Salon Adidez

I love the personalized service & the friendly staff. I recently referred a stranger I met at Simply Soulful. I went to the salon the next day & the gentleman did show up for his appointment & said he would have Zed cut his hair again!

My experience at Salon Adidez was most enjoyable. From the hair wash, to the scalp massage, cut, and style, I am happy to say that I’ve found a new stylist for cutting and styling my ever-​thinning, curly hair. Zed did a beautiful job in interpreting my description of what I wanted and added her personal touch to make it a true collaborative effort.
I’m looking forward to future visits to Zed’s salon!

Salon Adidez is a great neighborhood salon in Columbia City. Zed does a masterful job of cutting and styling hair. I have been going there for almost a year and my hair always looks great when Zed is done doing her magic. Zed always welcomes me with a smile which makes me feel welcome and special.

This is a great place in every way (hospitable environment, friendly service, good value, and excellent haircuts)! I have slightly curly, thick hair that I keep medium length (for a guy). Lots of places can make it look OK in the short-​term, but what I love about Salon Adidez is that Zed (the owner and one of the stylists) is that she cuts it so that it looks great immediately afterwards AND so that it looks good as it grows out and gets longer. Can’t recommend it enough!

So I have difficult to work with mixed race hair that’s been messed up by stylists since I was a kid. So it made me sick sick sick when I had a self-​imposed relaxer mishap that resulted in a lot of breakage in the back. What was I thinking? Long story short, in an effort to even out the breakage I lost a lot of length from a bad haircut AND it was time for a relaxer but a much milder chemical product was a must. So I contacted Zed, the owner of Salon Adidez, to make my world right again.
She repaired the bad cut, gave me a low-​lye relaxer, and will work with me for the rest of the year on growing out my hair again.
I’ve seen Zed’s work. Very nice! For sure if you have Black or ethnic hair and are looking for a stylist who knows our hair, go see Zed. She does a variety of styles, chemical treatments, extensions manis & pedis, and waxing. By the way, Zed is one of the few stylists I’ve met who has much experience and talent working with every type of hair (straight, wavy, curly and kinky) not just «Black» hair.
