A friend suggested S&S Home Inspections (Darrell Hay) to inspect a home we had made an offer on.
Darrell was able to come on a short notice, made a thorough inspection, showed me all the areas of concern, etc. He even showed me around some of the things you have to watch out for in a house (flashing, pilot light on the fireplace, ventilation air etc…)
He also spent some time to do some research the days after the inspections and quickly answered some questions I had.
Overall, great service and inspection. Nice guy too!

Last week, I asked Darrell to perform another inspection on an investment property. He was able to schedule me in promptly before the Thanksgiving holiday, and unfortunately it was raining buckets on him (and me) while he was doing the exterior portion of the inspection. Once again, high quality and he is very detail-​oriented. I will be calling him for any future properties we are interested in.
He also has the Square app on his phone, so he can accept credit cards; he does pass the fee along to you, though, so you decide whether or not it’s worth it to use your card vs. writing a check.
