For the second time today they delivered to my meeting late and then when they finally did arrive the order was incorrect. I wouldn’t try this location, my experience here has been very poor on numerous occasions and because of this Noah’s Bagels has lost me as a client permanently.

These bad reviews scared me, but luckily I read them after I went ahead and got a bagel. I ended up getting a cinnamon raisin with onion and chive cream cheese — good to see that plain cream cheese and onion and chive were the same price($ 1.50/bagel)… I asked the guy to lightly toast the bagel and they did! Some bagel shops just straight up burn the bagel to my utter dislike but I thought this was a good level of toast. The cream cheese spread was delicious. My bagel came out to be $ 2.90 Coming from NY/NJ I was really missing those bagels! The bagel I had came pretty close. Hopefully if I come back again I won’t experience the terrible service that the Unilocalers received!

I’m generally feeling the effects of the previous night’s revelry when I visit Noah’s. It’s close to my house and I can take my order to go and retreat to the safety of my couch– so I’m here on a regular basis. While their service is painfully slow– and there are consistently at least dozen strollers and screaming children blocking the entrance(pretty much the worst things for a hangover) — the chicken salad on jalapeño & cheddar bagel is my go-to Saturday morning pick me up. I’m not sure what they put in the chicken salad and accompanying bagel– but I swear it’s magic for a hangover.

Bagels, lox sandwiches 4 star Breakfast sandwiches 2 star Bagels and lox sandwiches are awesome, but I would not recommend their breakfast sandwiches. It was bland and the cheese was not even melted. Very disappointing.

**UPDATED(04/19/2012)** Since My original review things have progressed from sub-standard to an obvious complete lack of caring at this bagel joint. I won’t be back. Don’t waste your time. Original Review(September 2011): I have been going to this Noah’s for years. I would like to be able to give it a 5 star rating and a few years ago I would have. Lately, it seems the level of customer service and consistency has tanked. Most recently our to-go order was missing two items and included something that wasn’t even on the receipt. That has never happened until this last visit. The quality of the food itself is still great and carries the 3 star rating on this review. I will continue to go there. That being said, I strongly encourage the management team to take a look at a couple of folks that they have on their team. There are a couple of guys there doing a bang up job and keeping the place moving. Aaaaand there are one or two who don’t seem to be cut out for customer facing positions. Unfortunately, a couple of bad apples can spoil the experience. I will absolutely add stars if the service level makes it way back to the glowing reviews that it used to earn. Give Noah’s a try!

Stopped by for a quick lunch with the family. Parking is not easy to find and spaces are small… Everyone had a bagel sandwich — they were good(not great). They forgot my lox(glad I didn’t do take-out) and were pretty nonchalent about putting some on my sandwich. Kids loved the pickles and potato salad. Pricey for what you get(it was over $ 30 for 4 bagel sandwiches — no drinks). They do have some decent bagel specials. Miss the Noah’s in my neighborhood(it’s been years…) but can do with bagels from Winco(fresh, cheap and LOTS of flavors)

YUM, I love this place. They have all kinds of yummy goodies to tempt you – cookies and little pies and muffins and, oh yeah, bagels. Their sandwiches are outstanding. I like the roast beef or the chicken salad – oh so yum! Only drawback is that parking is a terrible hassle.

The service here is horrible. I am not picky and would take anything they had, so it’s not a customer issue as it is a employee issue. We ordered basic stuff off the menu nothing special and they acted like we were bothering them by being there. We didn’t go in during a busy time there was 1 person who ordered before us the place was pretty empty, so I am not sure what the problem was. I have worked customer service and I usually cut places slack as I know how it can get and how customers can be. But I won’t be going back in the service was so bad and really it was for a bagel not worth it.

Jesus. You people are pretty ridiculous. No no, not you Noah’s employees. It obviously must suck to work there. I mean you customers. Again, Jesus. Granted, this is located on Queen Anne, so obviously you’re gonna get the most obnoxious yuppies to have ever put on a North Face and tote an iPad. But to watch them berate employees and throw a hissy fit for being out of only one type of bagel in the middle of a busy rush strikes me as the most unfair, over-entitled nonsense imaginable. Seriously, what were you people expecting? It’s a chain bagel shop. Essentially fast food. Yes, it is most definitely not a traditional New York deli, which is probably why THEYDON’T SAYTHATTHEYARE. (As a side note, Jeff S., maybe you should try ordering what’s actually on the menu?) If there is one reason to not go here, it would be to avoid these jerks and their screaming children that rampage unchecked around the store. You’re killing me, Smalls. Anyways, the bagels are generally good quality, and the dozen bagels with cream cheese is a good deal. Wish they still had the Jalapeño Salsa cream cheese for retail sale, though.

