I’d been struggling with acne since my early teens and had made peace with the fact that I’d have it until I started getting wrinkles (and, I’m sure, for a time after that too!). I’ve been seeing derms off and on for probably 10 years and was always given scripts for harsh oil drying creams, washes, etc., antibiotics, and, even Acutane (Just say ‘no’ to that, btw).
But it took Dr. Knox all of 2 minutes to diagnose me properly and put me on meds that WORK! Turns out, the cause of my acne had been misdiagnosed for years and by multiple doctors. I’ve been on his regimen for a little over a year and my skin has never looked so good! It’s so good that I’ve set up an appointment with him to talk about OTHER skin problems that I never had the energy (or appointment time) to tackle because all I could talk about was acne.
Highly recommended.

Really friendly office and Dr. Knox really took the time to be as thorough as possible. I can’t recommend highly enough.
Even though the problem turned out to be a very «baby wart» (ew) he took care of it within 5 minutes. It was so fast. he then checked my moles to make sure none of them were cause for concern. He really didn’t need ot do this, but he took the time to make sure everything skin wise was okay and I had all my questions and queries answered before the end of our appointment. he was very personable and definitely knew what he was doing. when my hubs saw the small little incision Dr. Knox had made for my baby wart, he was really impressed, saying Dr. Knox had really made sure not to take off any more skin than was necessary to get the virus. If i have any other skinissues, I will be sure to visit Dr. Knox again. he was really great.
Also, if you have an appointment in the first hill medical center, the parking is discounted. unexpected surprise!

Tissue removal doesn’t sound pleasant, and I guess it’s not. But, Dr. Knox makes it as pleasant as possible.
Unfortunately, I’ve been seeing dermatologists for years for minor slicing and dicing. Dr. Knox has been the best.
Here’s why:
*He’s an entertaining conversationalist.
*I didn’t feel the numbing shots – at all. This is the first time I haven’t felt the numbing needle. It’s not that painful to begin with, but who likes shots?
*The procedure was gentle and fast.
*The site of the procedure only hurt for the first day. Generally, it stings slightly for 3 days.
*His methods didn’t interfere with my daily habits (i.e. no shower restrictions, the site of the procedure is almost unnoticeable).
*The facility is clean and pleasant (magazines, decorations, spacious examination rooms).
*His receptionist was friendly and attentive.
I’m ecstatic that I found Dr. Knox, and I think you will be too if you give him a try.
