Very, very good soups! They provide little cups for sampling which made for a difficult choice — all were yummy. We chose French lentil and Charro, both quite satisfying. We will definitely return next trip to have a sandwich(many good choices there, too).

Love this place. Tons of different freshly made soups daily. Why are there not more soup places in rainy Seattle. I sampled the clam chowder, it was great and not to too thick. I had french lentil which I loved and also chicken chili which was super good. My husband has the bacon, turkey, avocado sandwich and he loved it. I had the turkey cranberry, I wish it had a tad more cream cheese but it was sooooooo good. This is by far my new favorite place. Call ahead or plan to wait at lunch time, gets very busy.

I was looking for«soup» by my office in Eastlake and this place came up. I’d driven by it a dozen times but never knew what it was. The location is remarkably easy to park at(metered parking). When we walked in, there was about 8 people in line. Fortunately, the line moved quick and the food came out impressively quick. It was«free cookie» Friday(AWESOME!) and the choices were red velvet and peanut butter crunch. There were plenty of soup options, some that were dairy free, some that were vegan, some that were vegetarian. I had a combo number 4 — turkey bacon avocado wrap and clam chowder soup. The portion sizes are great and the prices are relatively cheap! Highly recommended if you work in the area. tl;dr — casual tasty and cheap lunch spot, must try if you live in the area

This place is so good! I finally got to try the chicken noodle soup today(every other time they were out :(), and it is DELICIOUS. one of the best I have had. My work is pretty close by, and when my co-workers and I don’t feel like leaving the office for lunch, we have started ordering from here for delivery. They have a wide variety of soups and sandwiches. Their customer service is also wonderful. Everyone I have talked to on the phone is super nice and friendly, especially Elijah. I highly recommend!!!

First off, I have to say do not get the half sandwich and 8oz soup combo. Because you will be left wanting so much more of their delicious food. Not that it isn’t enough food. the combo was plenty filling, in fact I am a little uncomfortably full right now. But, the food is so fantastic, had there been a few more ounces of soup or another half a sandwich I would have greedily devoured it as well. I had their special sandwich, turkey and cheese with a tangy and sweet pepper jelly on thick toasted sourdough. Paired with a New England Clam Chowder that was both creamy and light. The chowder was stuffed with al dente veggies and HUGE pieces of clam. It was worth burning the roof of my mouth for an early taste. Their employees are so wonderful and friendly they made the whole experience a joy. I will be back as often as possible to try more of their fantastic soups!

Absolutely delicious soups, always a line, but service is friendly and never had any issue. I will be going here more and more as they rotate soups and always have good selection and specials.

My boyfriend was pretty hangry after helping me move to Eastlake, so we came in for some good to-go eats(and to try a place in my new neighborhood!) We were both indecisive, but the staff was so nice – not to mention patient – they suggested that we try all the soups before we made a choice. Our food was great! We each got a full sandwich and soup combo, and mine lasted 3 meals(his lasted 1). I’ll definitely be back, as I appreciate my soup being piping hot.

For a casual lunch spot this place is really the shining star of Eastlake. Great soups made from scratch, not from a bag or a mix. Fresh baked goods. Super friendly staff with excellent customer service, quick and convenient, and a fabulous deck with a view of Lake Union. This place really wins my business since they post their selection of soups and daily specials online so I can check before I head out. They even have a great rotation of specials and over the summer they had BBQ days and are always finding something to keep the selection varied while always having staple menu items available such as sandwiches and grilled cheese, tomato or chicken noodle soup, and a fresh salad bar. Oh, and a happy hour with deals on soup near the end of the lunch hour. It’s all the little extras that really make me a repeat customer. The seasonal flavored water that complimentary(berries and mint, cucumber citrus, apples and spices, etc). And I really can’t stress enough how great their employees are. Genuinely making sure you have a good experience and knowledgeable about the menu and baked goods. It’s nice to feel like you are appreciated and not just dealing with someone who doesn’t care about their job, there’s plenty of that at the cafes in this neighborhood already.

This is the only place near my work that has gluten free bread for their sandwiches, but that isn’t the only reason I gave them five stars. My breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious as was my coffee. The building itself is awesome and the staff were incredibly kind. I will undoubtedly be back.

My new go-to for breakfast and coffee before work, and the occasional lunch too. The food is wonderful, especially the giant cookies. They’re always coming up with amazing new combinations of flavors and they’re all great. They have a grill on the deck(amazing view out there to go with your yummy lunch) and a couple of times a week they grill up some tasty chow. The staff are friendly and engaging, and while the prices are a bit on the high end, you get a lot for your money, so I can’t complain. Good stuff!

Finally, a quick, convenient and cheap food option for Eastlake/Fairview workers! Food options are pretty limited for those of us working around SCCA/FHCRC. If you wanted variety outside the usual fare on the work campus, you’d either have to trek all the way into Amazonland(SLU) or cross the street to pricier options like Daniels, Dukes etc. So happy they opened in this discrete location! Entrance is on Eastlake. A little confusing upon entry because you have to actually go around the counter to the other side to order, but other than that no complaints. They have a nice variety of soups(duh) though I didn’t try any this time. I DID however order the turkey bacon avocado sandwich, which sounds a little hum drum. I partly regretted it afterwards, but was definitely surprised and very pleased once I tried it. The chipotle ranch was a great compliment to the other quality ingredients. I got my sandwich to-go, but I noticed they had nice outdoors seating on a deck that overlooked Lake Union so on a sunny day like today, people can take in a view with their lunch.

If you don’t work on Eastlake, you probably would overlook this location. It’s situated in the south end of the Zymo building, entrance on Eastlake. There is a sandwich board out front. It’s fantastic, so every weekday 12pm-1pm it will be filled with the local work crowd. But shortly before that or after, it’s totally open. The unbelievably savvy service is only eclipsed by the well-executed soup, sandwich and baked goods. Their specialty is in-house prepared meats: barbecue beef, Cuban pork, and such. When lunch places invest in this high labor endeavor, you know they are experts at their craft. Yes, they are professionals and the meat free options are outstanding as well. The bonus attributes are fresh flavored water — self-serve chilled water infused with berries, cucumbers, mint, citrus, etc. quality and fresh — outdoor patio overlooking Lake Union, and breakfast! Chorizo, hay ay. If you are a local or want to pretend to be, know this place. It’s a ridiculously great value, metered parking is always available and has several points of ingress — so easy in/easy out.

Locally owned, and homemade food. Just awesome. They serve breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Latte stand, breakfast sandwiches and wraps, salad bar, and, of course, the daily selection of soups. But maybe what tops it all are the cookies. They are huge, and usually use some kind of candy bar melted into them. Creative homemade cookies that are just sinful! Finally, I love the service — the owners are often working there themselves, and care about the quality of the food. Enjoy it!
