Minus a star for the overpriced pieces.($ 110 cotton tee is fine if the money is going towards ethical labor practices, or organic cotton, or not sure what else. Just, y’know, something.) Minus a star because I don’t like talking to salespeople while I shop. Some people might love it, but for me it is distracting. I don’t want to chat about vacations, or husbands, or laugh about this ‘n that. I need to concentrate. It’s not a cocktail party, nor is it a neighborhood social. I’m just trying to get through my day and on to the next thing.

This is a lovely store with nicely designed clothing. I purchased a $ 249 steel colored cotton tunic shirt and was very happy with it until I noticed after the third laundering that there was underarm staining in an orange shade. I was so perplexed because I do not overly perspire and use a name brand deoderant/antipersperant. Plus, I have not had an issue like this with other clothing. I took the item in and was told in no uncertain terms that this occurrence was not as a result of their product or was it their problem. I reiterated the fact that I did not treat this item in an out of the ordinary fashion and I was upset because it was expensive. The store manager stood her ground with no validation of the situation or apology made — needless to say, there was no recompense.
