Horrible. Not worth going to. Everyone is rude, they have poor customer service. You walk in and it felt like you are not welcome even with an appointment. It’s in the seedy part of Magnolia as well. The owner didn’t seem to care.

I bought the livingsocial deal– it was a good deal and worth a little spa adventure! Lets see I bought that a few months ago and made an appointment last week for today. Facial with under-arm wax. Pretty basic and not too complicated. I arrived just on time, took me a bit longer then I thought to find it but she was sitting there waiting for me. There were other customers in there and it was bustling for an late Saturday morning. I could see a few hair chairs, a special kids section, massage room and facial room. The facial room is fine, everything seemed clean and in order. We got my waxing out of the way and it was pretty good as far as getting your armpit hair ripped off. I don’t know that I would ever say«yay, that wax was great, lets do it again»…same reason we don’t get pap smears for fun… I get facials for my skin so I don’t mind the occasional noise outside but if I was getting a massage, I really wouldn’t want to hear others talking, and I could hear some talking outside. My facial was good, she used a tool for extractions and I typically prefer them to use their hands but it seemed to do that trick. She said that she had been doing facials for 15 years, she was a nice and considerate Indian woman. A bit difficult to understand at times but very nice. She did a ton of facial/shoulder massage before putting my mask on and generally it was your average to above average facial. I liked this. Yes, compared to say the Gene Juarez Spa this place is more rural and small town but the people were nice and welcoming and the services were sufficient. They handled the living social deal easily and without issue. I am not sure I’ll be back, it’s a little out of the way for me, even if I was DT, it’s in Magnolia… but it’s nice to have a back up joint if I ever need a quickie wax or service.

Don’t get your nails done there! The nail girl has no idea what a pedicure means. You are wasting your money!

Stay away from this divey terrible salon! If you bought the living social, return it immediately! I showed up for my appointment and it is in this terrible little strip mall, with 2 chairs. It is a very low-quality salon. When I walked in they were so rude they would not even stop working to come and greet me, or apologize for being 30 minutes late for my appointment. I went in for a color and there was no way I was letting these rude women touch me with hair dye so I rushed out! Even though they were rude and late for my appointment, they charged me for my living social, which was $ 40. Stay away!!!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been trying to find a place to get my hair cut where I felt comfortable. I finally found it at Epic Styles. I’ve been there a couple of times now; each time Elaine has cut my hair, each time she’s done a great job. Its a great environment, classy yet relaxed enough that you can take your kids there or to pop in for a quick trim. And the price is right.

We live in Queen Anne and had been looking for a place to get my son’s hair cut. A neighbor referred me to Epic Styles, so I took my son(age 8) there and we were both very satisfied. The accomodated us even though we were a drop-in and did not have an appointment. They have a special area for kids haircuts that’s really nice. Gina did a terrific job and our son really liked her too. The price was very reasonable($ 15) to which we added a $ 5 tip. We are definitely going to go back. Hurray!

I like this place a lot. I have a really difficult mop of hair, and Elaine tames it. I also don’t like to mess with it, and Elaine makes it easy to be a wash and go girl. Aleyah is wonderful! She shows so much patience and care to my 86 y/o mom and understands that even though she’s old, she still is very concerned about her appearance. We both leave very happy! On top of that, appointment times are respected(no waiting) and prices are great. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less. :)

Great for young kids — I’m the mother of two preschool aged boys and when it comes to haircuts for the kids and for myself(when I’m with them), this is the best place I’ve found. Lots of places have gimmicky kids chairs and gadgets to entertain the kids. Epic Salon doesn’t have those, but it has a small separate room with a hair dressing station, hair-washing sink and a play area with a train table and other toys suitable for preschoolers. This works really well for me. The boys and I can get our haircuts and it’s easy for me to supervise because the kids are never more than a few feet away. They’re usually so entertained my biggest problem is getting them to leave. My haircuts and the boys’ have been fine. My hair has some natural curl, so I’m always pleased when I find hairdressers who know how to deal with that, and the folks at Epic so far have had no problem.
