Best Sando I have had since moving to the Seattle Area. The bread was perfect and the filling was a great combo of flavors without overdoing it. Love that this was on Über Eats.

Came here because my boyfriend was like this is the one cool spot in Greenwood we’ve never tried, we are always too late like last time 8:50pm and today it was 8:40. We came in and right away the cashier/host acted like we were the ones who inconvenienced him by simply walking through the door. No eye contact, I asked if we should just go elsewhere because he clearly had a bad day or mad that we came in 20 minutes before close. We said something about it and he could care less that a customer is wanting to walk out the door. We ordered our food and that was that. I bet they have better service before 8 so they’re not in such a rush. We ordered food mushy by the time I got home which is on 103rd and Linden and their shop is 87th and Greenwood. The fries are good. THECANNOLISAREAMAZING! long story short don’t come after 8 unless you want to be glared at. ANDIFYOUCOMEAFTER830TURNAROUND.

It looks like just a little whole-in-the-wall nothing café, but inside is a precious jewel of sandwichery. I’ve tried a few different sandwiches, and they’ve always been good. They’re quite large and filling, and every entrée is $ 8 across the board, which is great for the wallet! Whatever the waffle fries are seasoned with is amazing, too. A large order is plenty for two(or even three) people if added to a sandwich. Also, make sure to try the chocolate cannoli. Delicious.

I really don’t understand some Seattle restaurants. In no other city have I ever consistently received so many incorrect delivery and takeout orders. Restaurant owners of Seattle: When someone gets takeout, it’s all packaged up and taken back home or back to work. I can’t check the order to see if it’s right until I’m miles away and it’s way too late, so it must be perfect. No exceptions or excuses. If ANYTHING is wrong it cannot be corrected. Unlike fine-in there is no running back to the kitchen to add those mushrooms you wanted on your burger or get that side sauce you ordered. No, you only get one shot on takeout or delivery. Imagine your waiter saying, sorry we forgot the fries but too bad, deal with it. So I will give this place a star for having a decent burger for $ 8, but this was my very first order and what piqued my interest in this place was the feta fries. But instead of no chipotle sauce on my feta fries they were drowned in it. Order ruined. And I ordered online, not in person or by phone so there is no doubt what I ordered. They just didn’t read it. Could have sent it back if I was dining in — heck, might have given them the benefit of the doubt — but this was an online order in black and white. Sorry Munch, you ruined my lunch.

I had the Rainier. Delicious! Bread was great, the balsamic was so flavorful with the tomatoes there’s was a sweetness to balance out with pesto, fresh mozzarella, and basil. That’s going to be a new craving for me. The house cut fries were delicious, & I got a side of the house chipotle sauce to dip them in and it was awesome!

Great sandwiches. We had the Salmon Bay(smoked salmon), and the Greenlake(meatballs). I preferred the Salmon Bay, but they were both good. The portions are generous, the sandwiches are huge, you won’t be disappointed. The side of fries with feta cheese were delicious too. Recommended.

Yum! I got the lamb gyro and it was deliciously spiced, came with fries and really hit the spot. There was only one cook at the time so food was coming out slow and we were offered drinks on the house. I’d visit again!

Today is my first time to visit Munch Café, and I ordered lamb burger and waffle fires to go after i read reviews in Unilocal. After I got home, food already got cold. You know usually hot food has a better taste than the cold ones, but I was so tired when i was back and began to eat without reheating them. However, it turns out that the lamb burger is still soo good! Definitely exceed my expectation. If the burger is so good when it already got cold, it must be even better when it is still hot. LOVEIT! plus, cold fries are no longer crispy, so dont take fries to go, eat them in Munch.

What’s nice about this place is that you can go to the Flying Bike Coop for beer next door and order for delivery. It does cost an extra 2 dollars for delivery. I got to try the munch fries, which had pulled pork, melted cheese and salsa. The fries were not soggy, but not super crispy either. It was good enough for two people, especially when paired with beer. I’ve read many good things about their burgers, so I will be back to try them.

There’s always something intriguing about a small place that is tucked in between larger places that makes me want to try them. Especially, since a friend had previously recommended Munch Café. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised by the amount of items on the menu. Sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and more. Seems that almost everything to eat is $ 8 which makes it easy to budget in advance. I ordered the Turkey Club with the chipotle dressing and was impressed at the size. For me, there was certainly enough for another meal later. My friend ordered the cheeseburger and really enjoyed it. It looked to be about a ¼-pound patty which seemed a bit small for $ 8, but who am I to judge… she ate it all and liked it. I would definitely go back again. Very friendly people work there, too!

