We were able to not only go for the 2 hour massage package but were able to stay over night. We appreciated the kindness and professional demeanor of the staff. We stayed in the 3^rd floor room for the night, it was very nice. Only negative of whole stay is that we had to go to second floor for restroom. We had massages on second floor then relaxed on first floor in Art room after massages. Their homemade body scrub is wonderful, and the soaker tub fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My wife and enjoyed an evening in the Sky Suite. I called on short notice and Mary Garza was able to get us in. I was in a great deal of Sciatic pain, She relaxed me, worked out the knots and stretched out my joints. When she was done I was 95% pain free. My wife LOVED her massage, she felt relaxed and invigorated. The 2 person tub was perfect for soaking in after. Great people, caring and warm. We will be back asap!

Amazing experience. We did the couples package in the Art Suite. Staff was very friendly, facility was very clean and massage was excellent. Certainly will go back.

Beautiful and unique facility with many different rooms and options available, appointments may be booked for my crazy schedule, and the therapists are very professional and accommodating to my needs.

This was a first time experience for me and my significant other and it was something I will remember for a long time. The Little Red Day Spa had a fantastic and sensual atmosphere. The staff was friendly and professional. We went for the Couples getaway in the Art Suite. The massages were amazing, we only did 60 minutes but wish we had signed up for 90. After the massage we felt comfortable and relaxed. Our practitioners brought us each a glass of wine and we spent the next hour indulging in the body paints, mud scrub and hot tub. This was a wonderful experience leaving both of us feeling refreshed and renewed. Will be back for more and strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a short romantic getaway.

I sent an email privately and never got a response, so thought it best to post here. I was a bit disappointed with what my husband and I got when we came. The previous couple were running behind so we had to wait for almost 30min in the lobby (when we had rushed to leave lunch to be on time and received no phone call notifying us of our appt being pushed back). Once we got in there everything was great except one of the hot tubs didn’t work and I had booked the room with two (at a higher cost). I had been excited about a couples date day but don’t think I got the service I paid for.

I brought my fiancé here for a birthday surprise and he LOVED it! We were greeted by a very nice lady when we walked in and she immediately served us wine. After lounging for a few minutes we were brought into the art room which was large and romantic. The massages were incredible and we had a lot of fun with the mud body paint. I highly suggest bringing a beverage of your choice to enjoy in the hot tub :) the day was very relaxing and I would recommend this place to anyone. Ignore the bad reviews about the décor… if you can’t handle a nude painting then go somewhere else. I on the other hand will be visiting this place again soon!

The ambience when you first walk in sets the tone. We were greeted by one of our therapists Mike, who was warm and welcoming. He then introduced us to our other «very pleasant therapist» Stevie. They took us to the Art Suite and went over every detail. I won’t go into detail, because you just need to see it through your own eyes the first time. I chose Stevie. She gave me the most relaxing massage ever, and by the look on my wifes face after, Mike must have been just as magical. I would highly recomend the Little Red Day Spa and the 90 min massage. It’s that good!
We had the one hour massage and one hour of alone time to ourselves in the magnificent suite. We really enjoyed painting each others bodies with the moisturizing mud and after washing it off, it leaves your skin so soft and silky. We could have stayed all day and we will definitely return soon.

I’ve been to my fair share of couples massages around the area and I can easily say Little Red Day Spa does it best! I mean, it truly was a unique experience! I had bought my boyfriend a gift certificate for the grand suite that we tried to use on a random Tuesday so he called around 5pm and we were able to come in at 9pm same day! Although the grand suite was booked we took the sky suite and the owner Jeff was super accommodating by offering us like everything else to use plus a bottle of wine! Walked in, our masseuses Michelle and Mike were both extremely kind and communicative before the massage. I enjoyed the massage and I enjoyed the spa itself! I really enjoyed that they let us bring our own wine and gave us extra time to relax and enjoy the facility and each others company :) only vice was that the tv didn’t work but I didn’t care too much! Needless to say we’ll be back. The updated tent suite looks so beautiful!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways…
First, after reading some reviews, I must say that the spa is really easy to find — a straight shot off of airport way. Now, upon our arrival, hubby and I were seated by the fireplace & offered some lovely wine, which we gladly accepted. We were then shown into the beautiful tent room, had some time to finish said wine, then into the nice and warm massage tables. For the next hour, I was suspended somewhere in between Nirvana and Utopia; Michelle has the touch of an angel… Getting the kinks out of places I never knew had kinks — like the spot right below your clavicle — you know, where your dog sometimes licks, but you pay zero attention to otherwise?! Now, another telling sign of total bliss, was that my husband, aka sir talksalot was SILENT. Completely quiet during his entire massage! That in itself is so telling! Thank you, Alexis and Michelle! We’ll be back!

