So this is weird. I’m updating a review from four years ago that I gave one star to and now having eaten at Eddie’s a few dozen times since then, I no longer believe it should have been given one star to. Or maybe it did then, but not now. About two years ago I started going to Eddie’s again because Thai really isn’t an easy find in the Greenlake hood and I figured I’d given it another shot. Fast toward to today and I mean c’mon, it’s the bomb. Their dishes are really bold and contain a lot of fresh ingredients. Chickpeas and tomatoes and potatoes in Phad Thai — why not! It’s great. Eddie, I’m glad we’re friends again.

So… I gotta say, this was a first. First time getting a panang and a pad see ew with cabbage in both. I’ve gotten carrots before in other places, But cabbage? The flavors of both dishes were decent, just weirded out by the cabbage. And zucchini, and chick peas, and tomatoes… just weird.

This is a unique Thai restaurant, I would call it an American Thai Asian fusion. The food is healthy and Eddie is the man.

I read great things about their food but I wouldn’t know as the two times I tried to have it delivered by grub hub it never arrived. Grub hub was useless and ordering direct store was worse. 3 orders and no deliveries This is strike three and I’m done.

Awful food. If you’ve ever had Thai food and expect decent Thai food, go elsewhere. The Panang curry was limp and only had a couple ounces of watered down flavorless sauce. Pad Thai looked like it had flatlined a week ago. The only redeeming quality was the service on the phone and from the delivery guy(very nice and courteous).

Awww this place is so great! I adore this resturant – so delicious. The owner is so kind and they are very conscience about food allergies, etc. I would eat here every day if I could!

If I could give Eddie’s 10 Stars I Would! We’ve been enjoying Eddie’s delectable dishes since the Mercer Island days. I went there again this weekend and it was a delicious as ever. The Caesar salad with the fruity dressing starts the meal off right! The calamari was buttery and moist. Perfectly cooked with beautiful flavors. We had the Lamb and the Basil Chicken and a Beef dish that was out of this world. And as always, it is Great to see Eddie. He’s a sweet, warm and Hilarious guy! Thanks for taking such good care of us! I’ll be back for more delicious flavors soon!

A very interesting, fresh take on Thai food. Starting from the amazing, finger-licking«caesar» salad that had a fruity dressing(mango and coconut?), we were intrigued. We then had a GREAT panang curry(although the chicken was dry) and lemony scallops, and a delicious halibut in tamarind sauce. We also tried the calamari steaks which you really shouldn’t get unless you love calamari — they were thick(!) and perfectly cooked. The only disappointment was a mixed seafood dish that was very mediocre — some pieces were good, but the prawns were overcooked and the salmon tasted like chum. Overall, a great experience and we’ll go back!

Food is ok to good but not great. I went to their web page and read the accolades they had been given. So with that I ordered the Thai Caesar salad for $ 8.95. It was tasty. It’s not worth the price. It’s more like a $ 5 at best. Barely enough salad for two people. Main dish was #26. It was best described at tereaki chicken with a few veggies for color. Good taste but it had no spicy mess at all. This is a Thai restaurant right? I had to ask for chili paste. They bring two small containers. One with dried chilies. The other with garlic chili paste. Forgive me but Thai food should be cooked with spice not added afterwards. Odd. The online hype about the food is not current. Some of those articles are old. They are trying to say that their Eddies brown rice is something special. It’s not. People don’t eat brown rice much anymore. lol I give them 2.5 stars. Just meh food.

Just ordered for my second time at Eddie’s. The Red Curry Chicken is delicious! I recommend trying it. I’ve never eaten at the restaurant, always pick up. Their hours are a little strange but you can order for takeout during the«break» period. Food is ready in about 10−15minutes.

The pad thai and crispy chicken is sooo amazing! Delivery through eat24 is super efficient too if you live close by. The delivery driver always has a big smile on her face. Always super fresh. Quality ingredients. If you haven’t eaten here, do it! :)

Delivery is on the quicker side. Ive only ordered from the Tofu menu. Its a healthier version of Thai, and I love Thai. Not greasy and things you wouldn’t expect like chick peas, black beans, and potatoes have been in some dishes. You usually get a complimentary side salad that defaults with chicken and I put a note that says, * no chicken please* and they have always gotten it correct and Ive never ended up with chicken on my salad. Dont be put off by it being ‘healthy thai’, its good!

I love stumbling onto a GREAT restaurant and today it was Eddie’s Pan Asian(Thai) on Aurora. I was stuck in traffic and noticed it in a not so great storefront. Looked interesting, so went inside and it was very attractive, clean & air conditioned! The menu is unique with mostly signature dishes & their tag line is ‘spicy but not hot’. I usually roll my eyes at tag lines, but theirs is absolutely true. Eddies food was spicy without the burn! I had the calamari, crispy chicken & signature salad & each was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. It is the best, most unique Thai food I’ve had in years.

