My fiancé and I were sent here on a scavenger hunt for our anniversary. We had never heard of this place and it was superb. Not knowing what to expect we walked in and were greeted with smiles. We let them know we were looking for a clue that should have been left for us. They were just as excited as we were as the envelopes had been there waiting for us. We explained our story and that it was an anniversary gift from our friend. We took a look at there menu and ordered away. I had a regular Greek salad with chicken. I was able to make two meals out of one salad! They offer a free piece of bread and mix everything right in front of you. Greens were fresh and the dressing was delicious. Location is small definitely room to sit and eat but more of a takeout place. We ate our salads and thanked the staff again. They gave us our meals on the house because it was our anniversary. I doubt they can do that for everyone, but one in a while is nice. I will most definitely recommend this place and be back for more.

Good, healthy salad options! A little pricey(average is about $ 9), but the quality is worth it. You can also get half portions for some. The dressings are particularly delicious. The noon lunch rush has a line out the door, but it generally goes fast and other times are not as insane. My co-worker usually orders online and avoids the line, though.

Pricey but also very healthy! I like it for lunch and keeping me full with greens and veggies. Their ingredients are very fresh and I like that everything is prepared right in front of you so their process is very transparent and you can customize whatever you like. They have free water — I don’t suggest buying any of the bottles juices or drinks(they can be up to $ 10 each!).

Great salad choices. Need better customer service though. It would help if they could hear. I’ve been there 4x and I had to repeat my name over and over. And today I ordered online, gave my name to one guy, passed me on to his coworker and asked for my name. She looked through the other take out orders. Gave me a bag with the same letter as my name. Good thing I read the bag before leaving, cause that wasn’t my order. Again I repeated my name. Seriously? It wasn’t even that busy when I picked up.

Went for the first time last week to the 6th Avenue location. It was busy, crowded but made my way through line fairly fast. The options are great BUT I am very particular about not liking certain foods. The«buffet line» you walk through is messy, cross contaminated with multiple ingredients in wrong other ingredients and just seemed unsanitary. Keep in my food preferences are just that preferences not allergies. If I had an allergy to one of the ingredients I would be really worried. This becomes even more of a problem when they are mixing your salad as you are finished choosing ingredients. The women in front of me had hard boiled eggs in her salad — the smell and taste of eggs makes me gag. They used the same«knife chopper» to cut her salad as they did mine just moments later. This reminded me of a dirty Subway policy where they use the same knife to cut everyone’s sandwiches — once again just seemed gross to me. Even with these concerns I will probably return as the salad was great, it was convenient and a good new lunch option. Sure would be nice to find a way to clean up the«bar» that you choose your ingredients and a cleaner way to «mix /chop» the salad when you are done. Fix these issues /concerns and I think you are on to something!

Initially really liked the place, fresh food, good portion, and quick service when ordering online. I’d walk a bit further out just so I can get a salad from here. However, as of late, my online order, as well as my coworker’s orders, have been incorrect. We noticed missing ingredients — such as chicken or tortilla chips. If this keeps up, I maybe have to find another place.

High quality food and great ingredients, but poor business process. Ordering and assembly of salads is clumsy, disorganized and painfully slow. Managers do not demonstrate mastery(or even basic awareness) of how to manage the intersection of online and in person orders. This leads to back-ups and unhappiness. Call me, I can help improve your process.

Went here for the first time today. I am always nervous since I have Celiac and other food allergies. Great staff and VERY accommodating. I really appreciate how they changed their gloves and offer to toss instead of chopping the salad as to not cross contaminate. Best of all, they were so nice in the process! Thanks guys and great salad too!

A little on the pricey side, but you get a healthy salad made the way you want! Basically, you start with greens and build your own salad with your choices of other veggies and toppings(are they called that in a salad) and a choice of proteins. And if you’re not creative, you can pick from several pre-designed menu choices. The list of dressings is as long as my arm. I had the blueberry-sriracha which had the right balance of sweet and spicy. They come in two sizes, big and bigger(well, that’s what I call them). As they were building my salad, they kept shoving vegetables into the container and I was worried how I was going to be able to open it with out a greens explosion. It turns out that they chop all the salads and then put them back in the container. This particular location has a good sized atrium with tables, shared by all the neighboring restaurants. The staff handles the lunch rush well and keeps the salad building process moving. Quick and healthy makes this a great lunch choice.

Excellent salads! Real salads! No filler! Good prices! This place is definitely a good go-to place if you want something that’s filling AND healthy. I had the El Sombrero. Ask them to go extra light on the dressing because even light dressing is a lot of sauce on your greens. You can eat a salad at this place and go ALLDAY with no other food – seriously! If you’re on a diet, munch on these greens and you’ll lose weight in no time – at least that’s what I’m guessing. Service here is fast and professional, and the servers are very friendly – no Seattle Freeze or Seattle A-holes here. If we’re having nice weather, you should eat your salad in the outdoor seating area, it’s nice and secluded.

