Liontail Cycles

I found Henry at Liontail Cycles while researching an e-​bike conversion for my 20 year old mountain bike. After my first chat with him over the phone, it was obvious he was very knowledgeable about e-​bikes and e-​bike conversions. On top of that, he was very low pressure, and seemed more interested in going over what I was looking for and educating me on e-​bikes, instead of what product he could sell me. We went over 2 or 3 different options, and Henry took the time to explain the pros and cons of each.
Once the work began on the bike, a few issues came up (it is a 20 year old bike), but they were handled deftly, and much of it was done for no additional charge. I never felt in the dark about what was going on with my bike. Anything that surprised me was a good surprise — like getting a upgraded grip because Henry said he ‘just didn’t like how the other one felt.’ Little things like that made me feel that this shop was about getting it done right, rather than just getting it done.
In the end, I have sweet ride that is even better than I could have imagined when I first set out on my DIY conversion quest. I’m sure I would have managed the DIY eventually, but I doubt I’d match the quality of Liontail’s work.
Would not hesitate to use Liontail’s services again. Highly recommend.

My husband found a flyer posted at a nearby grocery store for this family bike outfitter, so I checked out his site and emailed him when I was ready to transform my old mountain bike into a longtail. He responded quickly, gave me informed answers to my questions and soon I had an awesome bike to carry my two kids around town. I live close to his shop, so he even came to my house and picked up and dropped off my bike. He is very service-​oriented and I know that he will be available to help out and answer questions if I ever have problems with my setup in the future.
