Late Night Pizza in Ballard = Love the Snoose! The employees here are great at dealing with the throngs of Drunk 20-somethings that pour in about 1:55a every Saturday and Sunday morning. Pizza is always fresh and sold by the slice or the whole pie.

My wife and I dropped by here for some affordable food before checking out a flick at the Majestic Bay Theater. The pizza was thin crust, somewhat New York style and tasty. We ordered the Hawaiian style. It was pretty good stuff, and the selection on beverages is good here too. The only strange thing here was that one of the pieces we bought was much larger than the other and both cost the same… $ 3.50. Its an affordable price, but, the person with the pizza cutter should pay a little more attention… :)

We have had take out from Greenwood several times. The pizza is good so we went to Ballard for dinner one night but won’t be back. Having been in the food service industry for 20+ yrs I usually give a place a second chance after a bad first experience. After reading the other low star reviews about the crappy, indifferent service our experience seems to be the norm and this place won’t see me again. The service was terrible and our order wrong… how can you screw up a kids cheese pizza, two salads and a large pizza? We got a medium cheese pizza and two salads. We waited forever for any kind of service and the place wasn’t that busy. It was 5pm on a Sunday no less. After being given our menus we waited so long to place our order that my wife actually went to the counter to place our order, hmmm… perhaps the hostess was passive-agressive in mis-placing our order? We did eventually get our large pizza(after we asked for it when the hostess brought our bill) She actually did apologize and offered 10% off our check for the mistake. Oh, thanks, I feel so much better about our bad experience by saving about 6 bucks. Adding to to all that there are no owner replies to any poor review. I guess they really don’t give a crap just like the staff. And if the owners ever read these one-star reviews perhaps they will take my advice and invest in some of those wire pizza stands because that worn spot in the middle of the table from where you’ve been putting the hot pizza plates stinks! the funky, rotten wood smell doesn’t go well with the food.

When I have a horrible experience at a restaurant, I usually try to give them another chance before I write a scathing review. In Snooze Junction’s case, I’ve given them three chance over the last month(Oct. 2011), and things just seemed to get worse. First off, the staff is rude, rude, rude! How an owner of a restaurant tolerates such disregard and abuse of his customers I’ll never understand, but apparently Snooze Junction thinks surliness is a virtue. That would be ok if the pizza were outstanding(think«soup Nazi»), but it’s not. It’s outstandingly mediocre, and on one visit I found the soggy mess to be inedible — and I’m one of those people for whom the term«bad pizza» is generally considered an existential impossibility. Snooze Junction achieves it. Don’t waste your money or self-respect. There are a lot of good pizza joints in Seattle, and Snooze Junction is not one of them.

My bf says this is the best pizza in Seattle! I still prefer Pagliacchi’s over Snoose, but this pizza is pretty damn good. We shared a pie with sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and capers. It was pretty flavorful, not soggy-crusted like you may find elsewhere, and filled with toppings all the way to the crust. They weren’t stingy. I still think the cheese and red sauce combo at Pagliacchi’s is a little bit better, but I’d come back here. Note: Apparently the staff here hate to restock the mack and jack beer. If they run out, they will take their time replacing the keg and try to sell you something else to drink.

Meh. This place is indeed a snooze– the meatball sandwich was an absolute bore. The bread was soggy(even though the sauce was minimal) and the meatballs tasted kinda like falafal. Also, it boasts a «Hero Meatball» sandwich but this hero is nothing more than six inches of bland. If you want an AWESOME meatball sub, try Post Alley Pizza downtown.

Ahhh, Snoose. You’re still staffed by the Hipper-than-Thou, but your kitchen elves crank out the best pizza by the slice in Ballard. Although I wish you were open later than 11:00pm during the week, and I hope that your young and inked employees will someday recognize the value of being less snooty to patrons, those two foibles alone will not keep me from chowing down on your scrumptious slices of cheese and pepperoni. Those shortcomings will, however, drop you to 3 stars… at least until your service staff brushes up on their manners.

Bleh bleh bleh. I don’t get why this place is so popular. Whenever I’ve had Snoose Junction it’s been something I’ve fallen into and there’s good reason. Their pizza crust is downright soggy. We’re talking wet crust once the cheese and toppings are on there. Blech. Also expensive at $ 18+ for a large pie and the pizza is very bland. Just like its sister location in Greenwood their bathroom is gross. Next time I’ll hit the snooze button on Snoose Junction.

The pizza has always been delicious, but I wish they were open later during the week. There just aren’t many places in Ballard that are open late, especially since the demise of Denny’s. It seems like a pizza joint would be conducive to late night hangs, but I understand that extending hours would require facilitating staff changes and other business considerations, etc. I would just be more inclined to grab a slice and go on a date with a gal there after work if the place wasn’t vacating and closing up around 10:30pm. –Jacob

The real story of Channukah is that after Judah Maccabee and his brothers used up the olive oil on the first day, they simply dripped the oil from a Snoose Junction Pizza into the menorah and it lasted seven more days. Oil on pizza is like broccoli on ice cream: Delicious. While this pizza was not the best I’ve tasted, it was still quite good, with the oily cheese and the crust being its strongest points. My friend and I split an Aglio di Capra. Service here was sorely lacking. One of the young women that worked here was so rude to the customers that every time someone had to deal with her(not just from my group) I heard them leave and say to whoever they were with something that rhymes with«Wow, what a witch.» You’ve got to be pretty bad to have a bunch of strangers echo the same sentiments about you after only a 10 second interaction. The prices here were also disconcerting. Cheese alone is almost $ 18, with every topping about $ 2.00 more. They have personal size pizzas, but they aren’t very large. Pizza is difficult to screw up, so in general I would probably choose a cheaper pizzeria and get equally good tasting pizza without the extra few bucks. Add in the witchy service and this place could have been better.