Great food, great service, and amazing staff! I almost left my bag there after paying before one of the employees ran after me with it in hand(: Great place for a great burger

Great food and awesome sweets. Even better that they deliver it to the brewery next door. We will absolutely order here again when we are in the area.

Love this place. Ordered takeout for my office today(it was super easy on their websit) My coworkers loved the food! Fries with chipotle sauce are the bomb. Plus everything is $ 8. Makes ordering simple. Will definitely be hitting up Munch Café again in the future!

A welcoming lunchtime favorite with inspired menu options and something for everybody. You’ll go back again — with such tasty sandwiches, the dilemma isn’t whether to go twice, but whether you dare to try something different on the menu! Love the Needle sandwich and BBQ Burger, and don’t miss the Feta Fries.

Munch Café got me excited about having a burger place just walking distance from my house and after having their dishes and trying out various things on the menu I don’t think their food is that great. Mostly because their sandwiches just have too much going on and their meat is usually very bland. The Burgers are bland and somewhat dry. Even when they have a lot of different things on it they just come together in a mushy mess. Even their Lamb Gyro is just chunks of lamb with little to no seasoning on them. Their fries aren’t very good either. The«feta fries» instead of just fresh herbs and feta cheese are feta with some weird chipole mayo doused on them. The garlic fries are the same way just with garlic instead otherwise Wendy’s makes better fries than Munch. I think that Munch needs to take a step back and re assess their recopies and instead of trying to make their sandwiches super cool by adding a lot of toppings, worry more about flavor combinations that are palatable.

I came in and the place was empty. I don’t know how because I don’t remember the last time I had a better sandwich. All ye sandwiches are 8 bucks too! This is my go to place now here in Greenwood.

Just stopped in here for the first time. It was great! Service: Top notch. I didn’t catch the name of the guy working but he was super friendly, brought me water, checked on me after I got my food, and brought me a side of their spicy chipotle sauce when I commented on how much I loved it. Food: I had the«needle» sandwich — turkey, bacon, etc. Thought it was awesome. Again, that chipotle sauce… mmmm. Too much food for me to finish in one sitting. I will definitely be back! Can’t wait to try their other stuff.

3rd time now at munch and I must say– I really do love the food. Sweets are good, sandwiches are really tasty and the fries are outstanding. It’s not pricey and that makes my tummy happy too. If it was closer to me I know I’d go quite often :)

This place was very overpriced for what you get. I had the gyro and not only is it more expensive than Mr. Gyros down the street, it wasn’t as good. We thought about getting dessert, but it was just too expensive for the type of café. «Munch Café», to me, just sounds like I should be able to get a bargain, which is not true. There’s better food around for the same price. And cheaper food around that’s the same quality. I doubt I’ll go back.

I live in greenwood and had passed this place many times, but was honestly skeptical about the food– I’m glad I finally stopped in! Their sandwiches are good quality and well prepared, without being over priced. Friendly staff and good service. Definitely worthy of checking out, if you are looking for an easy and satisfying meal.

It’s not going to blow your mind, it’s just an average lunch food place. Which so many great restaurants around the area that are a full functioning bar and restaurant for similar prices and higher quality eats which are also open during lunch, It’s hard to consider Munch Café. They do serve the Coop Brewery next door which is nice touch. I have been here a hand full of times, maybe roughly around 4 – 5 times. Each time I feel like the food was not prepared well and maybe I keep ordering the bland options, but I would think a Buffalo chicken would be spicy and a bit more smokey. It was just like eating an undercooked chicken with coleslaw. Nothing unique about that but it still cost me $ 8 just for a sandwich and after you add fries you’re at the $ 12 mark which is typical of any gourmet burger or meal in the area. The food at Munch is okay but the atmosphere is trying so hard to be «local» and they’ve always got this big ugly banner outside that makes me feel like I am eating at a T-Mobile store. I’ll still come by, especially if they take down the«NOWOPEN» flag/banner now that they’ve been open since February 2015.

Delicious food, friendly staff, but the service was sooooo slow. Some what excusable because the food was good, but we were the only ones there on a Saturday afternoon, so shouldn’t have been that slow. I ordered a lamb gyro and the seasoning was great. Probably one of the better gyros I’ve had. Finished it off with a cannoli for desert and it did not disappoint. Everything here, from food to atmosphere is an A, except the service time. Worth a 2nd try though.

