CASHONLY! Other than that, the lady did a great job at fixing my broken fingernail with gel, and my shellac mani was done in no time. She was such a pro. Super-fast. I’ve never gone for waxing, but I noticed that they didn’t have a secluded room for the girl who came in to get her eyebrows done. They also sell a few random things out of this salon. Seahawks gear and jewelry. Kind of odd, right? I don’t mind returning for shellac manis, though.

I have been coming here for 9 years to get my eyebrows done and have always left satisfied. Unfortunately, I got a pedicure here once and the guy cut my toe and I bled. Also, one time I came half an hour after they opened and was unable to get my eyebrows done cause the guy there did not know how to do them. This is not the nicest facility but I have always been happy with my eyebrows so that’s why I gave 4 stars.

I got my eyebrows waxed and I hated it! Never want to go back there again! The place is dirty the people that work there are rude AF! She went so fast it took her 2 min to wax my eyebrows. They are so thin I hate them right now! Never going back. Don’t waist your money

Do not get their eyelash extensions unless you want rock hard lashes that poke you when you blink. They used do much glue that made them so hard and stuck together. Even though they used individual lashes they look worse than permanently cementing the worst strip lashes to your eyelid. Please spend the extra money and go somewhere else!!!

I will give any salon one try to get it right and this is the place I keep going back to. I have been getting mani’s and pedi’s done off and on for 4 yrs now. I have never gotten an infection, everyone is always helpful and FAST!!! A fill on my nails is only $ 12 however I hate that a cut down runs $ 3 or to paint half my fingernail cost an extra $ 5. I hate being nickled to death. For the cost you can’t beat it!

I have been going to NY Nails for pedicures and an occasional manicure since 2004. In fact, my bridal party and I came here for manis and pedis the day before my wedding. Although I no longer live in the neighborhood, I still make the monthly trip here for my pedi. Straying and trying closer nail salons has resulted in disappointment. It’s not fancy and the customer service is not the best if you’re not a regular. However, they do a great job! They will easily accommodate to preferences such not clipping cuticles, etc. Mai is amazing as well as several of the other staff.

They have a $ 15 pedicure… but as I experienced, you get what you pay for… some of you might get a fungal infection, or some other bacterial grossness. I did not get either, but she did not break my skin(thank heavens!) It ain’t clean in there by any stretch of the imagination. I think their main focus is on fingernails, as most of the clientele were at those stations, and seemed happy with their services… alas, i cannot do finger nails(massage therapist) and have trimmed them short for over 13 years. I would strongly advise you DONOT get waxed there, on any part of your body. The waxing warmer was caked with wax and had its cover open, used wax stick setting on top while unattended(big no-no), as dirt and bacteria can easily fall into wax can… ewww. They do accept VISA/MC, unusual for nail shops(but I hear that those fancy style acrylics can run $$). If you like to take risks, by all means do what I did… maybe it will work out for you! My pedicure was just… meh. But they get two starts for not causing a fungal infection with my feet. The ladies that work there are nice too, so that’s a plus… but whoever owns that place… get out a f*@-ing mop + rag yo!
