Consistent food, good prices, friendly and fast service. My husband gets the burger special on Wednesdays and Fridays, whereas I swear by the California Club on wheat. Chicken teriyaki is better than most. Note: since Nordstrom Rack isn’t next door anymore, this place has technically changed it’s name to Broadacres Deli(it’s in the Broadacres Building) but I know exactly no one who calls it that.

I really want to give this place 5 stars, but Unilocal has been filtering out my raving reviews and it irks me quite rightly. Broadacre Deli(formerly Off The Rack) is my favorite lunch spot in the city. The woman and her husband who run the place are so sweet. And the food is absolutely delicious. And cheap. Super cheap! They make a mean French Dip and some pretty good Teriyaki Chicken. And they are like a little mini mart too, so I can get chips and candy and soda and all the bad things that I wish my mom packed for me when I was a kid! They also have fresh fruit and veggies already cut and ready to go, which I love. Summer time watermelon was the best! I recommend this place highly.

Got the California Turkey club. The turkey tasted like packaged supermarket style. The bread was not toasted and mushy(tasted like wonder bread). There was a very stingy amount of avocado. But the worst thing was they FORGOTTHEBACON. So 7 bucks for a sandwich which was as well put together and thought out as packing a run of the mill kids lunch while in a rush. I won’t be back. I mean FORGETBACON?!? That’s the holy grail of meat products.

Not going to lie, I dig this place. I’m in and out of here in under 3 minutes and they make a decent egg salad sandwich for under 5 dollars. It’s not«Blow you out of the water» as far as deli’s go, but its good, solid lunch food. I would have to say this place is a good stand-by for lunch

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet or the fact no one else has. About every other time I shop at The Rack( ) I stop in here to grab lunch and I always grab the same thing. Teriyaki chicken to go so I can’t speak of the sandwiches or other items they have but the teriyaki chicken is good, and it’s less scary to go into than the needle exchange teriyaki chicken place that I refuse to go to.( ) Anyways here for $ 6.00 you get a huge portion of salad, chicken and rice, so much I can get two lunches out of it, think about that people $ 3.00 for lunch you can’t get that anywhere downtown. The thing I like most about Off the Rack Deli is they don’t put the salad dressing on the salad or the teriyaki sauce on the chicken they put it in containers for you to use as you like. I don’t care too much for their teriyaki sauce, its a bit thick and sweet for me, so I don’t use it I just toss a few drops of chili oil from my personal stash, sprinkle a little salt and crush some black pepper over the salad and I’m set. The people who work here are always smiling and friendly and the place has a nice steady stream of customers coming and going ordering specials of the day or sandwiches. If you’re shopping at The Rack and hungry stop in here the foods actually pretty good.
