I ordered the chicken caprese panini with a side of fries through Postmates since I was on the clock. I expected way more flavor from the panini, but it was so bland… It could’ve easily been a satisfying sandwich with some pesto or aioli sauce. Darn. But I suppose their fries were pretty okay.

We were only in town 3 days and came here twice. The Cevapi was fabulous. The wait staff were so friendly and I felt so comfortable

Food/presentation: spectacular. Got the chicken kabob and the picture just speaks for itself. Four stars only because the wait time was almost 50 minutes and they were severely short staffed… Maybe we were just unlucky that night by the server did not compromise on her service. Highly recommend this place!

Another delicious meal at Sarjaevo. Definitely order the flaming cheese. Not only is it spectacular to see, it’s delicious. Mia waited on us, and she is always wonderful. She dowsed the cheese with Bacardi 151 and let it flame! Woohoo! Then delicious happy hour manhattan and the best lemon drop around … really. My favorite is the chicken kabob but the salads and burgers look wonderful too! Can’t wait to go back!

I discovered my love for Bosnian cuisine during a trip to Bosnia a year ago. When I returned I had to see if I could get my fix locally. It was great to discover a conveniently located option. I’ve now been here 3 times and the food has not disappointed — tasty and filling. I also like the ambiance of the place and the fact that’s it’s open late. Will be back!

I came here randomly and was confused by it when I walked in. I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn’t sure if it was a restaurant or a club, but I guess it’s both? The tables are couch style, which are very comfy. Service was pretty subpar, but still okay. It took a while to take our orders even though the place was virtually empty. Flaming Cheese(4⁄5) — Nice show, and the taste of the run goes nicely with the cheese. Gyro Sliders(4⁄5) — Standard but tasty. Although this is an appetizer, it could serve as a full meal unless you’re really hungry. Falafel(2.5÷5) — Meh. Fine, but pretty soggy. I wasn’t a fan.

We went to the«restaurant» at night on a Saturday. There was no food prepared at this time as it becomes a fully functioning club. There are two dance floors that are connected by a hall way. They don’t play the same music. One side plays hip hop music and the other plays Latino music. It was a good balance because it makes people want to check up on the other side. Prices were standard and the staff was pretty friendly. Overall, this spot is really nice and if you’re around, check it out!

Had the flaming cheese first… awesomeness! Then I had happy hour gyro sliders… good but nothing spectacular. Girlfriend had the toasted ravioli… decent but really no flavor at all! I like the ambience and the music they play… So overall a good experience!

Wow! One we tried this place, my husband and I were so mad at ourselves for taking so long to go there. Sarajevo, is just 3 blocks away, and if we’d known 2 yrs ago, just how fantastic the food was, we totally would have been much sooner. First of all, you have not lived till you’ve tried their flaming cheese! Holy Moly! The drama, the flavors, the sopping up the last drop of fantastical goodness! Second, if you’re going to for Happy Hour, you will not believe how well fed you’ll get on so little dough. And Brian the Bartender, he is just awesome. He really is a master at his craft, and you can tell he loves serving cocktails made to perfection. So So GOOD! We now frequent the place, and I just had to pop in a review to encourage anyone to give them a try. Pssst, one more thing, OMG the Balkan Burger! Succulent meat extravaganza!

This is definitely my new favorite place in my neighborhood! We arrived early for a small special event in the back of the place and took a seat on one of these really comfy benches(they’re more like sofa-benches). The waitress was a bit stressed because her colleague left her alone for the evening but we were not in a hurry so it was not a problem at all for us. She was so friendly and she found nice words to apologize(it wasn’t necessary for us tho). Our drinks came shortly after our order and we didn’t had to wait long for our food. We ordered the meat platter for 2 and what else could I say than: OHMYGOD. It was really really good! I didn’t expect much but they’re doing such a good job there! As a central european transplant I’ve been to some of the balkan countries and I know what the food tastes like. And the food they serve at Sarajevo Restaurant is just as authentic as it gets! No wonder, the waitress told us that the mother of the owner comes in and helps out in the kitchen. I mean, how much better could it be? The meat platter offers two kebabs(1 chicken, 1 beef), two veil sausages and a few Cevapcici with lots of fries, bread, dips and fresh Ajvar. Everything tasted so good, the spicing was on point and it was enough for two hungry stomaches! Curious as we were we also ordered dessert to share(Tiramisu) and it was really good as well! I won’t say that it was the best Tiramisu of my life, but thats hard to get as we are not in italy ;) But I would say its so far the best Tiramisu I had in the US so far! Plus: The prices are so reasonable, the bill was under 40 $, tax and drinks included and we were really full and satisfied! I’m definitely going to try their lunch some day and I am coming back hopefully many times! Great food, super nice and competent employees, nice setting and good prices! Definitely a «go to»!

