Love this place. Always take my mom here when she’s in town. I always find something cool and unique here.
I like to download a 40% off coupon and keep it in my wallet just in case I find something I like that isn’t on sale.
The bathroom is always clean here which is nice because something about this place always makes me have to poop.

Although I love all this store has to offer, the customer service is terrible. While checking out I asked the cashier if she would throw away my coffee cup, she replied that «the store has very small garbage cans». She then proceeded to tell me I could walk outside and use the garbage in the parking lot. I imagine that they have similar size cans as all other stores, and tossing my cup would have been a simple favor to show you appreciate my business. Instead it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Okay, I have to write my very first review for my experience. I was informed by my bank that my wallet was found and kept at hobby lobby. So I went there to get my wallet back, but the old lady manager there was unwilling to help me. She searched the safe and told me my wallet was not there, she said if it was here it’d be in the safe, then walked away. She did not try to understand my situation and ignored my explanation. I left furiously and came back the following day, with the assistance of another manager, I got my wallet back within 3 minutes.

I’ve been to this location several times and it’s always been a great experience. HUGE selection of pretty much anything you can think of for hobbies and crafting PLUS an amazing selection of home décor, including furniture. Prices are excellent; seems something is always at least 40% off in at least one section. Quality is good; I’ve purchased several items; from Popsicle sticks to furniture and was happy with all.
Employees are friendly and very knowledgable. Check out can be a bit slow but this is pretty much unavoidable anytime people frequently purchase several small items; each priced differently. Might be helpful if they offered containers of some kind so customers could group items according to price for faster checkout.
Return policy is more than fair.
I’ve noticed a security guard; probably because I’ve never seen one in this type of store before. The gentleman was courteous (nodded and smiled) but was otherwise so unobtrusive that I didn’t notice anything more about him.
Another reason I choose to give these guys my business… Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday so (as stated on a sign in their window) employees can spend the day with their families. Yes… I had to read the sign twice to make sure I was reading it correctly… Hobby Lobby owners really do respect their employees and have taken positive action (instead of just talking about it) to strengthen families thus strengthening the whole community.

I don’t really understand how you are supposed to find anything in this store since none of the aisles are labeled. You’d have to ask the sales associates where to find things, and there aren’t many of them. Additionally, not all of them are very friendly.
I’ve bought some yarn from this place and all of them have been very split-​y and drives me up the wall. There are some things that are OK here, but I would go so far as to recommend against buying the yarn.

Are you kidding me? I was literally stalked throughout the store by the security guard. He even walked in front of me while I was viewing items. When I first saw him I smiled with eye contact. I was nothing but polite.
Oh, and an item I was returning from the lynnwood location was upmarked a dollar at this location…
I decided I rather wait a few days to get my item from amazon than purchase from here. (It’s $ 10 cheaper anyways)
If I *have* to go back to hobby lobby I will drive to the farther location in lynnwood. I prefer JoAnn’s or michaels anyways. And I’m an art student in need of constant supplies too…

Really disappointed. I’ve been to this craft warehouse and have had great experiences in the past. What really irked me was how they handled a return for me. I bought a small package of magnets for a home object, and the only way to test the strength of the roll was to open it. Turns out, I need a stronger magnet. When I attempted to return/​exchange the item, I was told that the package had to be in sellable condition, so I was out of luck. Tell me, how am I supposed to open a vacuum sealed item, then reseal it so you can sell it? Ridiculous. I’ll shop elsewhere from now on if you are going to be so nitpicky about a less than $ 5 return.

Not a fan.
There’s too much cheapish looking stuff, and not enough quality to offset it.
If you’re a hoarder, or need to decorate a motel or a church lobby it would be fine… but otherwise you’ll find better elsewhere.

Awesome Hobby Lobby has everything you need for your crafting pleasure along with items to decorate your house, plan a wedding, and take classes to learn a new hobby.
This location is big and has a fantastic selection.
I love the really large selection of scrapbooking paper and accessories. I use them for making cards too.
The framing department is always 50% off.

I loved Hobby Lobby before it replaced the Kmart on Aurora… But not I love it more. I love just walking around looking at all the home décor stuff! Frames… Seasonal decorations… That’s my first and only stop!

I was so excited that Hobby Lobby was opening on Aurora here in Shoreline. Jo-​Anns was the closest to me (3 minute walking distance), but they aren’t so top notch for me.
This Hobby Lobby will make your DIY, Home décor loving self go CRAZYYY!!! It’s Freaken huge compared to Jo’Anns! I love all the selections and prices! Plus, can’t go wrong with the 40% off coupon on their website. You don’t even have to print it. just pull it up on your phone.
When I was checking out yesterday, it was so busy, therefore the lines were backed up. This lady who seemed like the manager was directing people to cashiers with short lines. Oh, she was so helpful and sweet.
I definitely choose Hobby Lobby over Jo-Ann’s!

The shop is pretty clean and organized. It reminded me of a Michael’s craft store. There was plenty of parking up in front and the store wasn’t too busy on a Friday afternoon.
I came in and bought some needle point craft packs. Their store seems a little more expensive than Michael’s but I had a 40% off coupon. Even so, I ended up spending a lot because I always walk out with more stuff than I had intended to buy.
The staff at this store seem pretty nice. However, I asked this one lady a question but she seemed kind of crotchety and annoyed that I had stopped her from going about her job. She didn’t seem friendly at all. lol.
