We were welcomed in by the sweetest, most genuinely caring woman who was baking in the back. She warmly asked us if we were hungry, and offered us freshly baked pork buns. We couldn’t resist. It felt as if we were waiting in an old friends kitchen as she brought the buns to us. Needless to say, they were amazing, as were the bubble teas and savory rice cakes we couldn’t resist. Do yourself a favor and stop by this unassuming quaint place– it’s worth it 100 times over. Cheers!

Man i wanted to be first to review this :(Back in SF there were these desert places that specialize Asian deserts with assorted arrays fresh fruits. Predominately using mango, blueberry, cantaloupe and honeydew. Thought this would be it, but now maybe i should open one. Mango sago was awesome! tasted like a Mange juice with heavy pulp, without being to sweet. Most mango juice would be on the tad sweeter side. Now if only you can get then to cut out the ice without raising the price. hm-mm?

A new ice cream shop opened up in the International District/Chinatown recently. After a mediocre dim sum brunch this weekend I needed something to kill the taste left in my mouth so I went to check it out and found out they have more than just ice cream. They also offer fresh juices, smoothies, slushy drinks and a few other beverage type items. I went in wanting ice cream, but the watermelon thing they were making smelled and looked amazing, though I stuck to my guns and had a scoop of the blueberry cheesecake ice cream in a cup, $ 1.99. I asked if they made their own ice cream and was told the farm makes it, which farm I have no idea but some farm somewhere is where they get their ice cream. Besides blueberry cheesecake they also had raspberry cheesecake, mint chocolate chip, vanilla, strawberry, and a few others that I forget. In trying to be like the frozen yogurt craze going on they also offer toppings for additional $.50 and you can pick from chocolate, berries, pineapple, mango, red bean, blueberries, jelly, peach and a few others. Next time I stop in I’m trying either the mango or watermelon slush or maybe the mix berry slush or a smoothie or who knows what I’ll get. As you see I’ll have a hard time trying to decide with all the options they have.
