No one deserves to be treated the way I was treated here. I walked in, they were not busy, 2 clerks standing staring at me. One barked, «what do you want»? I said I wanted 13 bagels(Monday special) she spat, «10» I said«13» ash replied, «learn how to talk». I asked if they were out of a particular bage and she told me, «take what you get» I started my selection of 13 bagesl she grabbed 2 and threw them so hard they hit with a thud and bounced. I decided they did not deserve my money and left. The 2 laughed and called me a bitch. This kind of service seems to be par for the course judging my the reviews posted on Unilocal

Great experience. Professional staff. Assistant Manager ‘Matt Smith’ went above and beyond the call of duty to help us in a prompt, courteous manner. The food is good, the service is great! –The food met my expectations, but the service exceeded it for the better.

I’m a New Yorker and we take our bagels seriously. With that said these are not a bagel to a New Yorker, but a tasty piece of bread. The bagels are soft and fresh. This place gives a good amount of choices for breakfast sandwiches when most places are coffe houses on Broadway with a limited choice of pastry. I had a southwest breakfast sandwich which included turkey sausage, cheese, egg, salsa, and jalapeño jelly. It was spicy and fresh. I truly enjoyed it(even though it’s not what I would call a bagel). I also enjoyed a Cheever bagel with cream cheese the day before. The coffee was also good. I found it smooth and good tasting.

Came here and bought some drinks. I also asked for a cup for water for my toddler. They gave me a small cup that doesn’t have a lid. Since this wasn’t work well for toddlers I asked if I can get a cup with a lid. They hesitated and gave it to me only after explaining their policy doesn’t allow free cups with lids. I found this annoying and bad service. I was a paying customer but even if not I think giving out a cup of water is just basic service.

The cashier confused orders because he cant handle more than one customer in the building at the same time. I ordered my food, PAID for my food, ate my food and then when im leaving he accused me of trying to leave without paying for my food. I asked to talk to the manager and he pointed out that there were three seattle police officers eating and that I should be talking to them. He got the manager and he looked at the computer and said I did pay for my meal. Ive been a really good customer for a long time at this location. I will never be coming back to any einsteins. Accusing me of walking out on my bill, especially when I paid is over the top. Joking about having me arrested? For not paying for a meal I actually paid for? The cashier and manager should be fired immediately.

Ended up stopping here for a quick bite while running a few errands in Seattle. It was a little late for lunch and way too early for dinner and I didn’t want anything too heavy so I could in fact have a proper meal in a few hours. I figured this would be a good compromise. I ended up ordering the Bag Club on a wheat bagel, lite style. Getting it this way reduces the amount of the bagel being used and eliminating some of the empty calories. The sandwich itself was okay, there was a little bit of turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and anything else you wanted to pile on it. It was average and the price was right. I got an iced tea with my meal and it tasted like they had left the bag in too long while brewing. It was super bitter and I couldn’t even drink even a quarter of it. I ended up dumping it and pouring some of their brewed coffee over ice. That was much better. There was plenty of seating inside and it seemed like a popular place to study as it was across the street from the community college. I’d come back, but would probably just stick to the the bagel selection and not one of the sandwiches.

This was a bummer. I was really looking forward to this bagel, and when I brought it home, it was all squished together and over-toasted. There was barely enough cream cheese which is unforgivable in my book. I wish it was the first time but its not. C’mon guys, just cuz its a plain sesame bagel with cream cheese doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve some love.

Their bagels are decent but the food is often rushed so much they get numerous orders wrong or give orders to the wrong people. I only stop in here occasionally because there is nothing else open when I get off graveyard shift. The product could be better but the staff often seems predictably confused and/or understaffed when busy.

I mean I how do you forget the bacon on my sandwich tho? When the order it self is applewood bacon. LOLSMFH! I had to come back cause I wanted that bacon I ordered. At least the guy was nice enough to give me one of those free bagel voucher thingy for the mistake he didn’t do. The sandwich itself was just eh. Nothing special, really. Wouldn’t come back here, only for that free bagel and shmear voucher I got lol. I’ll give it 3 stars though since I’m feeling nice and generous and the fact that guy was very apologetic.

Do you care if your catering order shows up? Not talking about on time. I’m talking about showing up at all? Had two teams in town for separate offsite meetings the entire last week of January, and was working with a variety of caterers for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week. Einstein is a caterer I’ve used numerous times, and they were scheduled for one of the breakfasts. Tuesday, January 26th, the team arrived hungry for breakfast. When Einstein Bros didn’t show, and the meeting started with a bunch of hungry developers, I called looking for my food. I was nonchalantly informed the order had been cancelled! They didn’t know when or who by, or even how, but just it was cancelled and«sorry for the inconvenience» was all they really had to say. To me, my inconvenience does not come close to describing the failed meal is a direct reflection on the person who ordered it. Thankfully, I never fail and the team understood the dilemma. After racing around downtown Seattle to buy, haul and set up a new breakfast(which was now over an hour past) I called back to speak with a supervisor, who confirmed it was mysteriously canceled, the charge to my Amex returned and confirmed listening to a recording of my call in which the order was placed, and paid the week prior. She assured me a Manager would follow up with me. It’s now March 2nd, and I’m still waiting for a Manager to contact me. Does not take an Einstein to understand they no longer care about my repeat business.