Came into Sarajevo for lunch. Was excited to get the Cevapi as I hadn’t had it since my trip to Yugoslavia quite a while ago. The red/orange sauce was right on par and the bread was delish as well. The sausages were a touch rich from what I remember but were still very tasty. They are a mix of lamb and beef. I could only eat half of the small(3 sausages) plus the bread and I ordered a side of French fries. The other 3 sausages were scrumptious to snack on later. I was very surprised by how quickly the place filled up for lunch after we arrived, I would suggest reservations for larger groups even for a weekday lunch. The mimosa I ordered was perfectly blended and our server was super nice. They pack any food you’d like to take to go and include all the sauces which is very much appreciated. Prices were not bad at all for such a nice lunch. The small Cevapi is $ 8 and a side of fries is $ 3.50, fries are a large portion. Drinks are happy hour prices during lunch. The Bosnian style food also incorporates Mediterranean dishes so there’s definitely a variety of choices. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items.

Best I can describe their food is a mix of Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean, that is to say very good. Ethnic beers are tasty, but a bit pricey. Took my Armenian, Italian, Persian and Greek friends here — they all liked it! Order their«Turkish» coffee — it’s made right! But inform them that Arabs have been making coffee that way since before the ancestors of Turks knew how to make fire :) Mixed drinks here are surprisingly good owning to the fact that after the dinner rush, the place transforms into as night club. Bartenders are great! Friendly, chatty and not sore on the eyes ;-)

Came here to check it out on a Groupon deal and I can see why it was on Groupon. When entering on a Tuesday night we were not greeted by a host instead we had to wait for a waitress who had to seat us. This waitress was the only waitress on duty so even though she tried her best was not able to give us the service that we expected. The food was overpriced, for what you’re getting. We went for the mixed platter which included a very chewy and overcooked kebab. It stated on the menu that it serves two but you only get one chicken kebab, one beef kebab and only about 4 small pieces of different sausages. The best part of our meal were the gyros sliders that we ordered as our appetizer. They used the plural form of slider liberally as there were only two. I enjoy Mediterranean food a lot and was excited to try this restaurant out but I walked away disappointed. I could’ve visited the greek restaurant down my street and for the same price I could’ve eaten there twice with my girlfriend. We would’ve eaten much better and wouldn’t have left as hungry.

So much fun as a stop on «your night out on the town» dancing and drinks are great here as well as the atmosphere. A bit hard to talk to the people you came with because of the loud music, but I’d totally come here again.

I always stop by here for a quick lunch before work. Everytime I go, I am greeted by Brian and the lunch specials are always recommended. Soccer games are on to watch if you are a sports fan. On a nice day go grab a seat out front would you?

Ace cocktails, lots of space for downtown /belltown, back bar, great fresh food, circulating chef menu. It combines some of the best elements of bars and competent restaurants into one cozy booth big vista restaurant. They have TVs for the sports people… I have only been here mid-day for lunch and drinks so not sure if it goes full freak zone at night :)(thats not a bad thing for everyone) They also have a different dinner menu which I haven’t seen.

Marshall Tito eyed me with great suspicion and hesitation as I entered his domain, and I steeled myself with resolve to complete my mission and stay focus. My mission was a beer and a bite, and his name is probably not Tito. Wait, what? Im referring to the manager and possibly the Bosian owner of the establishment. Although he looked as out of place in his all green sweater(how i figure hes not a Native American… wait, what?) as Josip Broz in any civilian clothes, it was St Pattys day weekend just as Tito was also a family guy… right? Luckily i entered with success but to avoid suspicion(doesnt matter if you did or plan to do anything) i accepted th bitburger rather than the Stella I asked for. It was ok, which is as good as s duitsbier can get. I got the menus from… ok, tito might be offensive to some, though i consider. him the greatest. politicians ever, and among the greatest military stragetists… anf dude just stood around, looking around, not doing. much but looking imtelligent… lets just make up a random slavic name… dimitar berbatov… i got the memus from dimi and a happy hour menu from my server, lets. call him Brian. as with all authoritarian regines, worker bees are usually very helpful and friemdly. Brian was certainly today. i ordered the meat. platter, or meat plate, or meat something else(no giggeties! only i do that!) which wasnt on the lunch, daily, or happy hour menu. let né stop here. happy hour, on a saturday, after noon and aound noon… awesome! they have quite the compregensive. hh schedule! but i digress, and i know youre all waiting for the big juicy meat. coming(go ahead…) so here it is: chicken and beef kebab, two types of sausages, fries, and a warm soft bread. that was quite. moist inside(giggety). it really is for two people but i sometimes bring it like that(suppllemental giggety cus its true). nice gastropub without calling itself.that. ill be back.

I looked at the pictures and I thought the place is more of bar-kind of place than a proper restaurant. Once you walk in, it does feel a bit more modern lounge than restaurant but it was not noisy or crowded on a weekday evening. The menu favors meat eaters so vegetarians be warned. The service was outstanding, maybe because the waiter was flirting with my dinner companion(she was ok with it). The food was a bit late so the kitchen ended up sending a free appetizer to keep us in a good mood. I was surprised that their water glasses are plastic, nice looking but still plastic. The bread is really good, like a very puffy and soft round baked pie?