So far this is our favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. We usually only get delivery from there. I recommend the Pad Thai, Banange Curry and Thai Iced Tea.

(Review for a Monday night delivery– twice in 3 weeks) Uhh…okay. How can someone live in an area that is notorious for having bad Asian food and miss Eddie’s Pan Asian for 26 years? Eddie’s says since 1989 and I’m floored knowing I’ve somehow managed to miss this place for the 15 years I’ve lived in the Greenwood area. You can browse through my reviews to see my disdain for most of the Asian restaurants in the Greenwood/Broadview area. Most have high marks for karaōke ambiance rather than enticing cuisine, and IMHO, a high percentage of them borderline on inedible. In the last month, we’ve stumbled upon 2 places that have really knocked our taste buds out of the ballpark, one of them being Eddie’s Pan Asian; what we would learn to be a classic neighborhood favorite. 5-star disclaimer: Is Eddie’s a cornerstone for cutting edge, culinary genius? Yeah, probably not. But is it representative of what I think a great neighborhood, Mom-n-Pop, asian restaurant should be? Yup. I can only think of one or two other that ranks as high in this area. How does Eddie’s win my 5-star approval after just a few deliveries? 1) Flavors. From the delicious coconut-citrus dressing they toss their house salads in, to the crisp, flaky texture of their wontons. You can tell Eddie’s sauces and preparations are house-made and with care and uniqueness. Something so many neighborhood asian restaurants get lazy about. How many times have you had asian entrees with the same ol’ gloppy canned sauces on them? How many times have you been to an asian restaurant and you can tell it’s just a display of food-service distributors’ specials of the week? 2) Preparation. All the dishes we’ve had so far were amazingly prepared. Sauces were rich and delicious and bright and tangy. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Meats were tender and melt-in-your-mouth; chicken in my pad kee mao was unbelievably tender for a dish where noodles are the base. 3) Price. Wow. Nothing more than what you would pay anywhere else around here. $ 8-$ 12 entrees. $ 4 – 8 apps. Super reasonable and downright cheap for the quality! 4) Consistency/presentation. We’ve ordered 4 identical dishes for our last 2 delivery and they were insanely identical in their picture-esque presentation. What asian restaurant in this area delivers food that looks this good in the boxes? Bright colors of fresh veggies! Nice little tomato, orange and basil garnishes with entrees and apps! 5) Friendliness and promptness. We were just pleasantly surprised. We’ve had so many surly delivery people; it was just so nice to have warm, pleasant people to deal with. Both of our last deliveries were timed by Eat24(after we placed online order) and both showed up in record time. They both were on Monday though, so I can imagine weekends might be a stretch!) To sum it up, we’ve now found our«go-to» for asian cuisine in the area. When you find a good thing, why deviate? We still have not made it in, but judging from the photos on Unilocal and their website and the occasional glimpse in from Aurora, the place looks cozy and clean! Do yourself a favor and check out Eddie’s soon if you haven’t. I’m really a fan of their Pad Khi Mao and Panang Curry Chicken and wholeheartedly recommend them both. Oh yeah… why is everyone freaking out about the little red potato garnish? I think it’s kind of a unique idea and get a kick out of it. Just another unique aspect of Eddie’s experience!

Quick delivery ordered through the Unilocal app. Food was a mixed bag. Basil chicken had no taste and no heat, was given a cup of sriracha but no fresh chilies at all. Weird veggies, like half a potato and garbanzo beans? Also had giant flavorless chunks of chicken that tasted like it was boiled and then tossed in top of the dish rather than stir fried with the rest of the ingredients. Green curry was good, but same weird veggies. Brown rice had black beans in it?!

4 stars, because of location. Food is really good, very tasty, everything was to its expectation. Eddie is super friendly, the server, Faith was nice and helpful. Food came so fast, the atmosphere inside was very welcoming. I love the red curry, my readers should really come and try this place. Don’t mind the location, focus on the food and friendly service! #food #foodporn #loveit #love #delicious #yummy #awesomeness #relaxing #goodcompany

I’m staying in Greenlakes for a wedding, and wanted some Asian take out. Eddies fit the bill, with a great variety of Asian fusion dishes. I ordered from the«low fat» menu, getting the basil chicken and a side of brown rice. I am eating it right now, and it’s so flavorful and well made I had to post about it. I think this place is awesome, wish I had Asian food like this in Boise. Okay, back to dinner!

This is not good pad Thai. I don’t trust a Thai place that doesn’t do a decent pad Thai. That being said, cream cheese wontons were okay and delivery was fast with a low 20 minimum through . I don’t think I’ll order from here agin, despite proximity.
