What a ripoff! A quarter pounder w/cheese meal was $ 7.79 + tax. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s with prices this high. The burger wasnt even hot. Also, this location does not have a dollar menu. Next time I’ll drive another block to Dick’s.

Two price increases within the last year at this location. Paid almost $ 9 for a sausage mcmuffin and two mini burritos. Food tasted like it was undercooked in a microwave. I used to frequent this place but will not be returning after this. I could make better food at home for a lot cheaper.

I love McDonalds but this McDonalds is definitely a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is fresh and other times your bun is hard as a rock. Don’t bother calling in and complaining if your order is wrong or messed up because the manager will never call you back. I suggest checking your order before you leave the drive thru.

Every now and again I get a craving for a Fish fillet and McDonald’s coffee. Their drip coffee is actually a better alternative to Starbucks drip. This location however is one of my least favorites. Most of the staff acts like they hate working there. The food is cold and stale. And on occasion when I go inside vs the drive thru the tables are always filthy. Why is a Fish Fillet $ 4.59? Their overcooked dried out fish sandwich should be on the dollar menu. Anyway…2 stars for this location.

I really should hate McDonalds. I mean, I’m picky about my burgers, and if I opened up a bag from any other restaurant and pulled one of these out I’d probably fly into a rage and march straight up to the window and throw it at the cook. But this is McDonald’s. And McDonald’s is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It tastes like my childhood. So I like it.

What can I say about McDonalds… I always think it’s just what I need when I have a hangover. I am always proven wrong. It is the exact opposite of what I need. It doubles as a laxative that’s intense enough to call pooping an «Extreme Sport.» That more or less sums up the McDonalds experience at this location and just about every location. Everywhere.

Of course I’ve experienced better, but there is something about their crispy chicken mcnuggets(especially when it’s 20 for $ 4.99 – and I shared it with others ;)) that makes me satisfied. McDonald’s is great for a late night drunk run, but definitely not something you want to eat daily…

I have reviewed a few McDonald’s in my time, and as I’ve said before, we all know that it’s, well, a McDonald’s. You know what to expect here — you don’t go in assuming you’ll get the best food of all time. This location, however, isn’t as good as some. I’ve been through the drive-thru twice and ate in the restaurant once. Both times, the lines for the drive-thru were quite long and moved sloooowly. This was frustrating when all I wanted was to get a milkshake and go. Eating inside was okay, but kind of awkward with the convenience store attached. There’s not a huge amount of seating and it feels a bit cramped. We had a hell of a time getting our order taken when we ate inside. I’m not sure if it was a new employee or what, but they didn’t seem to understand what my dad was ordering and it took some time to get the final bill figured out. Seems like it should be pretty straight forward to me. Overall, if I’m going to go to a McDonald’s in Ballard, I’d much rather check out the one near 15th& Market.

This is absolutely the worst burger in Ballard. Do not go here. What’s wrong with you?

They don’t have regular enough late night drive thru hours. Not that I stop here a lot, but it is nice to have an option on this part of town, especially on the way to the freeway for a much larger drive. Good location, just wish it were more reliable in the wee hours of the night and morning.

I decided five years ago after watching the film«Super-size Me», that if I ever go to Mc Donald’s again… it will be on the day I give up on myself. Of course It helps stave off temptation that there is a fry under my couch that fell there twelve years ago and it’s never rotted, nor has an insect or rodent eaten it.(It’s like Wild Kingdom under my couch.) It’s a not-so-friendly reminder of the expertly applied preservatives and genetic manipulation that goes into that poison! I want no part of it! Who’s up for Wendy’s? :)

Convenient place to go when you’re headed for Dick’s for burgers but you need gas and/or have a kid who eats nothing but chicken nuggets. Question: when you order a chicken nugget Happy Meal, what’s the most important part for them to remember? The chicken nuggets, my friend!(Extra points awarded to you if you answered: «all of it!») They forgot this item and had to double around the block and go in and get it. Had we been on the way somewhere important, this would have ticked us off royally, instead, it was an inconvenience at worst. Let this be a warning to ye who sally forth through yonder drive thru — CHECKYOURNUGGETSLESTYOUFACETHEWRATHOF A FIVEYEAR-OLD!

The beauty of this location is that it’s connected to a convenience store. So if you want to buy some snacks or coffee at the convenience store, you’re more than welcome to walk it over to McDonald’s to consume with your burger. I like this set-up, I’ve noticed McDonald’s is opening up more and more of these. It’s really a win-win situation. This way, McDonald’s doesn’t have to stock items like newspapers because there’s a convenience store 25 feet away. I imagine that alone is a huge relief for the manager, who sees no profit from selling newspapers. Or, if a parent wants a particular type of milk for his child, he doesn’t have to just pick the McDonald’s brand. Also a plus for this location is that there’s a Tully’s in the same parking lot. The watered-down Seattle’s Best Coffee(SBC) that McDonald’s currently serves is extremely mediocre, perhaps its the same coffee that SBC used to serve but watered down to half-strength. Anyway, you can solve this little dilemma by picking up a nice hot cup of Tully’s, one of the only significant competitors to Starbucks hegemony.
