Dana’s process was flawless from the get go –prior to session she emailed me detailed instructions about preparation and what to expect. Upon arrival she knew exactly where to set up for optimal lighting and handled my new baby with such grace and tenderness — I was at great ease. Her patience, precision, and artistic eye was amazing — I highly recommend her to any new mom!

We had both a pregnancy session and a newborn session with Dana. The pictures came out beautiful and very natural. We have gotten lots of compliments on the pictures, and people keep asking us for the name of the photographer.
We were nervous about being photographed (because neither of us are photogenic ;)) but Dana made us feel at ease. The experience with her was relaxing and fun and we have great memories to keep.

Dana is a very gifted photographer. We did a newborn session with her when our daughter was 10 days, and she was so professional, gentle, and wonderful with our daughter.

Dana was wonderful to work with. Newborns can be very tricky to photograph if they’re not in deep sleep — she was very patient and had many tricks in her toolbox to make the baby feel comfortable. We are very happy with the results. In addition, Dana also provided service to print Christmas cards from the photos within just a few days– I highly recommend Red Poppy Photography.
