an EXTREME discounts. I almost wish I had spent more time looking at those, because I can’t remember anyone I know ever using a warranty for their bed.
Anyway I’m extremely happy with what I got. Thanks for the amazing bed!

Savvy Mattress in Tukwila…90 Days Same as Cash is a GIMMICK!!! Apparently, the people who gave any stars above ONE did their review before their financing began… or before their 90 days was up (or they are employees of Savvy Mattress)!!! The sales person (whom should be selling cars… broken cars at over-​market price) was extremely shady. We went against our gut feeling and purchased a $ 1200 mattress for $ 1000. We put $ 500 down, and financed the remaining $ 500 at «90 days same-​as-​cash» (which is the only financing option they offer). After our 90 days was up, we noticed that money kept coming out of our account. Apparently, Progessive (the financing company) only offers 12 month installments. If you want 90 days same as cash, you are supposed to call in and request it. Which, none of this information is given to us from either party (Savvy Mattress OR Progressive). So, we were automatically signed up for this 12 month program. However, if you do not pay off your loan within 90 days, they charge you 1.8 times the amount you originally financed (WHICH IS ALMOST TWICE THE LOAN AMOUNT, FOLKS!!!). Now, we are paying the full amount of the mattress PLUS THE AMOUNT THAT SAVVY MATTRESS WAS GIVEN! Now our $ 1000 mattress (such a deal, says the Savvy Mattress sales guy) is now a $ 1600.00 mattress. If I had known, I would have bought a $ 1600 mattress from a reputable company without gimmicks. My stomach is literally sick. What ever happened to honest people??? Shame on you, Savvy Mattress Outlet… and Progressive for that matter.

Lino is awesome! Helped me find my first queen mattress. And even when it didn’t work out for me and I somehow ended up with a bed much too firm for me, he worked with me to find one that would be a great fit! Friendly, outstanding customer service! These guys are the best and I will actually miss visiting them now that I have a great bed.

Casey the manager was very helpful and patient while I spent over an hour test– driving numerous beds!!! I really appreciated the no pressure atmosphere.
When I finally decided on my chosen mattress I was delighted to find that they were having a sale and I received a nice discount!
My delivery was arranged and when the nice young men (Tyler and Brandon) arrived they were on time, courteous and careful. They quickly set up my new bed and even relocated my old bed into the guestroom for me!
If you need a new mattress just go straight here and save yourself the ordeal of shopping around, as their prices are great (better than Sleep Country, Macy’s etc.) and their customer service is super!

With back problems, a tight budget but the desire to spend ¹⁄₃^rd of my life in comfort, I found myself in «mattress alley» in Northgate. Savvy won my business and thus far I am a very happy customer!
Savvy had a good showroom with lots of beds to try out. Considering I was in there on a whim, I greatly appreciated their non-​aggressive and friendly approach. They pointed me in the right direction and just let me browse around, yet were always within ear-​shot for my questions to which I received knowledgeable and clear answers. The service was great, but the best thing was the high-​quality beds at very low prices. Ridiculously low.
Not one to buy the first thing I see, I comparison shopped at all the other stores. Rather than stoop to Sleep Countries level and trash talk, lets just say that Savvy won (*though Mattress Depot was good too). Also, not being one to trust such ridiculously cheap prices, I looked at the « Unilocals» of Savvy Northgate, Shoreline, Redmond, Tukwila and all of them had very positive reviews. The Bad Business Bureau also had no complaints filed against Savvy.
The next day I went back to Savvy and Mattress Depot for a 2^nd trial and Savvy won my business.
Why I bought from Savvy over the others:
— Great customer Service
— High-​end beds at extremely low prices
— Sure, they are factory seconds, but the structural integrity is guaranteed so who cares.
— With the purchase of a mattress protector, if this bed screws up my back, I can exchange it within a reasonable period of time.
— Did I mention that I just got a 10k bed for 1.6k total! Plus a decent platform bed frame! Can’t be beat!
Still waiting on arrival but I expect the delivery and bed will be great in which case I will put in a formal request to Unilocal to enable ratings of 10 stars.

