Jack’s Pay-Less Auto Parts

I’ve been getting my car parts there for years. Guaranteed lower price than dealers and local auto parts chains.
I recently had my timing belt changed and waited a couple of months to write a review. Their mechanic, Freddy, did an awesome job. No problems yet related to the service he provided. I had a couple of other things done after. Honest mechanic and competitive price quotes.
Difficult to find honest mechanics, but I think I found one. Hope he sticks around.

It looks like it’s closed but it’s not — they still do brakes but the other 90% of the building (including all the groceries from the 50’s) is closed and the lights are off. However, they still do brakes and do them fast and at a reasonable price. According to them, the new light rail line put them out of business (plus it took ½ their parking lot). Would come back to get brakes…

I am glad this place finally closed. Different prices when you call and when you go to pick up. Rude staff (they used to be nice) and they sell garbage. Those old clothes of boxes? Throw them away! Or put them in those bins at grocery stores! Stop selling your old children’s clothes nobody wants them! The quality has really changed, I don’t really buy anything but parts anyway the food is old and has been there for years, since I was a kid.

What a trip. I expected to see David Lynch wandering the aisles of hundreds of exotic beers and random dollar store items. The helpful man behind the counter sold Geoff some spark plug wires and helped explain the differences between the various Polish beers we were checking out. Impulse purchase item by the cash register? A random selection of $ 5 shoes.
I called the other day:
«um… hello? are you there?»
-«yeah, hi, I was calling to see how late you are open…»
«Why?»
-”…to buy stuff”
«like what?»
-«beer, and maybe some food or something»
«where are you calling from?»
-«uh… Seattle»
«ok, 6pm»
