QFC

I almost exclusively shop at QFC on Holman road because it’s close, prices are decent and there is almost never a line (that is huge for me).
Today (Halloween) I did my normal weekly trip with my toddler. She was eyeing some balloons in the store and the florist came over to offer her candy, but when I hesitated, she asked if she would like a balloon instead. Yes, please! That was nice just by itself.
But, as we were leaving and getting settled into the car, the poor balloon was accidentally let go and went flying away. Needless to say, the toddler was not happy. About a minute later, one of the managers (Matt I think), came over and said he saw that her balloon flew away and wanted to offer another one, which he has in his hand. What an awesome gesture to both mom and toddler. Thank you for making our day!

My 9-​year-​old son was terrified of shots due a past bad experience he had when we were traveling. Jo, the pharmacist, was exceptionally patient and gentle with him and helped to create a very positive shot experience for him. I can’t thank her enough for spending some extra time with us and helping to build his trust before giving the shot. He walked out smiling and is now confident about getting shots in the future. Thank you Jo!

I totally love this super market. First of all it is pretty clean and organized. Whenever I have questions about local produce or wine, the staff here are really helpful and friendly.
Yesterday, I was blown away by how nice and gracious the people at QFC were. I had a long day and went to the market to buy steaks and vegetables for a bbq that I was hosting. I was already really stressed out because I had to prepare all the food for party of five at the very last minute. With a lot on my mind and being tired, I FORGOT a pack of Blue Moon Beer in the bottom cart. Seriously, how stupid can I be? I was so mad at myself for being so dumb to forget my groceries in the cart. I was mostly worried that a bunch of kids got a hold of the beer.
I returned to the market, literally 4 minutes after leaving and checked to see if the store clerk had found it or if anyone had turned it in. NOPE. I can’t say that I was surprised that no one returned «free» beer. I showed my receipt and fortunately, the clerk remembered me. There was never a hint of judgement on his part but of graciousness. He smiled and said, get another one. I remember you. It is fine. He didn’t say anything snarky or mean. Just graciously told me to get another beer to replace the one that was gone.
Of course, as I was driving away, I saw the couple that was behind me in line with their toddler in a little blue wagon walk home where the husband was holding a case of Blue Moon beer. They didn’t have it in their basket before. lol. I saw the shady culprits who found the beer and failed to return it. Oh well. I guess they benefited from my stupid mistake.

This review is for the Deli.
The Service in the Deli is some of the slowest I have had. I was in line with about 5 others for a sandwich from the case and in a pinch for time because of my lunch break. All the Deli staff just ignored all of the customers and went about their tasks. Occasionally a lady would slowly help a customer, but that took forever.
Wish it was a bit faster because the sandwiches are so good.

This was a clean location. Items looks well organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can ship stuff here too.
Parking was plentiful outside and just an overall convenient location to shop at.

This is the place I go for most of my weekly grocery needs. Sign up for your QFC card and there is always a deal to find.
What can you do here:
— Shop for groceries

— Rent a movie at RedBox
— Eat at Panda Express
— Get a Starbucks
— Order a meal to go at the QFC counter

I am a regular customer of that store in North Ballard, I have been a Q F C Store shopper, for many years. I’ve only been in Ballard a little over a year, and twice now the store has fixed a problem for me. once it was I purchase groceries and because my check hadn’t cleared the bank, they held my groceries for next day, but when I return someone had put them away ignoring my notice of not to do that so for my troubles they gave me a gift card I think it was like $ 25. now today I made an error at self check I cashed out and requested $ 20 back I loaded my stuff grab my receipt and forgot my $ 20. I called the store, and they’re going to fix it for me. this is not because it’s their fault, it’s because I am there so much a lot like everyday almost sometimes two times a day all the employees know my name and I know there’s. I also deliver flowers for some of the stores as a subcontractor under another business name active delivery my business name just for you delivery I hope to get business started there as well in the meantime way to go Q F C Store. I could not afford to lose $ 20 I made an error in my bank account that day as well and had to take a draw. I am NOT well off financially but I am honest I will never leave my loyalty to the QFC Corporation

Pretty good. I would LOVE it if they carried a good dairy free ice cream like Coconut Bliss! So Delicious is not very good.
The bread selection is very Meh.
I love the employees though! Totally rock!

All the people are nice. From the cashiers to the sandwich people, I really appreciate all their help.
Beware of the guys in the Starbucks though, the blonde kid has an attitude and I cannot even stand him or the short older lady. Other than that, they’re all lovely! :)

Store was dingy and semi dirty. Asked several associates for help finding what I wanted. No one knew anything.