There needs to be a way to give 10 stars because I don’t know if I can appropriately praise Savvy Mattress Outlet with just words!
We returned Memorial Day weekend for a new bed for us, me and my husband. As our daughters did their best to destroy the place, (my 4 and 5 year old got to join us on our hunt for a mattress and were thrilled to bounce away on all the beds! Thanks for your patience guys!), my husband and I decided on a firm pillow top.
It was delivered by week’s end and it took Brian and I about 6 days to sadly realize that this bed was not for us. Brian was waking up with backaches and I did not like the sinking feeling of the pillow top. I made a call into Lino and Casey at the Northgate store and without hesitation they told me to come in and check out other beds and consider an exchange. (We bought a mattress protector which made it possible to do a return and to get a new mattress). Lino had some new mattresses brought up to the showroom for us to try out and within a couple days, we had our new fabulous bed! I really appreciate the amazing, personal service, the speedy delivery, and the immediate attention these guys give me. They make me feel like an old friend and always give us a great deal!
I can’t wait until we need another new bed so I can go back!

Excellent service!!! Dan at the Northgate store gave us really great service. We were on a tight budget but needed a good quality king-​size bed. We started our shopping at Savvy Mattress, then headed out to check all their competitors. I had always been a fan of Sleep Country but they were disappointing and the only beds within our budget were not comfortable at all. We ended up coming back to Savvy because for the price and quality, they had the higher quality bed compared to all the others. Dan at Savvy gave us a very competitive price that was able to fit our budget. After having slept on the bed for a few days now, it is official: It is an awesome bed! On top of this, the dellivery guys were not only right on time but friendly in a real and sincere way. Awesome service all around. Thank you Dan!!! It was very much appreciated!

Awesome service from picking out a box spring in the store to delivery. They set up my whole bed even though the only thing I bought from them was the box spring. The service was quick, informative, and friendly! Would recommend them to anyone! Only issue was some misinformation from one of their sales guys over the phone… wasn’t able to use my voucher even though one guy said I could over the phone… prices and service were so good I still bought my box spring there.

As a professional fiduciary, I represent clients during financial transactions. In this particular case, I had a client who needed to purchase a new mattress. She submitted to me three bids all from the Northgate area, and reported that Savvy Mattress and Kraig Werner was significantly the most helpful, courteous and best priced over their competitors. I followed up with Kraig to discuss the bid details and ultimately requested an upgraded mattress from the original bid. My client needed to return a second time and with Casey Martin’s help tried out additional mattresses to identify the (new) best one for her. (She also purchased some furniture.) Furthermore, our firm needed to make special arrangements with payment since the transaction was to be paid by a trust account so Savvy Mattress Corporate assisted in that process. Craig always followed up promptly when payment was received, the mattress and furniture was ordered, and when delivery needed to be scheduled. The level of follow-​up and service far exceeded my expectations. (As someone who represents others my standards are very high.) They performed everything as promised and all in an extremely friendly and professional manner. I highly recommend Savvy Mattress Co at Northgate and would use them again especially on behalf of my clients. I recently saw the furniture and new mattress at my client’s residence and it looks great and she is thrilled. Thank you!

Worked with Paul & Casey and they are both great guys… Came in and looked at some beds a couple days before purchasing and let them know i was shopping around before making a choice and thier was no pressure to buy now for speacial today only deals and they completely understood where I was coming from. They let me look around, small talked a little and made me a few speacial offers and said if I come back the offers would still stand instead of saying they were only for today. I went to a few places and looked around, including the SLEEP CPUNTRY across the parking lot which i had the worst most rude experience of my life shopping and they slandered Savvy while I was there. After shopping around I went back with my fiancé and we looked at a few beds and found a great World Class Beauty Rest that sells at macys for $ 2700.00 Retail and currently is online for sale at $ 1700.00 and we got it brand new out the plastic for $ 700 bucks with the foundation, no tax no delevery charge and it was in our hands the next day!
Sounds like a great place right, well it got better. Me and my fiancé are both pretty short, I am 5’6″ and she is 4’11″ and when we got home we found the bed to be way to tall for us with both the foundation and mattress on the frame. We called back and asked if we could still swap out our foundation for the Low Pro foundation they had recommended in the first place due to the mattress being pretty thick lol. They said no problem, and we were able to swap it out and now the bed is perfect as can be and i honestly have not slept better on a bed in my life…
I highly reccomend giving this place a visit after you have shopped around and saw bed prices, or if you want to just skip it all and save some time and feel cnfident you are getting a great deal, just go here first. ITS UP TO YOU!