I was out last week on a picture taking outing and decided it was time to eat! While walking in Ballarad I came across snooze pizza and it looked like a fun place to try– great lunch deals, perfect for sharing. The restaurant was fairly empty, but had a great ambiance, cool brick walls, nice art work, great feel. We decided to sit in a cute table by the window. Intrigued by the wall, again on my picture taking mood, I decided to snap a picture. Most of the time I ask, if it is ok, but this time I forgot, as I was having such a fun time… my mistake for sure. Ugh…Could not believe what happened then… the girl working behind the counter at the other end of the room, screams at me «Hey, are taking a pictures of me, that is not cool… no pictures» First, screaming this? Second, no I certainly wasn’t even close to taking a picture of her, only the walls. Not high regards for an establishment who would yell across the restaurant at a customer. It is too bad as the food was great and atmosphere was nice. If not for this incident, I would have returned for the great pizza. Not returning.

BOYCOTT! We stopped in tonight for the first time to grab a slice to go. The snooty hostess/sever(who seems to be in a power struggle with her less than prestigious job), walks over and looks down her nose saying«That’s not a service dog, we cant have it in here». First of all ASSuming my dog is not service dog just because she didnt have a jacket announcing it to the world, does not mean she is not. Second of all there are laws protecting individuals with disabilities and trying to force me to explain myself is against the law. I will not spend a dime in this establishment, and will encourage all of my friends, clients, and business associates to boycott as well. The few pizza choices in the case looked dreadful– only one veggie choice and it was plain cheese.

With so much great pizza in the world why waste your time? It’s not like it’s the best cost either. Props for being family friendly on the interior but then they play some really loud abnoxious music so you can’t really hear. Am I getting that old? maybe, but I think it sort of needs to make up it’s mind«kid friendly» or «young urbanite»? Not terrible, but not worthy of much more than a few stars.

Its hard to find good NY style pizza in Seattle so I had high hopes for this little joint. It looked cool from the outside and had a healthy amount of customers. I read the great Unilocal reviews about it being«the bomb», and«great New York style pizza», but it’s really not. At best it’s just okay. The pinball machines are cool though.

Good pizza in the heart of downtown Ballard & they seem to be open quite late! I came here during the Ballard Seafood Fest and really wanted pizza that day. The pizza that all the vendors were serving was like $ 8/slice which was a crazy price! Then we came here, and got to eat a normal priced slice of pizza(around $ 3 or $ 4), that was good, and sit in a nice A/C restaurant on a boiling hot day. Much better choice! I always see people here late at night sitting out on the patio eating pizza. Def plan on coming back, especially on those late party nights when you just need some decent munchies.

Five stars for the most ravishing BBQ Chicken pizza slice I have ever devoured. Now I want to try the cheese pizza, and the pepperoni pizza, and the margherita pizza, and some calzones, maybe some fantastic looking paninis, and a side salad… I digress. It was $ 3.75 for this premium slice of delicious chicken, bbq sauce(but not too much and that’s important!) and red onions on a medium crust. I inhaled it while walking… it was THAT good! Update 5⁄24: The pepperoni– though I didn’t eat it until cold– was deliciousness too! I’ll trade my Zeek’s across the street for Snoose Junction any day!

Holy Scarfola! Yeah, that’s right. I made up a word in honor of Snoose. The place is open til 3, so quit your whining about lack of late night eats and get your arse over to the junction for a slice. Whether you’re a veggie or a meat lover, they’re bound to have something edible and piping hot(or at least warm) for you to munch on. Friendly, flirty service(should’ve given him my number, doh!) will serve you up quick and right. This joint is both family friendly annnnd bar fly friendly. Win.

I’ve ordered many, many pizza deliveries from this place and except for one really bad experience it was always good. They deliver fast, the topping choices are plenty, and they open late. I do think their pizza is a bit overpriced, but that is nothing compared to the one time when we ordered pizza at late night with an extremely hungry stomach, waited for almost 2 hours, then finally called the place and was told that they had no idea where their delivery biker went. We ended up driving to the place to pick our order up. They did try to compensate by giving us a few extra slices but what they really should have done was call us and tell us about the situation instead of keeping us waiting on a plummeting glucose level while their rider was in the twilight zone. I also don’t recommend their pasta. Ordered their meatball spaghetti once and it tasted so bad I threw it out after forcing myself through ¼ of it. Just stick to the pizza.

Super disappointing. My friends and I were having a board game night and we ordered Snoose for dinner. It seemed like a great idea at the time. Try a new pizza place, online ordering, rave reviews, the whole works. Considering I live right across from the Locks and the pizza place is right on Market, I was a little surprised it took an hour for it to arrive. It wasn’t hot when it arrived either. It was relatively warm, but that didn’t last long. Toppings were very expensive and were EXTREMELY sparse. We ordered pineapple and black olives and I think the total toppings between the two was about 20… it was that bad. For $ 2 bucks a topping, you’d think they’d pile it on! There was something about the sauce that I didn’t like at all. The whole pizza was honestly very mediocre. We were all pretty starving, so this pizza did the trick for the night, but I don’t think that I will be ordering from Snoose again, unfortunately. I was just too disappointed.

I only have one thing to say to the staff @ Snoose: WEARDEODORANT. That’s all. End of story.
