Drinks here were great. We had hot cider spiked with a shot of rum. Yum! And perfect for a rainy night. The crispy egg roll wraps were pretty good and I was glad the waiter suggested the wraps — made it light and tasty. I ordered the spicy ranch noodles with tofu. Pretty tasty but not the best soba I have had in town. At $ 10 it seemed a bit expensive but truly they were good noodles. The waiter was fantastic, by the way. The service here was great. So why the two stars? well, the dish my husband ordered — the house ramen, one of the more expensive dishes on the menu. According to him, it was«off» and after one bite he couldn’t stand to even smell it. The egg was not cooked at all in the broth and the broth not hot enough to cook it. I guess he should have sent it back but I always worry about doing that — don’t want to piss anyone off. I could go back(alone, he won’t return) for the happy hour to give it a second chance but I won’t drop $ 50 on dinner here again.

First time for us in the Belltown area — read Unilocal reviews, and couldnt decide between Noodle Ranch and Mama’s kitchen. Since they are side by side, we didnt know what to do… Front desk at the hotel said Mamas was great for atmosphere, and NR was great for food. We wanted something tasty, so we chose NR — and we are thrilled with the choice. Prawn spring rolls /peanut sauce — at our table within 5 mins of ordering it. Delicious Spicy Beef noodle — only problem with it was there wasnt enough. Portion sizing is great — but this was so delicious I could have had another plate or three. Pad Thai(Chicken) — easily the best Thai we’ve had. And we’ve had a few… Service was ok, friendly, and competent. prices — great looking forward to another great meal there before we head home on Sunday.

Perfect menu of noodles. Great location if you’re hopping bars in Belltown. Cheap and fresh. Friendly staff. Will go here again.

Um, Mac & Jacks on tap PLUS a great happy hour. Oh hell yes. Plus they are a slightly less douchy version of the places that surround them. Totally dig this place’s feel and their food. My Spicy Ranch Noodles were actually spicy which is all I ever ask of things that are advertised as spicy. This is a pretty decent place. It’s not the best food in the world but considering how weak most of the food is in Belltown, this place stands out.

Been to Noodle Ranch many many times, so here are my reflections… I only go there for the Spicy Ranch Noodles. Usually share another dish with my partner, all of which have been disappointing. It’s all about the Spicy Ranch Noodles. They aren’t spicy, and they are a little greasy, but we crave them. The sweet potato curry sounds very alluring, and consider it often, but both times we ordered it, there was only a few pieces of sweet potato, literally. They are closed Sunday, disappointing. It’s usually empty. Just us, sometimes one or two others; causes me to wonder why. They’ve been there for years. Menu hasn’t changed in 8 years. The female who works there, who I suspect is the owner or manager was a total bitch once when we were getting drinks and carryout. Normal other times. Maybe cause we sent a drink back. They have a happy hour and a cool drink menu that got our mouths watering. But the waiter makes the tricky drinks. They have a full bar wrapped by a dozen stools, they need a real bartender back there. We’ve sent drinks back, choked disappointments down, but we have said«yeah, I’ll have another», I think it was a mojito. Do I pay at the table or walk up to the register? Being a $$ joint, I’d expect better everything; but I will keep coming back; I can’t stop thinking about those Spicy Ranch Noodles.

Where do i start? We gather here for a friends birthday party… We should have stayed home and failed at cooking instead… First off what type of restaurant is it? I am all about variety but the cook should stick to one style of cooking. The Mekong was horrible, the ramen is the same you get from Safeway, the Peanut sauce was not the best like the waiter said… This restaurant was an insult to asians everywhere… If more restaurant like this open asians might as well start cooking hamburgers cause this place made me hate asian food… and im THAI!!! The 1 star however do go to the guy waiter… he was nice… I should have did what the 5yr old at our table did… play with soy sauce… at least i would’ve given that a star too…

Singapore noodles is a dish with vermicelli noodles, shrimp, chicken, pork, and most importantly yellow curry powder. I’m not quite sure what Noodle Ranch thinks Singapore noodles are but I was given pasta with a coconut-peanut sauce, baby bok choy, tofu, mushrooms and onions. Why are they calling this Singapore noodles and charging me $ 9 for something that tastes awful? Why don’t they call it off-colored pasta with too rich of sauce? That’s not all. The tea there was $ 4. I have principles and those principles say no to tea over $ 2. I’m pretty sure my friend’s beer was cheaper than the tea. AND finally, the food took forever and a day to arrive when we were the only ones there around closing. I wanted to like Noodle Ranch since I live only a block away and I love noodles, but me liking it isn’t going to happen when they can’t label their dishes correctly.

