For years I have always loved Papa John’s Pizza. Great quality and friedly service. I loved their pizza so much 5 years ago started working for them! It really is a wonderful place to work and deliver excellent product to our customers. If there is a unsatisfied customer they always call us and we will do our very best to make it right. In my 5th year here at Papa John’s I have been to a GM at tis store. I hope being here I can deliver the same excellent customer service as I have at our UW store. Your reviews here help us to meet and exceed your expectations and we look forward to your business!

We eat here more than once a week. Sometimes they give a below average pizza but this time is the last time. When asked to remake they instead dabbed off the grease and passed along as a new pizza. So disappointed, but hey I’d be highly surprised if that location or corporate cares about quality.

Waited 1 hour and 26 minutes for our order. Our first call after an hour of waiting resulted in the assurance that it was on the way. After another 26 minutes we canceled…

Just got my pizza delivered a handful of minutes ago. The delivery driver was very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, when I opened my pizza half of it was stuck to the top of the box. First time ordering from this location… probably wouldn’t do it again.

Not only where the employees rude to my friend and I, they screwed up our order. Anchovies are not artichokes. Also, the pizza has so little cheese on it you could see the sauce through! Normally I like Papa Johns, but I will not go back to this one!

Food is consistently great and on-time. Tonight, in the excitement of the pizza arriving, our cat attempted an escape. Thankfully, our delivery man helped corral him. Our delivery man was in such a good mood that it was contagious. Good experience!

It was an hour and 45 minutes late, the pizza was barely luke warm, the order was wrong and when we called back we were on hold for 21 minutes until we hung up. And the lines were busy signals for an hour… Two and half hours later another delivery guy showed up with our order again… If you’re that busy on Mondays, schedule more staff. What a joke.

I ordered pizza to be delivered in an hour. I think they cooked it for 40 minutes and then let it sit 20 minutes and then delivered it right on time. My kids wouldn’t even eat it! Terrible terrible terrible!

They’re losing a star. This is now the 3rd time I’ve ordered and PAID for extra sauces that they haven’t brought. And if you complain, they just say, well by the time we bring it back your pizza will be cold. It’s frustrating. I mean, if you take the time to add additional sauce to your order, you do it because you really want it. REMEMBERTOBRINGPEOPLE’S SAUCES!!!

Food has always been impressive here for a chain pizza place. This is my go to even though I am not in their delivery area. Sadly today I am unsure if I will ever visit this location again. I was driving home from Bellevue and had a coupon for a free large pizza from carrying out all the time. I called and was asked if I could be put on hold which I agreed to. 11 minutes later I hung up. Called again 2 minutes later and the line was busy. I made it from Bellevue to this location and could not get through on the phone. If I didn’t have the carryout card I wouldn’t have come at all. Get to the place, place my order in person and have been waiting over 25 minutes when they said it should be ready in less than 20. Also as I sit here the phone continually beeps with someone else who has been on hold as long as I have been sitting here without anyone picking up the phone once. I am unsure if it is the people working or if they are really understaffed but dealing with this at 9pm on a Wednesday is ridiculous.

IMPRESSIVE! I had a coupon from the University District location of Papa John’s good for an extra large pizza + one 2-Liter soda due to them messing up my order & showing up late(I had already given that location a 5 star review for that customer service gesture). I called the Ballard location this evening and they said they would honor the other store’s coupon. I went in to pick it up since it is pretty close to my apartment and they were extremely friendly and accommodating considering the coupon was for a different store. My pizza was fresh and delicious and I am VERY impressed, I don’t usually expect such good customer service for a pizza place.