I just happened upon this location while on the way back to my hotel. The fact it was late and this location is open 24 hours is a big plus. I also found things to be pretty clean and organized.
My experience fell short as soon as I started to interact with the employees. Seems these late night workers would much rather be doing anything else except working here or talking to customers. A simple question of «Where can I find the dairy section» put an attitude on one guys face that I almost walked right back out the door. The cashier was no better and almost made eye contact.
Possibly it’s just this night crew, possibly it’s just a mean night manager, or possibly even the day time employees here have an attitude. Even with a good looking store and competitive prices I won’t be dropping by here next time I’m in town no matter what time of day it is. They’ve had their chance.

What is it? Does everyone who works here hate their jobs and everyone else, as well? This store is AWFUL!
I used to work in grocery. We were taught to acknowledge customers and be friendly! How difficult is that? Evidently, too much for these fine folks.
It starts with the fake managers. the grumpiest, most unfriendly folks I have ever encountered. They just go through the motions, like disheartened robots, and set the lousy standard for their sad employees.

The Deli is the worst, Ignorant people, who know very little about food, treat you in a condescending manner… to mask their stupidity. «Good show!»
I loath going to this store. I do so… only when I must… to fit my tight schedule. It sucks… EVERY TIME!!! (At least, they are consistent!)
BTW «Panini» is plural! You are selling a crappy overpriced COLD sandwich, which is NOTHING like any «Panino: (singular) in the known world. Awaken! How ignorant can you be?
In summation… I hate this screwed-​up store. and it’s the unfriendly, and unhappy, people who work there who make it such a terrible place to shop!

Beware when you buy seafood here!!! I came and bought oysters to grill at the beach with my friends and right after the lady wrapped them up, i went to check out. The whole time I was inline holding the package of oysters, I kept smelling what I thought was a fart and had assumed it was the person behind me. When I got to the beach we threw the oysters on the grill and after my friend ate and spit it out, i finally figured out where the horrific scent came from — the oysters! They were dead, smelly, and a waste of my money! DEFINITELY not quality! Ick!!!

This newly remodeled QFC is anything short of amazing. It’s clean, big, offers postal service, has a Starbucks, Panda Express, all your essential needs and groceries, and a super friendly staff.
The atmosphere is more positive than other QFCs, maybe because of the recent remodel. I just hope everyone’s hospitality and kindness don’t go away after a few short months.

There is a post office at the back entrance of the store. LISA, is usually there and is just wonderful. She is fast, efficient and super helpful. I appreciate that she rattles off every price and way to ship something. Sometimes it’s $ 2 less, sometimes $ 2 more. Sometimes she suggests a flat rate box, sometimes she suggests not. I love the options, especially around the holidays when I am mailing a lot of goodies.
Go to her first, then the actual post office if you must!

Even though I don’t shop here as often, I do love this QFC. It’s nice that they are open 24 hrs and that they have a post office in the back.
What I really like is their bakery. After having a bad experience at the Fred Meyer in Greenwood, I walked over here, hoping that they do photo cakes. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful. She brought out a binder, showed me prices of the different cakes and even recommended me flavor combinations. Thanks to her, I place an order on the spot (red velvet photo cake with low fat cream cheese frosting). We’ll see how the cake turns out when I pick it up next weekend.

I’m a fan of this QFC! I’ve been coming here for years. This is the only QFC I know of that has a full Starbucks location attached to the store.
They have a post office inside the store which is the last mail pick up in the North End.
The wine selection is great. I just went to a wine tasting in the store which was fun and informative.
The store manager, Matt recently donated a lot of items to Northwest Seattle Relay for Life which I was a part of planning. I am very impressed with the store’s generosity in serving the community in this way.
Sure, the prices are high at QFC but they have some good specials. I don’t do all of my shopping here because of the prices but I am often happy with what I find at this QFC and will continue to frequent the store.

At first I really liked this QFC. It was close, It was clean and the fact that its open whenever I go there. Over the years that I have shopped there I started gradually noticing the fact that the employees are not as friendly or even helpful as it was just a year ago.
Last friday while shopping at the «Q» I started noticing a glitch in the self checkout, Immediately this short employee approached me and stated
” Oh Minorities have always had a hard time figuring these types of machines out“
I was like excuse me? Then he walked away nonchalantly like nothing was ever said.
All in all I just have to thank «PAUL» for an unforgettable event at QFC. Apparently people of color are too stupid to use the self checkout these days.

The best thing about this store is if you want something and they don’t have it, they will order it for you! That sounds like a small thing but it’s not. It makes you feel special, gets you the product you want to buy, and keeps you coming back.
Added bonuses include an onsite post office (but don’t tell anyone cause I don’t want the line to be long), a Panda Express, and a Starbucks.
The only downside of this store is the aisles are quite narrow and rather long, which is a bad combination.

One of my favorite grocery stores! I used to live walking distance from here. The location was nice. And, they open 24-​hr, which accommodated my early working schedule.
QFC — Quality Food Center, in this case, they do have fresher food, but, of course, the price wise is a little higher than the other store. However, if you check their weekly on sale items, sometime you can find a great deal.