So many reviews to catch up on… Munch Café is an uncrowded eat-in/take-out restaurant located in a block of Greenwood Ave N. just north of N. 85th that is going through a major business renewal. Presently, at least two new businesses are under construction in the same block as Munch. So, lamb burgers are not easy to find around Seattle. Therefore, when I found out Munch Café had lamb burgers, I showed up here in a flash. Actually, I’ve been here three times now. There are, of course, other burgers at Munch besides lamb burgers. But it’s the lamb I crave. I like how, even though there is ostensibly no table service, the staffers will come out from behind the counter and check on you, and bring you anything you may need, or just take away dirty dishes. In short, service is enthusiastic, extra friendly and helpful. Now, on the food. The lamb burgers are excellent. Munch’s burgers come laden with all sorts of default condiments, but you can still customize your burgers. I asked them to strip my lamb burgers down to caramelized onions and goat cheese. Boy, they don’t stint on the goat cheese. I like that. I also like the nicely textured, sturdy buns they use in their burgers. What a refreshing change from the quick-to-get-soggy-and-fall-apart Brioche buns you see everywhere else(I know, I know, I just can’t resist tossing a dig at Brioche buns in my reviews)! While I don’t think they have poutine, Munch Café does serve fries with all sorts of different toppings. But me, I went for a stripped down order of plain fries, and they were very decent. I’m not sure if parking for Munch Café patrons is allowed in the parking lot to the rear of the building(we parked here anyway). The reason I wonder if parking is legit is because there several signs in the lot indicating unauthorized parked cars will be towed. Yet, on the concrete wall next to the parking lot over one stall — in tiny, faded stenciled letters — it says parking is allowed for an Asian restaurant on this block. That suggests to me that parking for all businesses in the building is allowed.

This spot caught my eye as I was walking by because of the bright colors. Intrigued I popped in. Adorable café with a great menu filled with sandwiches and desserts. They have lots of seafood and vegetarian options and the prices are great. I was in a hurry with no time to sit down and enjoy my meal so I quickly ordered a Baklava dessert to go. It was so fresh that I think I inhaled it before even walking out :) I will be back to try the sandwiches!

Holy Crap!!! This place is great. Food was Sooo good I got the the flying bike burger and garlic chipotle waffle fries… Holy crap was it good. The burger was flavourful a bit messy but damn tasty and the garlic waffle fries were amazingly delicious. The owner is super nice and very handsome and the place is very clean and hip. I am so glad I live down the street from Munch, I will be going back again and again. P. S. I had the chocolate cannoli… Holy shit!!! Soo good.

My friend and I were starving early Saturday evening so I remembered that this place had opened recently — we decided to give it a try. It’s kind of smallish — I wouldn’t bring a group of larger than maybe six people — but clean and comfortable. The person at the counter was a bit in-your-face solicitous but that’s ok… better than rude like some other places I’ve been to in this city. The menu is fairly extensive, what with many different types of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, salads and more(each choice costs $ 8). My dining companion decided upon The One Of A Kind Lamb Burger, while I opted for the Turkey & Bacon Club Sandwich, no tomato(they got that part of the order wrong; no biggie). We also decided to split an order of garlic fries. Drinks were a selection of canned sodas as well as other offerings. We were both starving when we arrived so it seemed like our food took forever to arrive, but in actuality we didn’t wait very long at all. Verdict: My buddy devoured his lamb burger in no time at all; apparently it was that good. The turkey club, however, was not very impressive: sparse bacon, not crispy at all, and the turkey in the sandwich tasted like something you would find inside an Oscar Meyer cold cut package(that is to say, processed meat — Not fresh) and rather sad looking iceberg lettuce. I like my turkey sandwiches like the turkey had just been carved off the bird. I also wasn’t expecting the sandwich to be coming on a ciabatta roll instead of toast, like a traditional turkey club. I did eat the whole sandwich because I was starving, though. I will say that the garlic & feta cheese fries were well executed, though. Overall I would say I would try this place again, but I know now that any deli meats aren’t the way to go. I’m going to go ahead and give four stars because my friend’s burger was so good. If I’m hungry and I’m in a hurry this is where I’ll go in my neighborhood for a quick bite.

Today was the Grand Opening day. Munch did not disappoint at all. Munch has a nice and warm feel for a relatively small burger and sandwich place. Color of the establishment is a nice muted orange color that makes you hunger for burgers. For food I ordered the bacon and onion burger, the needle, and fries(with feta cheese and chipotle sauce). Both burger and sandwich tasted top notch. Each item had a lot of flavor. The needle had a nice turkey flavor that was complimented by the chipotle mayo sauce and the bacon. Bacon and onion burger had a mouthful of flavor in each bite. What made it great was that with each bite you got some new flavor. Be it bacon, onion, or pickle. Nothing on either item overpowered anything else. Overall good blends of flavor. French fries with feta and chipotle. How can you go wrong? Definitely going back again!
