I’ve lived in or around Seattle my whole life and I’ve never eaten here. I don’t imagine that I’ll be back anytime soon. The views are great — of course. The food was decent. Service was mediocre. The pricing was absurd. I don’t think it’s crazy to expect impeccable service when you’re spending ~$ 65/plate. I had the tenderloin and it was cooked medium just like I expected and the chowder which was okay. The dish that threw me a curve ball was when I ordered my «Maine Lobster» mac & cheese. Being from the Northwest, I’ve eaten seafood my entire life. I was very disappointed to find that instead of «Maine Lobster», someone thinking they were sneaky used King Crab meat… what the?! «Are you joking me right now?» I believe we’re my exact words(anyone who knows shellfish, knows that if you’re going to eat crab, Dungeness is much better than King) this was an awful dish! I wanted Maine Lobster! I guess someone from the Midwest might not pick up on the switch, but this couldn’t have been more obvious. Giant pieces of King Crab leg do not go well with Mac & cheese. Still kinda bummed out about it 12 hours later…

It’s worth the price to see the view, with two mountain ranges and the Sound. If you go to the restaurant to eat the elevator ride up is free, so even if it’s pricey you can still have a good dinner at fair price.

Came to Seattle for the first time and of course I had to try the SkyCafe and enjoy the view. The service was great, and the menu was fixed so you just had to choose. The foot was alright, I liked the truffle fries. I felt that the steak was too chewy, and the way it was cooked was more of the rare side than it was the medium side. The food portion was huge, but enough and the server was great at explaining to us what they were serving and recommending wine suggestions. The plus is that I love the fact we were moving around so we got to see the whole city view, and we got to write small messages and knowing when we got back around we would see a few people answer it. I loved the experience, just not so much the food. For someone to be scared of heights I was actually ok, and after dinner we go to go to the deck so we got to see more of Seattle.

Pretty pricey elevator ride. The view was okay, although in the evening its really to cold to be endured for too long. The wait times to get on and off of the elevator is excruciatingly long. Over I guess it’s cool to see if youre into that sorta thing.

The restaurant is a little more pricey, but it’s worth it. I do recommend that you ask for a table near the window though! Book in advance online as well! I had a better time looking outside while at the restaurant than on the observation deck. The temperature is controlled and you can see everything while sitting in your seat. Food is pretty good as well! The experience + the food made it worth!

We came here for a team dinner of 15 people. We all picked from the prefix dinner. The food was awesome, the drinks were tasty, and the service was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.

I had an amazing 21st birthday dinner here in November. Of course it’s expensive and you have to buy a certain amount to eat here(I think 75?), but it’s an experience to remember. :) A photographer comes around to take a complimentary photo and gives you a download card. That was a sweet touch. It was effing romantic to say the least.

I have been to the SkyCafe twice. The first time I went, we went for breakfast. This was the best breakfast ever! The food and coffee were phenomenal! I especially loved the fact that you get a tour of the city! The café turns slowly. I hear it is awesome when you are drunk, but I really wouldn’t know. The second time I went I was there for lunch. I didn’t have as much fun as I did last time. SkyCafe is really a nice place. If you visit Seattle, I highly suggest getting a reservation for breakfast.

Brunch will save you a bit of money as opposed to their dinner option. Call and make a reservation ahead of time if you want to do dinner, they recommend a few weeks ahead. We settled on brunch since dinner was booked out due to our last minute planning. Got here right when they opened and we were offered a choice to be seated right away or wait until our reservation time. We opted for the first option since this would give us time to walk up to the observatory deck afterwards and not worry about when we needed to be back for out reservations. i ordered their prime rib special(which came with gravy and mash potatoes and broccolini) and the boy got chorizo egg scramble for our main entrée. For out starters, I had the biscuits and gravy and the boy ordered the seafood chowder. For deserts, I ordered the berry crumble while he got the banana pudding. Portion sizes are on the big side as I was not able to to finish my starter, entrée or desert. I guess for the price you pay I would rather the sizes be big than leave feeling hungry. The prime rib was cooked a little bit under the medium well that I had asked for. Taste wise, it wasn’t overly seasoned well as I had to dip it in the accompanying sauce. The gravy was a bit too salty for me but the biscuit was nice and crispy. Desert wise, the crumble was too hard and i had to stab the dish very hard in order to get to the bottom where the fruits were. Overall, food was mediocre and service was exceptional. The waitress checked up on us a few times and did not leave our glasses half empty at any point. You pay more for the experience and view than the food. The view is amazing here. The restaurant spins 360 degrees every 45 mins so you will get a few of everything from all angles. They also have someone come around and take complimentary pictures for you so be ready and say cheese!

The food is really bad. He recommended the lamb and it was dry as hell. I ordered the mushroom risotto, it tastes weird, not enjoyable. The view is nice but the spin was bad, it shakes every couple minutes instead of spinning smoothly. The service was really bad, maybe the server had a bad day or something. We left right away after we ate half of our dish. The food and service are really bad.

It is definitely worth to pay for the restaurant! When y’all pay to visit the top by itself, y’all don’t get the cool rotation of the dining area. If y’all decide to dine in, y’all will be able to experience the entirety of the Space Needle as an added bonus. My date and I both got the price fixe option, which is $ 69 per person. That price includes a starter, an entrée and a dessert. My date ordered mussels, kobe steak and bread pudding. I ordered the crab cake, short ribs and the crumble. They were all delicious in their own tasty ways. Considering the price, it wasn’t top notch, but the food was decent. See photos. The wine and liquor flights were surprisingly cheap compared to the food. I had the red wine and whiskey flights, which I recall were local. The wine flight had good pours and the whiskey one was about a shot for each glass. Both flights had three varieties. Oh yeah, the drink menu looked cool. See photo. The staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about almost the entire scenery. That’s 360 degrees of geographic knowledge! On the elevator ride up(and down), the attendants briefly shared a few tidbits about the Space Needle. Look out for the two giant spiders! Only the observant few will know what I’m talking about. Otherwise, see photo. Speaking of photos, a professional photographer went around to every table to take photos. Twas a nice added touch to a somewhat pricy visit. After dinner, we got to explore the tourist area. Twas like an interactive museum! There’s lots to do, including taking augmented reality photos, playing with exhibits and of course, stepping outside and checking out the Seattle skyline. This place is a must visit and on that note, I must go. To infinity and beyond!