My first experience with Einstein Brothers was at an airport on a random trip when I was a teenager. I remember tasting that bagel and thinking it was one of the best bagels I had ever had. Sooo much cream cheese! I still really like Einstein Brothers and definitely will stop by from time to time. I legitimately find it more appealing than the local bagel shops I’ve tried. I’m rating Einstein A-Ok because they are not doing anything spectacular with bagels, but they’re not doing anything terrible either. You’ll occasionally get a severely undercooked bagel dog but the overall experience is generally positive. I recommend Einstein if you enjoy your bagels: 1. Chewy 2. SOCREAMCHEESY 3. Meh It’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

Staff is friendly, remembered and used my name without being creepy. The café is clean. I didn’t use the restroom because I was in a hurry, and anyone who knows me knows that I really judge restaurants in Seattle by the condition of their toilet chambers. I’m also prone to bagel-bias, because I live across from a great bagel shop in Bellingham, WA. I ordered the sesame bagel, toasted with salmon spread and a coffee. Bagel: 4⁄5 — good for those who like fluffy bagels. It held the spread well and it didn’t poke through the center hole. All in all, a good basic bagel. Spread: 2⁄5 — not reccommending this one. It needed dill/onion some sort of spice, and it tasted oddly sweet, as if the smoke flavor was fake, which it likely was. No chunks of salmon to be seen. Coffee: 2⁄5 — I chose the Christmas cinnamon blend. Not recommending this either, it has a weird initial taste likely from an artificial flavor but the aftertaste is fine. Go across the street to the espresso shack instead of you have the time, or just don’t get this flavor. If I were to go again I’d just get a bagel with butter. You can’t go wrong with butter.

The staff at Einstein’s Bagels are friendly & professional. Every Sunday we go there for the yummy bagels and coffee. The location is out of the way, but it is well worth it. There is a young lady by the name of Marley. She is always on top of things and provides us with great service. Please let her know how much we appreciate her. Thank you for the delicious bagels & awesome service. Mr. & Mrs. Lewis

I’ve only been to a few other locations of Einstein Bros and have never been disappointed. This location has super friendly staff and they keep everything very clean and tidy. I love that they have a variety of brewed coffee with little taster cups for you to enjoy. Even their espresso drinks are not bad at all. I always am on the look out for a coupon in the mail which makes this place even more enjoyable. The staff is already ready to give you a suggestion if you ever feel too overwhelmed or just want to try something new.

If you are into seafood and like new things, try the lox bagel sandwich with a hot coffee. Their service was great and they were busy and apologized sweetly for forgetting to give us out coffee cups. The noise and traffic was usual for a city location. They have a good variety on their menu without overcrowding and confusion. Pretty simple variety and choices and totally customizable for you picky eaters! So whether you love bagels and cream cheese or just coffee. This is a great place for a lunch date

I stopped by Einstein at 6:45am to grab a dozen of bagels + 2 tubs of cream cheese for workplace just to celebrate end of work week. To my surprise, Einstein was already so busy… the 2 employees there were running around trying to help serve/ring customers’ orders as fast as possible. Even though I had to wait a bit before I could leave with my orders, I appreciated their employees’ genuine effort to speed up everyone’s orders. It was one of those mad Friday craziness I suppose! Service was courteous and employees tried their best to help you get your orders out. Better yet, the bagels there taste fresh and good! Can’t complain about service/food quality at all. Overall, nice place to stop by and grab quick breakfast. And, oh, check in your mail some time for coupons/discounts from time to time, too.

Stopped here with a friend on the way to go Ride the Ducks. I went for two plain old bagels with cream cheese. The strawberry lemonade was really good and I mean really good. The bagels were also equally as good. They were sooooo soft and not dry at all. I kind of expected that as opposed to some dry olé bread ring from like a supermarket or something. The staff were really friend too and seemed to enjoy what they were doing and didn’t give any attitude for two people who had never been there before. First-timers. We thought we were okay with just buying two each but we had to get a few for the road. They really are wonderful bagels. With that said, they are just bagels soooooo take it as it is. Going and having a bagel at a bagel shop is kind of «a thing» so at least give this place a try as opposed to your normal breakfast stop or coffeeshop. You probably can find more selection at like a Panera Bread or something but these bagels here are really really good. Did I mention the bagels are super awesome and really good? They’re really good though. Really good. On a side note, and this is just Seattle, but I think we parked illegally just to get to this place as there wasn’t a lot of parking. I think there was some sort of parking garage nearby but we were soooo over that just to get a bagel. Let’s be real! So maybe park somewhere legal and walk around and take in the whole area along with this bagel shop.

I know there are a number of people who are upset about corporate businesses moving on to the hill, but I personally really like Einstein’s bagels. I used to visit the Einstein’s at UVillage once a week before my move to the hill so I am happy to see this here. They have hired some friendly staff if a bit scatter brained at times. They always seem to have my favorite potato bagels ready to go when I come in. The cost is affordable. I like to get the box of bagels and schmear. I highly recommend the herb schmear. Breakfast sandwiches there are also very delicious. For a little corporate spot they do breakfast, lunch, and bagels pretty well. I recommend popping in for a dozen.

Ok it is a chain. But this is a chain that works. Yummy bagels, fast service and consistent service. Also you can’t beat the price point. It is a bit sterile as far as style, but I like sterile in a restaurant. Try the holiday blend coffee at Christmas. I ended up buying a few bags
