Not the kind of place you want to visit. The service was non-existing and the food was so-so. I decided to email the manager(Ken Harper) to provide feedback and asked him to call me back. I’m still waiting for him to return my call. It does not surprise me of the lack of response from Jimmy’s on First. There a lot of better places you can check out. Don’t waste your time.

Pretty lousy service. Receptionist is impersonal and just not nice. They wouldn’t let me sit at the bar and eat breakfast so I could watch the US open. Everyone working there seems sad and depressed. Maybe it’s all the rain and clouds or something. Stayed at the attached hotel for 3 nights and ate here several times. Never saw a manager once. They serve your food and never come back to check on you. On the final day of the US Open every TV was on a Monster Truck race. They should fire everyone and start over beginning with non present manager!

We stayed at the hotel and came a few times to this restaurant. We found the bartender to be very rude today. Service was terrible. Potatoes were terrible. I did ask them for extra crisp but they were just over done and terrible. We were literally served a glass of orange juice with a crack all the way around it and then they charged is for two. We waited forever for our server to bring our check but she didn’t bring us the part to sign to room so we waited another 15 for that. My husband is extremely patient almost all the time but he hates this place.

Menu and food: The menu selection was pretty extensive without being too overwhelming — they have something for everyone ranging from healthy salads to rich mac and cheese. I ordered the fish tacos which were really tasty– not dry which tends to be the case for fish tacos when they aren’t battered and fried. The green chili sauce and papaya salsa were very tasty and spicy! They also have Happy Hours — which change depending on game days since its across the street from a stadium. Service: Really attentive without being overly«in the way». Both the hostess and the server did a great job on checking up on me throughout my visit. Ambiance: Comfortable seating. TV’s by the bar area at an appropriate volume. Location: This restaurant was attached to the hotel where I stayed, The Silver Cloud. There is a prominent street entrance and one from inside the hotel lobby. Be advised that there isn’t a standard parking lot but valet parking is available.

Came here for breakfast before our flight home. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancakes, which were fine. I got the Jimmys breakfast. My eggs were not done correctly at first and they fixed them, but I also did not get bacon. The dish has the choice of bacon and chx sausage or ham. I told the waitress I wanted it with ham and she must have thought I didn’t want bacon or something. Matcha latte was 4.75 and it was such a coarse grind– couldn’t even drink it. It was a sandy texture. The meals were extremely overpriced and not great. Should have just gone to the ihop!

Double play veggie burger was great. I had to eat half of it with a fork because it was so much food. I would definitely get another one without the double play.

Food and Kitchen have it together, but let’s see about having a Manager on duty all the time, and oversee the slacker wait staff! Instead of seating us, they were shooting baskets. 4 of the staff were yacking while watching a TV. Uh? too busy? We were in a room, and tried calling for room service. No one answered. 7pm too late? Not really excited about going back, but I can say that once we got food the next morning, it was very good. But we had them add vegetables to the omelette. They only offered a cheese /bacon, so we paid a buck for adding asparagus. Too much of a stretch to offer a veggie omelette guys? Also, their menu is much smaller than previously. Too bad. It was a great place once.

Writing this based on the best bacon Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my entire life and the awesome happy hour menu! Was working at the Century Link stadium and this place was conveniently across the street! Got here around 6PM on a couple nights and there was always a place to sit, waiters were attentive, and the atmosphere is very laid back and cozy. Like I said, happy hour menu is awesome, which includes bacon Mac and cheese(a must), quesadillas, burgers(coworkers said it was delicious) and salads, upon many other things. The beer is cheap as well, and offer a great variety including my favorite the Lucille IPA! Definitely a good happy hour spot to try out!

Pretty decent place. A little on the spendy side based on portion size, but the location is unbeatable for games. Passable draft beer selection with some good local brews. The burgers are pretty good, but when I ordered mine cooked rare it was really soupy. The bun had no chance with that much moisture. Can’t say I’ve had a bad meal though.

Wow… came on Xmas day. The best calamari we’ve ever had… excellent seafood soup and rib eye steak. Would never have guessed a place next to the stadium could have such excellent and well priced food.

We were staying at the hotel attached to this restaurant and decided to stop in for dinner. I was seriously impressed. Especially since the reviews I read were not to great. I had the Filet Mignon medium-rare and my mom the Cobb salad. The flavor of the steak was awesome, had great drinks. Definitely recommend.

Adequate. That’s about the best I can say. We asked the hostess how long for seats. «10 minutes.» 35 minutes later we were seated. We were served food, but given no utensils, and the server left our table so fast we didn’t have even a moment to ask. So we sat there for 3 – 4 minutes, waiting until we could get her attention again. An appetizer we ordered was never served, and the dishes we did get were not prepared the way we asked. The food was pretty good. I really liked the bacon cheeseburger I had, but my wife’s Cobb Salad looked like it wasn’t even worthy of being one of those pre-packed salads you get at 7 – 11. Definitely, not worth it. Overall, I think the problems I had with our experience here came down to a lack of attention to detail by the staff. Not just the«little details.» No, I mean any detail.

I happened to walk into this place to waste some time and unfortunately that is not all I wasted. The beverages were fine but the food… It’s hard to explain. Lacking I m any real flavor there was nothing I could do to make it taste better. I figured being so close to the fields that the food would have taste to it, but alas no. Staff was friendly enough and seating comfortable. Also free wifi

This is right across the street from both Safeco field, home of the Seattle Mariners, and Century Link field where the Seahawks play. It’s very convenient if you are going to a game and staying at the hotel or if like myself, you work at one of the venues and need a place to have breakfast first thing in the morning and nothing else is open. The first time I had french toast. Tasty but they never give you enough syrup and had to keep trying to flag down a server. What is it when there is a woman dining alone you can just ignore her? Second visit I had a mushroom and white cheddar omelette which was very good. I appreciated that it wasn’t so big it was impossible to eat. Eggs were fluffy, the hashbrowns cooked nicely and they had rye for toast. It’s a hotel dining room but they do a decent job. My only complaint is while breakfast is reasonable, the other meals are very expensive.

My review is only for drinks and a few desserts. I did not eat here. We came here after a Mariner’s game(on Mother’s Day which was PACKED). We were waiting out the crowd to call a car and decided to do so at Jimmy’s. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn’t too busy and they were able to seat the six of us. The staff was very friendly, there were a lot of TV’s, great view of the stadium and the drinks were tasty(with clever names). I was pleased!

Very close to Safeco Field, which is probably why the drinks are so expensive. I had the pomegranate lemon drop. It was tasty. My hubby ordered a beer and crab dip. The service was good and the dip was good but there wasn’t much of it.

Good but not great. Respectable bar and grill across from the stadiums. Prices a little on the high side.

Located on the first floor of the Silver Cloud Hotel, Jimmy’s is ideally located for either jubilant celebration or crushing defeat. We stopped here for dinner once during our vacation. We were seated with a view of Safeco, the sidewalks bustling with crowds gathering in the ticket lines, and the inside humming with conversations and ballgames on TV. My wife and I decided to share soup, steak, salad and fish. Everything was decent, but a bit pricey. Which makes sense, given the location. Our service was friendly, but visits were few and far between. Overall, everything was okay, but nothing special. There are better options close by, but not within stumbling distance. EDIT: My wife loved her potato soup. So an extra star for that.

Jimmy’s on First is a convenient stop when staying at the hotel. Staff is friendly and service was great. The food however. It wasn’t great quality, tasted like it was pre-cooked. Dessert especially. Price wasn’t bad so it was still a pleasant experience.