The space needle is a must go brunch spot. The food is delicious and if you go for brunch they serve you a 3 course meal as you’re spinning in circles to get a 360° view while sitting in one spot. The 50s décor was cute and paid tribute to the locations historic relevance and definitely not done in a corny way. For brunch I got the biscuits and gravy which was scrumptious. I think there was honey drizzled on top which was a pleasant surprise for a sweet and savory mix. My second course I got the Benedict. I’m not usually one to like an eggs benedict but this one was so rich with a perfectly poached egg on top of a stack of buttered crab and ham. This rich and decedent entrée was a surprise to my taste buds and made me a believer of the Benedict if it’s well done. Dessert was a macadamia nut bread pudding which alone was almost too rich but take your bites with the freshly made whipped cream and you have a recipe for greatness. Thank you space needle sky café for making the end of my seattle visit so wonderful!

Ok, so I was forewarned that the food would be mediocre but the view would be great. Here’s what I learned: 1. the food is great. There’s a secretly vegan option that is phenomenal. 2. the view is awesome and much more enjoyable than from the observatory since you can sit and notice 3. the view is enhanced by post it notes left by children on the windows! they alerted us to interesting sights we might have otherwise missed! 4. if you get motion sickness, you will feel nauseous. 5. worth it, completely.

Great view of the city no matter where you’re sitting. The restaurant rotates slowly giving everyone a nice view while enjoying their meal. I wish we were there on a day that wasn’t so gloomy. It was still a nice experience.

Super secret Unilocalie tip of doom… head up to the restaurant and ask for the cocktail table or seat at the piano. Have a drink and take the stairwell up to the observation deck for FREE!!! You’re welcome. Beautiful view of the sound and watch the tourists in the restaurant spin by you…

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at SkyCafe! Restaurants with a view or within a tourist attraction are typically lackluster in my experience, but this place went beyond my expectations. I made reservations for brunch during a long weekend. It’s around $ 60 bucks for a 3 course meal which includes orange juice, apple juice and coffee. Our waiter was very informative about the menu and made sure everything came out on time! I had the biscuits and gravy for my appetizer and the salmon huevos rancheros for my main dish. My cousin had the corn chowder and prime rib w/mashed potatoes and brocolini(special for the day). We were beyond stuffed by the time we got the apple cobbler and bread pudding for dessert! Everything was so flavorful and well portioned. I’d definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy, chowder and the steak! What tops it off is the amazing view you get to enjoy while you dine. To be honest I felt sick every time I would look out for too long. Haha so be cautious! You also get complimentary tickets to go up to the deck for dining there, so take advantage of it! Overall SkyCafe was a great choice for the beginning of our trip. :)

Great view of Seattle at night! Kinda expensive at 22 per adult and 13 for kids but for out of town guests this is THE thing to see. I wouldn’t pay to go up again, but would recommend to try at least once.

New Year’s Eve at the Needle —- WELLWORTHIT!!! What an amazing time at the Needle. Upon check-in promptly at 8pm, the Space Needle staff was friendly, quick to take care of us and take our coats; immediately I felt this to be a First-Class event. We waited for the next elevator to take us to the top and were then quickly sat down at our table. Our 10-course meal started shortly after that. We brought our own bottle of wine, so cannot comment on drinks, but the food was amazing. Small plates, but great and after 10 courses we were stuffed. Champagne and dancing next ensued on the Sky-Deck above us, the music was good and seemed like everyone was having a great time. I was surprised that the«dance floor» was not as full as I would have expected, but the restaurant was packed. I assume most people just enjoyed the view from their seats and did not bother coming up. Overall I was really impressed. I have ate many years ago at the Needle and thought the food was good, but over-priced. However this night the food was fantastic still on the small side, but when we asked for extras(more bisque please!!) they brought it out. Everything worked like a fine-tuned instrument with regards to the staff, everyone was smiling and we waited for literally nothing. I would definitely recommend this option for anyone looking for an amazing time on New Year’s Eve. But be advised I called and got on the waiting list in OCTOBER. Then in the middle of November I got a call from the Needle opening up reservations. I think they sold out in about 10 days; I called the next day after I got their call and my sister tried to add herself a little over a week later and was unable to get in.

After 25 years it’s even better than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed this place, the view is amazing, spinning around in his crate while you eat and the fake snow is a nice addition. The food is good but really expensive. I choked on the price of the steak at $ 60 when I first saw it but I have to admit it wasn’t terrible. The service was good the quarters and tables were rather tight but expected with the view. The observation deck is included so you pretty much have free reign of the entire space needle. It’s quite magical at Christmas time. I would probably pass on the fog dessert as it’s rather expensive once you get past the fog as it’s a bowl of ice cream for $ 17

If you visit Seattle even for one day you have to come by and check out the Space Needle and mark it off your bucket list. It is a little pricy for a ride up on an elevator but the view is breathtaking during the day and especially at night. Also it really pays to either bring up a water bottle with you or to buy a cup of coffee and chill by the observation area, it is well with it.
