Stay as far away from this company as possible. Very weak systems, once your money is there, I don’t believe you can get it back. I found in my tedious efforts to deposit money in my account that
really lacked integrity.
I opened an account. Provided them with all my detailed financial information. I had responded to a Costco ad that
would add $ 650 to my account for opening an account and making a deposit. I provided them with several of my accounts with plenty of money in each and they could not get the money transferred. The Sharebuilder agent even confirmed my balance, account number, and routing numbers at my Schwab account and still could not arrange a transfer of the funds. I found this group incredible incompetent. I have other accounts with TDAmeritrade, Schwab, E-​trade, Merrill Lynch, and Fidelity and have never seen a group that cannot transfer funds or honor their commitments.
I would never do business with this company and thank the dear lord everyday that I did not end up depositing money with them. I believe they would not arrange the transfer because they did not want to honor their promotion through Costco.
Capital One should get rid of these losers before their reputation is damaged even more. I read all kinds of negative information about this company and their ability to provide service.

first their site went down during the prime time of trading (7 am pst time), I contacted them to complain they refuse to admit it but it happens that my husband is a network engineer and he tried to ping their domain and sever and both were NOT responding! while the website was down, my stocks were going down south, I couldn’t sell on time and I lost a lot of money.
second, they forced me to liquidate my stock and close the account because my husband was trying to help me with my account! really! they said you have to have an joint account so he can help you! anyway, I had to sell all my stocks, some of them I lost money but I had to to meet their due date! zero cooperation what so ever, add the lack of knowledge and rude customer service!
forgot to mention that their trade takes a lot longer time than any other online broker! be careful with that if you are their current client, time is money!
I strongly don’t recommend Share Builder as a broker.