I’ve never had a problem with this location for the last two years I’ve ordered delivery pizza from them. Until recently. For whatever reason the intercom system wasn’t working on my apartment building(though, magically, it worked an hour later when my pizza was redelivered) and my phone wasn’t receiving the phone calls and text messages from the delivery person. This is largely why I write«Please use intercom» on my orders as the reception is not always present in my apartment. Lucky me, I received all of his texts and voicemails at once later on. Voicemails and texts documented quite awful customer service that I am more than glad to share in this review. I more than sympathize with the delivery person’s frustration, I called the store to apologize and they were very nice about it, but I advise that those who work in customer service try to not leave behind evidence of their poor attitude. Texts: «This is papa johns im outside i dont think ur intercome is working» «Hello? Im outside» «Ok im heading back to store» «Do u not want ur pizza… can u answer your phone please» «ok i give up» Voicemails: After a few voice mails stating that they’re from Papa John’s and the intercom isn’t working… «Alright, I’m leaving. I guess you don’t want your pizza. God, why won’t you pick up your phone?!» «Okay, you called me on my bluff. Please answer your phone now.» «I’m really leaving this time. Answer your phone if you want your pizza.» «I guess you don’t want your pizza. I’m leaving.» «Okay, I’m really leaving this time. At least I tried, you should have answered your phone.» At least the delivery person was persistent, I’ll give him that. For those of you wondering, when my pizza was redelivered, he handed it off to my boyfriend and left without a word. I guess he used them all up during his previous visit.

Came here because I had a groupon. They were great about dealing with it since apparently none of the current employees knew about the deal. They told me the manager must have signed up but was recently fired so no one knew about it. They still honored it and the pizza was good as usual.

I’ve ordered from this Papa John’s a few times now, making use of free pizza promotions I’ve gotten from being on their e-mail spam list. Even if I get another free pizza I doubt I’ll order again though. The last 2 times I ordered it took well over an hour, and the pizza was cold. The first time I called to complain and didn’t even get an apology. The 2nd time I didn’t bother as I didn’t want to deal with snotty customer service again. Why they charge a delivery fee as well baffles me, as almost no other pizza place in Seattle does. I’d describe the pizza as being average, although I probably prefer Domino’s or Pizza Hut for the chains(just a taste preference though, quality wise I’d say all 3 are usually similar). Either of those options are cheaper and don’t charge delivery fees either, so a win for them there as well.

A great Papa Johns Location. The staff was friendly during a phone call I made to verify my online order and add an item that I could not locate during the online mobile process(breadsticks, could only find chicken wings) The staff upon pick up immediately greeted me and was quick to provide service at the front counter. My pizza was ready within five minutes of the requested pick up time, which I found to be acceptable due to the evening rush and large amount of orders the location clearly was preparing. I had the Sounders FC Combo which was an incredible value without having to have an annoying paper coupon. We are talking Groupon value here, without a Groupon either!(2 large 5 toppings pizzas and a 2 litter of Pepsi) Upon checkout, the staff was friendly, personable and provided complimentary paper plates for the party. The pizza tasted fresh, had a good proportion of toppings and an even spread of cheese, sauce and cooking of the pizza dough. This is Papa Johns so it is not the highest quality pizza(one that you would pay upwards of $ 25 each), but for what it is, it is a great pizza with quality toppings and an affordable price that sure beats Little Ceasers and Dominos. The location looks also very clean and well cared for, I would think it is a new location, other then for the fact it has ridiculously old computer monitors, the eye sore old CRT ones… The one suggestion I have for them is spend the thousand bucks(and that is a high estimate) to replace the four visible CRT monitors that are an eye sore, take up space and collect dust…

Honestly, I don’t write a tonne of reviews, and I especially hate to write a poor one, but my roommates and I have recently been in the habit of ordering pizza once a week for lunch, and twice we have chosen papa johns… twice we have been disappointed. First week we waited over an hour for our food, and to their credit they offered us a free pizza to make up for it, but we just tried to use the free coupon, and were told that if we wanted to place an order of anything else, that we would have to place it online to get their special. This would have been fine, but you cant use the free pizza coupon online, so we would have had to pay two delivery charges, making the free pizza pretty much pointless. On top of this, we have consistently waited on hold for several minutes before they answer their phones. Nice staff, and they did try to make up for the initial mistake, but still the experience is a little underwhelming.