I must say the next morning we had nothing but good things to say about this place. We had been to the Little Red Day Spa before but for an event. We knew it was a rustic feel but had know idea how comfy this place was .
I booked a Same Day appointment with Mary whom was a delight to speak with. We were greeted by name at the door by Alex and Michelle shortly followed. We were the last appointment for the day but there was no skimping or rushing. They allowed us the store or food in a refrigerated location while we enjoyed our massage in another location. I assume ordinarily we have would’ve receiver our massage in the Grande Suite, but the Sky Suite was LOVELY there was a beautiful private bath and a sauna. We we were very impressed.
Michelle and Alex provided the best massage I have ever received and that is a huge compliment from my husband who has back issues.
We then were lead to the Grande Suite to enjoy the rest of our evening alone. We’re we had the best time. Made available to you are massage tables, an AWESOME Jacuzzi tub, paints, mud, salts and a Rain Shower to wash it all off. We left relaxed rejuvenated and will definitely be returning. For the price of $ 275 + tip it was an awesome evening.

Booked the Sky Suite (265 +tip) for my boyfriend’s birthday.
Firstly, the owner Jeff was helpful when I was trying to book the appointment. We also met him after our appointment and he seems like a nice guy.
For the place itself, the interior looks cheap and a few updates on the décor could really help. The Sky lounge is awkward. It’s a small, long room with the massage tables awkwardly aligned. There is a little sauna box and a TV in the room with a bathroom attached with a large tub. There was also bottled water provided for us, but one bottle was already drunken out of.
Massage: I requested a Swedish massage and he requested deep tissue. But neither of us felt like there was any pressure to our massages. The massage oil came in bottles like the squirt condiment bottles in diners. I am used to scented oils, these were nonscented. It felt and smelled like I was just being oiled up with vegetable oil. Oh, and I was OILED up. I have never had that much oil put on me before during a massage, I was basted like a turkey. For the «head massage» part, the masseuse basically just put more oil on her hands, and played with my hair. No scalp massage, nothing. Just oiling up my hair to match my oily body. But it was kind of cute I guess.
My boyfriend’s massage was also interesting. He told me that there were many times during the massage where his masseuse rested her belly on his forehead while she was leaning over to massage him. That, I found to just be hilarious.
After our massage we were given an hour to use our «suite» at our disposal. The little sauna was fun. We felt pretty greasy so we wanted to take advantage of the large bath tub and scrub off the oil. BUT, we were warned that the hot water tank is not large enough to fill the tub with hot water, so the tub can only be filled with warm water up to halfway. What? What’s the point of being able to fill a tub halfway with only lukewarm water? They also pointed out «body paint» that we can use on each other for fun in the bath tub. There were 4 different colors of paint in plastic cups that looked dried up and obviously used by suite occupants from earlier appointments. There were also marks of paint around the tub, suggesting that the area was not well cleaned. The bathroom did have homemade sugar scrub as well as shampoo and conditioner, which was nice. We ultimately ended up filling the tub as much as we could (a little less than halfway) with lukewarm water and tried to scrub off as much oil as we could.
The best part of the experience was going next door to a wine tasting room and taste testing all of the wine. We acquired a little buzz. The owners of that establishment are fun to talk to and some of their wines are really good. We ended up buying a white and a port.
It was quite an experience for us, one we laugh about. But I think next time, I’ll book a couple’s massage elsewhere.

Stepped on glass in the hot tub and they only took off $ 20 off a $ 288 day…
Really awesome spot but really shady. Felt taken advantage of since we are a young couple from out of town.