The staff here are piceces of work; Brandon was on an ego trip when I tried to use a coupon. I questioned his authority and talked to the manager and she said if everyone uses a coupon they’d go out of business. Is one person everyone? Then she told Brandon to accept the coupon this«one time» and he threw the change at me. Wow! He’s lucky to even have a job with his attitude. For the food, well the bagel consistency varies by the day. The service is more efficient than the Capitol Hill location. Do not waste your money on the egg white bagel sandwich – it was the blanded thing my palate has ever tasted.

Um… no. Just no. I hate this place. I spent a couple years living in north Jersey. That’s where I learned how bagel sandwiches are supposed to be done. Lets’s do a little roleplaying. Perfect world scenario — — — — — — — — — — Me: I would like a bagel sandwich with taylor ham, egg, and cheese. NJ deli: 1 taylor, egg, and cheese coming right up. – fast forward 2 – 3 minutes, I walk out with a bagel sandwich with taylor ham, fried egg, salt, and gooey American cheese dripping off the side of my bagel. I have a big grin on my face. I eat the bagel and shave a few days off of my life span. Noah’s Bagels scenario — — — — — — — — — — Me: I would like a bagel sandwich with taylor ham, egg, and cheese. Noah: What’s taylor ham? Me: Nevermind, just breakfast ham. Noah: Well, we have lean ham, or lean turkey. Me: Fine, lean ham. And make sure the cheese is American. Noah: We only have cheddar. Me: Whatever. – fast forward 10 minutes, I walk out with a defeated look on my face because I got a bagel and cream cheese, because Noah’s screwed up my order and I’m done fighting with them. I forgot to account for their attitude. It’s horrible. Really? You work at Noah’s Bagels, and poorly I might add. What’s with the ego?

Here’s my proposal for a winning business model: choose a niche item(bagels) and screw them up beyond all compare, including 1) getting the order wrong, 2) being extremely slow in a high-traffic, high-volume area, and 3) having zero self-awareness regarding the previous two points. I agree with several other reviewers — in 3 years, my order has only been fulfilled correctly once. Why do I keep going? Because I live on Queen Anne and it’s local and quick and unfortunately, there’s nowhere else nearby. The staff is ok – the manager seems to dart around as though he’s doing something, but it certainly isn’t supervision or coaching of his employees. The rest of the staff all sort of have glazed looks on their faces. Friendly enough though. I hope the owner of this franchise reads this and gets their act together. Com’on! — I need a good bagel on Queen Anne.

Excellent bagels! They are soft and fluffy inside, with a tougher exterior… mmmm… making me hungry just thinking about it. I don’t like the dense, hard bagels other places have so Noah’s is perfect for me… whether or not other reviewers consider them«real» or «authentic» bagels I don’t really care, they’re just plain delicious! Their selections of soup are tasty, love the turkey bagel sandwiches, and also a flaky cinnamon twist for dessert! They have a ton of choices of bagels including: Cracked Peppercorn Potato(my personal fave) Blueberry Wheat Sesame Everything Super Onion Sundried Tomato(mmm) Plain Cinnamon Raisin Pizza bagels(double mmmm) And lots of others. A bagel sandwich and drink will run you $ 10+, but I think it’s well worth it! p. s. Only giving it 4 stars, as it can take a while to get your order!

You’re a bagel shop… the one thing you need to do well is bagels. These bagels are better than what you get at a supermarket, but they aren’t as good as many other chain bagel places and are no where near as good as the real thing in The City. They are slightly denser and chewier than bread, but not much. No crispness to the exterior either. The service I got was fine, although I had to wait in line a bit, which was a bummer given the results.

The Pepperoni Pizza Bagel can cure me from any ailment including hangover. The Breakfast Bagel has on more then one occasion put a bit of pep in my step. The jalapeño bagels come home with me on occasion where I smother them in cream cheese and I forget about white flour and bad carbs. They have green bagels on St. Patty’s Day which makes me smile at the festivity. I always get to pet the cutest dogs on my entry and exit because it never fails to have cute dogs parked outside the store. Five facts, 1 fact for each star given :)

Not sure if i’m just offended by the use of the word«bagel» or if it actualy not very good. The pepper version is pretty good, but really these are very very bready, when i want a bagel i want a bagel not bread.

I like their bagels but the experience of buying them is sooooo poor that I’ll most likely never go there again. It seems everytime I shop there without exception there is a wait and for no good reason. I hate this place. Since opening nothing has improved, in fact things I think are worse. The management there does not get it. They need to get a steamlined process for ordering. They need to train the monkeys working there. All I wanted a simple dozen bagels… The people in front of me ordered all their bagels sliced. Next person needed an explanation of the sandwiches. Noah person messed up the order and forgot the tea for the order. Other Noah person choose that time with multiple customers waiting, to restock cooler with soft drinks. Wouldn’t one do that before closing the previous day. Third Noah person who could have been helping customers decides to move trays. The above is typical of a visit to Noah’s. The Noah staff members are oblivious to people waiting and seemingly could care nothing about customer service. Buying bagels at Noahs is a exercise in frustration which I’ll never go through again.