I love their salads but their employees are not very focused and make mistakes. I ordered a salad with steak for pickup on Tuesday. I pick it up and discover that the $ 4.50 steak add-on was forgotten. UGH. I come in the next day at 2, but then apparently they’re closing early for that particular day(there’s no notice on the website). I come in today and let them know about the forgotten steak. They’re super nice about not charging me for it in my salad today, but as I order my salad I ask for no croutons(wheat allergies) but the dude puts it in literally 30 seconds after I said no croutons. He eventually remembers and picks it out and offers to remake the salad but that would make me feel like a picky beyotch so I figure I’ll deal with it. Then when I get back to my desk I find out that the caesar dressing is actually blue cheese(which I hate). WTF.

So I’m a vegetarian who isn’t really into salads, no good reason why, but I keep coming back here time and again and have yet to be disappointed. The ingredients are mostly organic and mostly from Washington, hence the name, and super fresh. Lines can appear long but move swiftly. So let’s see: amazing organic salads sourced from our beloved Washington, that’s a win!

Update: new staff and existing employees have stepped-up their attention(kudos to the staff), but it still takes too long to grab a quick lunch at this place. I think it’s a problem with the system and the confinements of the space(sorry Evergreens, I cannot give a better rating because of constraints and their effects on wait time). I noticed that they implemented a third chopper, which seems to help. Keep improving, Evergreens, and I will say my experience is A-OK!

I was recommended the Spicy + Kale caesar salad by an employee and the salad turned out to be bomb af. The spicyness comes from itty bitty chunks of jalapeño for the kick and the salad has a perfect blend of aged parmesan, grape tomatoes and garlic croutons. To finish it all off they freshly chop it up and toss it with a caesar dressing from Pasta & Co. I added chicken because ya boy definitely needed the protein and the whole salad came to be around 11 dollars for a regular size. Overall I think that this place is a little pricey but is definitely worth it if you’re not worried about spending a few extra dollars for fresh local organic ingredients. At the end of the line you get a free piece of focaccia bread along with your salad, which is nice. Not sure if it’s because the sun’s out in Seattle and everybody’s in a better mood but this place definitely had really friendly service.

Evergreens is pricier than other nearby salad places, like Mel’s Market, but for good reason. They source many(maybe all?) ingredients locally and everything is fresh, so you get what you pay for. Each salad comes with a free piece of bread, which is either great or terrible, depending on your ability to turn down refined carbs. The one downside is that the line gets long, and the wait is even longer than you would expect for the line size. Go really early or late to avoid the lunch rush. Almost everyone on staff is super nice. Shoutout to the sweet young man(the one with gauged ears) who takes salad orders at the beginning of the line. He asked me how to spell my uncommon name yesterday, and remembered it today when writing it down for my order.

This is a nice installment in the Wells Fargo center food court. It’s a much healthier alternative to what used to be here,(Quiznos, I believe.) I recommend The Super Bowl with organic quinoa, arugula, almonds, grape tomatoes, and basil vinaigrette. It comes with turkey but I substitute that with egg instead. Comes in regular size only for $ 9.50 plus tax. Portions are large as well. They are extremely busy during lunch rush but I found that the lines are shorter before 11:30 and close to 1pm.

This place is too inconsistent. I went there for lunch today for the first time in a few months and I won’t be returning. They had loud, obnoxious music playing which added nothing positive to the experience. They’ve also become quite sloppy with the cutting boards and keep reusing the same ones so if the person before you has something in their salad that you shouldn’t eat because you’re sensitive to it, too bad! It’s now contaminated yours! I’m keeping two stars due to the sustainable food factor but the bad service makes it no longer worth it to me.

Hi, First time/last time customer here. I did not enjoy my dirty vegan salad. They chopped up the salad using the same dirty knife and cutting board they use to for chicken and salmon and other atrocities. So disgusting, total appetite killer.

Great customer service, friendly staff, and one of the best lunch places in Seattle. I am a holistic nutritional therapy practitioner, and I don’t find places that are this fabulous nutrient wise. Love making my own salad here, and all the different options they have. Also great for individuals with food intolerances, special needs and allergies. Breanne approved! :)

Yeah, I was happy. Crazy salad menu. Fresh everything. If ya don’t like what’s on the menu, think of something on the spot. I will say that if you find it hard to decide on things, like combinations, etc, you should sit down w/their menu, before stepping foot in there. Indecisive people, you’ve been warned.