Feeling a little blue from the weather and work stress, I decided to book a couples massage for me and my boo. I searched high and low and finally decided that LRDS was the place to go. All the glowing reviews, a peruse of the website, and the reasonable prices tipped the scale and I was lucky enough to get an appointment on the same day! After booking online (+++) I received a phone call confirmation and we were all set!
The spa was easy to find and parking was a breeze. We were greeted by the owner, Jeff, who was super welcoming. The atmosphere was very relaxing and our LMPs were easy to talk to and informative. And since we were the only appointments of the evening, we were upgraded to the Grand Suite! It was definitely a surprise and a treat for both of us. The massages were wonderful and the time to undwind and relax after our treatments was amazing. It was nice to be able to settle back into the real world after a massage and not be rushed out the door.
Overall I would highly recommend LRDS to anyone looking for a quiet little escape and some quality time with a loved one. We have already given business cards to our friends and will definitely be back again. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of visiting this spa recently. First and foremost, the staff is great! Jeff, is very personable and makes you feel right at home from the 1^st meeting. It was a great experience having such a big room (Grand suite) with high ceilings. It is was great to have a hot tub in the room.
The only drawbacks, the hot tub was not hot enough for our liking and the room seemed to be a little cluttered with unrelated products. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely go again

We had a nice time at the Little Red Day Spa, but there were a few improvements that could have made it better.
First, we were booked for 1pm, but the previous appointment ran over, so we had to sit and wait for 10 — 15 minutes in the lobby. This in turn caused US to run over, and when we exited, the next couple was sitting there waiting. Seems like maybe they need to budget more time in between for overages. This also gives me pause regarding how well they clean the room between clients.
Second, I told my massage therapist, who was VERY nice, that I preferred a firmer touch, but he was not very firm. It was a nice, relaxing massage, but I wouldn’t specifically request him again as I don’t think he helped my muscles much (outside of relaxing).
Third, no one explained to us how the hot tubs worked, so we were super confused in the large tub, pushing every button in there. After we got out, we discovered, tucked away on the shelves, an instruction sheet stating that you should NOT push any buttons but the two (unidentifiable without the sheet) buttons that control the jets — whoops. Would have been more helpful to know that at the start.
Fourth, we read on the site that there would be robes, and this was confirmed on the instruction sheet we found, which claimed the robes could be found in the armoire, but there were only belts in there. No robes. We just walked around naked, but this would have made me feel a bit uncomfortable sitting on any of the upholstered furniture.
Finally, we were told we could make ourselves tea, which was on the aforementioned shelves. I kind of thought, this being a spa, there might be a selection of tea, or at least some green or decaf tea. There was not. There were two big boxes of English Breakfast and one tin of Earl Grey. I opened the Earl Grey and it was empty. I admit this is a pithy complaint but I am still bitter about the Earl Grey.
According to the star guide, 3 stars on Unilocal = A-​OK. That seems accurate. It was nice to get away and I feel like the spa has a lot of good ideas/​great intentions, but it just didn’t do it for me. We might give it another shot one day, we might not.

Four stars for the massage; two for the ambiance and overall experience. Other Unilocalers describe the space as ‘beautiful,’ which perhaps it is if your idea of beauty extends to New Age stores you find in malls that are draped in Tibetan prayer flags and sell tarot cards and fairy paintings.
We were in Seattle for an event so we booked the earliest available appointment. To our disappointment, we were told that the Grand Suite was booked — but while there wouldn’t be a hot tub, there was a shower to use post-​massage. Perhaps I should have clarified, but apparently this did not mean we could use a shower in the room, or even on the same floor — but rather we were welcome to traipse down three flights of stairs in our robes, through the public waiting area, past waiting guests, and to the shower in the main bathroom. But don’t worry, we’d be supplied with sexxxxy body products for our romantic shower adjacent to the staff kitchen.
We arrived on-​time, only to be told that they were running behind by 15 minutes. (Not uncommon, judging by other Unilocal reviews.) The staff were friendly and super apologetic, to their credit.
While we waited, we were offered a glass of wine and left to contemplate the art in the waiting area: photo-​realistic paintings of Pagan orgy scenes that were not framed, or even mounted, but rather adhered to the wall with copious quantities of masking tape.
As 15 minutes lapsed into 30 and a Gypsy Kings CD played on a the ghetto blaster, I took in the fake portable fireplace and observed the fine layer of dust and grime that seemed to coat every surface.
Eventually, we were called up to the Moroccan Room for our massages. Unfortunately, I didn’t get either of the practitioner’s names, but the were both absolutely wonderful, and the hour passed by in no time.
Though we had booked the package and had an additional hour to stay and relax or use the tiny downstairs shower or whatever, we needed to get to our event and on with our day. I’m not 100% sure I’d want to lounge on the fabric surfaces in the massage room anyway, given the state of the lobby.
Overall, I feel like it’s a great concept that’s not particularly well-​executed. Which is too bad, because again, the massages were top-​notch. A few fairly inexpensive modifications (ie picture frames) and a bit of a clean could really go a long way.