Something curious is going on here. We were overcharged by $ 8 after I called in an order and my boyfriend picked it up, paid cash, and brought the pizza home. The side of the pizza box said $ 21.82. My bf picked up 2 sodas, and got the total $ 36.30. Paid it. Came home. Asked me what the f– I ordered from papa johns for 36 bucks! After comparing notes, we called the store to ask what the deal was. Instead of a) giving us our $ 8 back or b.) asking us to bring in our receipt, he disputed our price trying to tell us it was $ 36.30. We FINALLY got him to admit it was around $ 25 and tell us he wasn’t sure why we were charged $ 36. Instead of refunding our money, he said he was going to send us 2 free pizzas in the mail. So – over charge people who pay cash, then send them the«we f-ed up somehow» freebee? Mind you, we have received this«we f-ed up somehow» freebee other time when they delivered the wrong pizza to our place. Sounds suspect, no? We order pizza from here because it’s tasty and for it’s price point. Sucks that we feel like we were suckers. I think the owner of this chain needs to look into situations like this, and put an end to scammers. I would have just emailed the owner, but I cannot find any chain information.

i had totally forgotten about papa john’s until we happened to check the valpak(that red envelope that’s usually just filled with coupons for new carpet or gutters or oil changes_) — a coupon for a free large pizza with three toppings! i hadn’t had papa john’s in over a decade(since high school back in michigan) but for a free pizza, i’m willing to drive a few blocks and risk it. after the cashier politely assured me that the coupon was«for real», i got a pineapple, jalapeño, and onion pizza, and the two other people that i carpooled with got similar pizzas. the girl that was working was obviously very tired(labor day weekend) but in awesome spirits. she cheered me on as i made topping selections(«yes! pineapple! that’s totally what i was going to suggest!») and was generally awesome. the other staff seemed decent, also. none of that leery feeling that i get when i am getting those nasty $ 5 pizzas from little caesar’s and i look back into the kitchen and kind of just want to back away slowly. anyhow, she politely told us that it would be 25 minutes, so we went to QFC. when we came back, the pizzas were ready and the girl at the counter(a different one, but equally as nice) grabbed them for us and thanked us. oh jeez, those pizzas. so good. de-fucking-licious. i had flashbacks to the pre-economic slump pizza wonderland that was the ‘90s… and those little yellow peppers! yes! love them. i actually had asked the first girl if i could get some on my pizza befre i remembered that they toss one in every box, but when i opened mine, i found two! it could have been ann accident, but i’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and pretend that it was just them being awesome. i’ve worked jobs at places like this(thankless foodservice junk) and these guys were way cooler than i expected, especially at dinner time on a holiday with probably 10 million coupons for free pizza. way to go, papa john’s. PS — all of you other free pizza coupon holders — don’t forget to tip! you’re getting a free $ 15 pizza! $ 2 or $ 3 won’t kill you. :)

Huzzah! I don’t know what possessed me to order pizza last night, nor what prevented me from noticing that this place is like 11 blocks away and paying delivery fees was ridiculous, but either way, I was happy in the end. They have a coupon called the Sounder FC deal… two large five topping pizzas and a 2 liter for 19 bucks. Good game — no one is gonna beat that — anywhere. Pizza quality has remained the same since that curly haired dude first made a pizza out of something somewhere and blah blah blah — it’s totally decent and at less than half the price of the gourmet options, it wins a spot in my heart. P. S. The little things of garlic butter are downright cruel — you KNOW we can’t not eat them and so you sprinkle crack in them and get us hooked. Dishonest, I tell you.

Super disappointed in the service provided here today. I only chose to go with Papa John’s because Pagliacci doesn’t deliver until 5pm. I just came home from a extended trip out of town and wanted some quick food. I got a call after I placed my order from the store — asking if I could allow them to shelf my order for an hour because they were behind. I did and they threw in a free side order. However, an hour and a half later. I still have NO food! I called and was told«He’s en route. ETA is 15 mins.» So instead of having an hour delay. it’s not going to be more like 2HOURS for pizza. SERIOUSLY?! Don’t waste your time. Pagliacci has way superior pizza and better deliveries!