I’ve been here twice now and both times walked out very happy. Great food! The spicy noodles are great, also ask about the specials as they’re always an interesting fusion of Asian cusines. I had a spicy beef dish last time that was awesome. Another huge plus is the service — the waiters are friendly and prompt. I’ll keep coming back as long as I work nearby.

My husband asked me if I could have anything I wanted for dinner tonight, what would I pick? My answer: Spicy Ranch Noodles with tofu from Nude Ranch. They’re so good I’d almost consider moving back to Seattle just for them. Alright…that’s an exaggeration but I do think of and miss them often.

Does it really count as a happy hour deal when you offer half the portion for half the price — $ 4.95 for half orders of Mekong Grill Vermicelli Noodles /Fried Rice /Phad Thai? That was the issue we came across while eating here yesterday during happy hour. Ultimately, we decided it does count because the portion size is more than enough food for a person to be eating in one sitting anyways. And our waitress was extremely friendly when she saw us eating our cupcakes that we got from Yellow Leaf. She gave us clean plates and more napkins, which I greatly appreciated.

A hodge-podge of pan-asian noodle dishes — ramen, phở, phad thai… you get it. That said, noodles are delicious and I wanted to try this place despite my distrust of Asian fusion(pick one cuisine and do it well, Asia is kinda big… I don’t think you can serve me sushi and curry in the same joint and do either justice). Anyway, I’ve decided that while none of the dishes shined, if you are craving a big mess of noodles its still pretty bangin. I got the ramen, which was so so until I jazzed it up with sriracha and soy sauce. My friend got the green curry and had no complaints. We started with shrimp fresh rolls which were dumb because I think I saw about half a shrimp in there, a few lettuce leaves, and a big hunk of clear noodles… lame. Like I said, you can stuff your face with noodles, just don’t expect any incredible wow factor beyond the pleasure of… stuffing your face with noodles.

My Compadre and I popped in here for happy hour a few days ago. Our waiter was quick and friendly. The service was stellar. Fried rice, gyoza, eggrolls, papaya salad, and a couple of cocktails added up to about $ 30. That’s the good stuff. We sat outside because it was sunny. We like fresh air and sunshine. We were not pleased by the gaggle of giggling idiots at the next table when they lit up cigarettes about four feet from our meal. Didn’t we pass a law to prevent that?

I really enjoy dining at the Ranch. The food is great, the daily specials tasty and affordable, and the waitstaff friendly and welcoming. I’m particularly fond of Andrew, the bartender. He’s funny, attentive, and sort of a Chris Cornell-meets-Screech Powers kind of character. I’ll definitely be back to mess up his clean bartop with sake & sapporo.

Dear Diary, I went to have dinner today at some place in Belltown called«The Noodle Ranch». I was very confused by the name. Noddle, yes I know what those are. Ranch, as Ranch dressing or a ranch in Montana? Neither seem to go with the word Noodle. Noddles are Asian. Ranch… well, I don’t think so. Service was unbelievably good. Our waiter was well-disposed, funny and laid-back but, at the same time, he served us well and respectfully fast. The stars are all for him. As it was the 25% tip we left him. He deserves all these. I would go back just to sit there and hang out. The food? I can’t even remember it much. I can say it was edible. It tasted like warm noodles(with no ranch dressing), lots of flour to thicken the sauce and a hint of metal. I’m pretty sure the iron I tasted was more because of the can where the noodles lived at before they met the plate, and then my taste buds. It definitely didn’t have anything to do with nutritional factor. Several fast food names jumped in my thoughts while eating. Debut and goodbye, unless I’m liquored up and in the area(which I doubt). Yours truly, Valentina V.

I went there for the first time yesterday for lunch and most probably ordered the wrong thing. I got the ramen with chicken and it was quite bland. None of the tastes gel’ed together, so it pretty much felt like I was eating ramen(which had good texture), boiled chicken, carrots, and broccoli, and miso soup all separately. It also took almost 20 minutes for my order to come. The place was full but also it’s not that big so not sure if they just have a really tiny kitchen or what. By the time my food came, I had a stomachache from being so hungry. Anyway I work near here so I might come again to try the spicy ranch noodles that some of these reviewers are raving about but don’t think I’ll order the ramen again.

Nothing better than sitting outside on a Seattle summer’s day and eat some amazing Spicy Ranch Noodles plus a cucumber salad to cool off the spicy heat. Big portions and small prices. However, when I think of the term«noodle ranch», sometimes I think of the great Swiss Spaghetti Harvest of 1957:

Four Stars for the Ranch Noodles with tofu, which I wished I had ordered. My friend ordered it and while my ramen was quite good, hers was better. Don’t waste your cash on mixed drinks at this place. I couldn’t tell you why I did, but I did and I was none too impressed. My fault though. What kind of asshole would order something in a martini glass at a place called the Noodle Ranch? Oh right, that would be me.
