Wow — we asked around to find knife sharpening close to West Seattle, and people said «True Value, but they’re only okay.» Luckily, their sharpening guy was on vacation and they gave me Mark’s Sharps card. He sharpened all our kitchen knives, including a serrated knife, and the blade for an old paper cutter (wood and metal). Somehow, he managed to restore it so well that it now cuts three layers of thick card stock! Before, the blade would kind of tear a piece of paper. Can hardly believe our luck fining Mark. We’ll use him every time.

I went here for the first time recently to have sewing scissors and kitchen knives sharpened. They were super pleasant to deal with, very professional and my items were definitely SHARP! They really care about doing a great job. And my items were ready for pick up super fast! I’ve taken items for sharpening elsewhere but wasn’t happy with the quality of work — I will only take them to Mark’s now. (Note: you can drop items off at Alki Dispatch or at the South Park shop.)