My dear husband surprised me with couples massages here for our one year wedding anniversary! In true military fashion, he got us there early so of course another couple was still using the grand suite! Fortunately the waiting area is comfortable and the staff is just lovely. The manager offered me a glass of white wine, which I happily accepted.
We relaxed/​waited a short time before being guided to and given a tour of our suite. The suite is awesome! There are two hot tubs, massage tables, a seating area with glasses and everything that you would need for a picnic should you decide to bring one. There is mud that you can apply and let dry, body paints, a shower, and a small restroom.
We met our masseuses, which explained their techniques and left us to undress. I chose Ishvan to work on me, and he was amazing! I am usually super tense during massages, but he put me at ease and worked everything out for me. He’s a great communicator and didn’t seem to mind that I was chatty during my massage! My husband loved his massage. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and we will definitely return with a picnic next time!

My gf and I came here twice. First to their eastlake location and just recently to their new SoDo location.
Both experiences were amazing! We did the couples massage package. The masseuses were very knowledgeable and left both of us feeling relaxed. The extra hour in the spa is also a nice treat. Our last visit was on our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift.
My only tip is to not go with the Moroccan room, you have to walk down a flight of stairs and through the lobby to shower which felt awkward.

Booked a couples massage for their Grand suite (which they also rent out on Airbnb). Their waiting room was decorated with soft images of some sort of greco-​roman coupling, the employees straightened up the harem/​opium-​den décor of the room for a few minutes after the last couple/​group had left and we headed in.
There were two masseuses, one deep tissue massage and the other with a more «flowing”/stretch massage, both did an amazing job then left for an hour so we could salt-​scrub off the oil, shower up, and further unwind in the hot tub with the wine we brought. Sadly, the grand tub was broken during our visit, but the «small» one was still large for two.
It was a great time, and definitely a unique space with a great vibe from the management. They also throw (slightly racy) events in another area of the industrial space, but we haven’t attended any of the Halloween, NYE, or monthly events. I’m glad they’ve moved to a great space well-​suited to their business, I’ll happily book again.
Edit: Regarding the low-​star never-​visited review of LRDS, the author of that one should probably mention that they are an employee of the Rainier-​located competitor they supposedly «discovered». That doesn’t make your establishment look better, along with the glowing review of your own business.

I can’t think of a better word to describe our experience here other than «Amazing.»
We scheduled the 2 hour Couples Getaway in Little Red Day Spa’s grand suite for our anniversary. We had heard good things, and an hour long side by side couples massage and then hour unwind sounded like a great way to kick off our celebration of 4 years together.
First off I have to say, for being in an «industrial space» (The old Rainier Brewing/Tully’s building) they have made their space charming, luxurious, and beyond comfortable. Teas and water await you in the entrance way/​waiting room, and at least in the grand suite we had a HUGE room to ourselves with all the amenities — wine glasses and tableware for a picnic if you care to bring one, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, salt scrubs, body paints, an ornate pillowed bed, a rain shower, and the best of all — the whirlpool jacuzzi!
But i’m getting ahead of myself. You start your session out with the massage. Both our therapists were friendly, professional, and made us first time massage-​getters super comfortable and at ease. They worked us head to toe — my practitioner Ishvon specializing in deep tissue massage combined with stretching left me feeling like butter. Chris seemed equally languid after his session with Megan. Once the hour was over (it went by so fast!) we had the run of the room. The salt scrub left my skin feeling amazing, the hair products were superb, the hot tub upped the dreamy factor of the experience, and the pillowed framed bed was perfect to relax in comfy bathrobes while drinking the wine brought.
I really can’t get over how perfect of an experience our time at Little Red Day spa was. We left glowing and refreshed. I really can’t wait to book another getaway here when the right special occasion comes along.
