You walk in and have to take an elevator to the lobby. Interesting. The front desk staff asked how he could help. I said I was checking in and he said on one second and took a minute to do other tasks. Parking is 35 a night… a bit on the steep end. WiFi is 10.95. I suppose my WiFi charge is paying for the customer to my right when they gave him free beer and wine for two hours on the top floor. I understand perks for loyalty but not at others expense. On a high note, the air was free. Or they forgot to charge me for it. Either way… Winning!

Poor service and inconsistent policy on guests. Valet was unprofessional. Concierge desk is unhelpful. Only positive is rooms were clean. I would never stay there again.

The hotel is very clean and well kept. Staff are friendly. I was traveling alone so my room size was just right. If I had my family with me it would have been very tight. I ordered room service for dinner. It came quickly and the presentation was nice. I had the burger and it was actually pretty good. My only complaints are about the noise levels which were definitely noticeable. Both from outside(i.e. cars, traffic, etc) and inside(hear ppl talking in hallway, doors opening & closing). And the cost of parking in the WAC garage… $ 34.50! All in all it is a decent hotel if you are staying downtown.

While the hotel ammenities were good, there are a few things that prevent the Inn at the WAC from being truly great. The first issue is the noise. There was obviously very little soundproofing done on the rooms and anything that was going on in the hallway could be heard pretty clearly. This can be especially problematic if you have a room by the elevator. Those rooms have to deal with the tone from the elevator and people getting on and off. The other issue was the small bathrooms. It would have been alright with just one person, however when shared between my wife and I, the room felt pretty cramped. The gym was top notch, but I felt it was odd that there was a charge to use it for guests. I assumed that at the hotel that is based around a gym you would get to enjoy it as part of your stay, but that was not the case. Overall I think the WAC was a good option for a short weekend trip. The location can’t be beat and the rooms were overall up to date and clean.

Clean and centrally located, the Inn at the WAC is a safe bet if you’re traveling to SEA for business. The major point of this hotel is unlimited access to all the sports facilities the Washington Athletic Club has to offer, including a fantastic pool on the 6th floor. If you like working out while traveling, this is the hotel for you. If you prefer a hotel closer to nightlife with good food options for breakfast/dinner, maybe you should look at other options. Hotel personnel is polite and prompt; the one time we had an issue(slow drain in the bathtub), it was fixed promptly. You can get food at the Sports Cafè on the 8th floor, but I suggest you get food outside of the hotel. Just a few blocks from Pike Place market and some of the major shopping chains and stores. Like it often happens to downtown areas in many US cities, this part of town, however, gets eerily quiet in the evening.
