We bought our wedding bands from Sholdt this past Spring and were very glad to have done so! They did an awesome job on both bands and thought their hours were a bit inconvenient for our schedule it was really great getting to meet with Kalee one on one and see our options versus being in a crowded jewelry store. The shop dog, Pearl, is also really sweet and it just ads an element of comfort to what’s normally, in my opinion, an awkward experience.
Because we had bought my fiancée’s engagement ring elsewhere and it had a half band of channel set diamonds Kalee promised that they could match it so that both bands line up. My now-​wife was so excited when she got it that she didn’t notice that the Sholdt band was a few diamonds short. So she sent Kalee a message a few months later about it and we got a reply the next day that it was no problem. Even though Kalee was out of town she had the woman covering for her take care of it and a week later it was fixed up and perfect for no additional charge.
We’ve only been married a couple of months but we’re still really happy with our bands and were especially happy to have supported a local business that takes pride in its work and is not trying to rip you off in their pricing.

The ring we ordered looks exactly like we wanted. So they did great on that end but it was too large. Due to how elaborate it was I had to pay to get it resized. Which I completely understood. Then when I got the ring back it was still too large and through the emails with them they kept blaming me for it. When I asked my options they told me i would once again have tip pay more to get it fixed. When i emailed them about this I never heard back from them. That was a month and a half ago. Every day i story my wedding band will fall off.

My fiancé and I had my engagement ring made at Sholdt, and we couldn’t be happier. The work is perfection. Kalee made the experience fun and stress free. She was very quick to respond to my emails when I had questions along the way, and when I went against her original suggestion on sizing for the ring she was very understanding (not at all «I told you so-​ish») when I later had to have the ring sized down to what she originally suggested. Definitely checkout Sholdt. If you decide to go with them you won’t be disappointed — I LOVE mine!!!

My husband bought a Sholdt design ring for my engagement ring from a local jewelry store in Boulder, CO. Five years later we found ourselves living in Seattle, and my engagement ring randomly separated where they size the ring (in the back). I contacted Kalee – and as soon as I could drive to her, she and her staff fixed my ring, and rhodium plated my engagement ring, and wedding ring for free while my son and I had a coffee.
This is a prime example why when you buy locally from a family-​run business, you can guarantee yourself a happy purchase now and in the future.

Imagine our surprise that Kalee at Sholdt was genuinely a delight to work with. They were actually closed between Christmas and New year, but she let us in and browse after we had stopped by and called. That’s service. She walked us through different styles, stones, metals, and price ranges for us. We are very happy we started our search with them.

You can walk in and be treated with love. Kalee and her team listen with excitement and passion as you begin your process with any purchase. The final product is always better than you could have even dreamed of. Also, a great place to make an appointment and stop it. The old Rainier Building has parking and a beautiful view.

My fiancée and I picked out my engagement ring here and I can’t be happier with the service, design process, and final product. I’m an interior designer and my fiancée is an architect, so we both were very picky up the aesthetic and details, but didn’t know much about band materials, types and cuts of stones, etc. We used one of Sholdt’s designs as a base point, and then made our own customizations. Jessica was extremely friendly, patient with our pickiness, attentive, and knowledgeable. I felt that I could ask her any question without being treated like I was dumb– absolutely no snobbishness here. She seemed genuinely delighted to be helping us through the process and was so excited after my fiancée proposed. The pricing seemed fair, especially considering the level of service, crafstmanship, and quality. 3D drawings, stone samples, and a wax mold were all provided for my fiancée’s approval prior to making the ring. When I came in for my appointments, I really enjoyed that I could see the jewelers creating the rings in the shop– talk about local! Jessica is such a pleasant person that she’s the kind of person you’ll want to grab a beer with after you’re done purchasing your ring. Can’t say enough good things about Sholdt.

After visiting four Front Range local jewelers in my state (CO), I knew what ring styles I DIDN’T think matched my personality, style, and hand. When I told the sales rep at Johannes Hunter Jewelers in Colorado Springs the types I felt I was leaning towards (simple yet different and non-​traditional) but had not stumbled across the right one, she steered my attention to a case containing a small selection of Sholdt rings. As soon as I saw them, I knew immediately that Sholdt was the designer I wanted to work with.
Modern yet not too modern, sleek and clean with organic lines and enough uniqueness to put them above the other brands, I loved all the Sholdts! But one stood out among the others. However, before committing, we went home to check Sholdt’s website to discover the possibilities. Wow, we were impressed! Not just with the variety of the selection, but also with their small, family-​owned company, history, and their approach to jewelry making. The more I read, the more I loved the idea of wearing one of their beautiful pieces.
Only one other Colorado jeweler carries the Sholdt brand, so we paid a visit to Williams Jewelers in Denver to see what other rings were offered. I fell in love with a different Sholdt here! Though this was a solitaire and the original one had stones in the channel, both were similar in their flowing aesthetics. Impossible decision, I felt, but I knew I’d be thrilled to own either Sholdt.
After two weeks of trying to decide which ring I wanted to wear for the rest of my life, I finally told my fiancé the choice was in his hands. Three months later, he presented to me the original ring I had picked from JHJ. JHJ had sent the diamond to Seattle, and Sholdt did a lovely job setting the stone into the chosen design. It looks even more beautiful now that it’s the correct size on my finger.

I got both my engagement ring and my wedding band from Sholdt and I had such a great experience working with them. The unique design, the quality of work and friendly and accommodating staff — they are by far my favorite wedding vendor.
Let me start by saying that I found their rings to be beautiful and unique. They have a good selection of styles and all of their rings, from the classic solitaires to art-​deco inspired, have some interesting design details.
I really enjoyed working them. I was in their store couple of times before purchasing the ring since I wanted a stone that is different from your standard diamond. Kalee was great — ordering different stones and emailing me photos until I found the stone that I love. She was super flexible and did a great job accommodating our busy schedule. The rings were ready 2 weeks earlier than promised which is always a welcomed surprise.
Sholdt are a not as well knows as some of the other designer places but they’re total worth checking out.

My wedding and engagement rings are both from Sholdt, and I am 100% happy with them every single day. They are rings I am very proud to wear. The designs are modern takes on classic styles, and the quality is outstanding – so is the value. I love my rings so much that I told a girlfriend about them, and now she has a Sholdt engagement ring! She’ll get her wedding ring from Sholdt next year. For something you’ll wear the rest of your life, you have to go with something classic, well-​made, and original, and Sholdt covers all those bases with ease.
