I didn’t get the soup I ordered. I didn’t have time to get it corrected as it was lunch time.

Was catching a cold so thought some chicken noodle was in order. Very bland and mushy soup that cost way too much. A bowl of bland canned soup, a cup of fruit and a pre-packaged roll should not cost $ 12. Next time I have a cold I’ll just get a can of Progresso at Kress market.

I walk by this place a lot when I go to Toss’d across the hallway and thought I would give it a try since its getting chilly outside and it would be good for a nice light lunch. It’s a little kiosk, like one of them Starbucks ones, located in the City Centre/US Bank Centre building on 5th& Pike. On my first visit, they had about 8 different kinds of soups available. I decided to get the Mediterranean Chicken & Rice soup. It wasn’t bad, kinda like chicken noodle but with rice instead. Comes with a wheat or potato roll of your choice. Depending on what size you get, its about $ 6-$ 8 or so. Line gets long and will probably get longer since the weather has changed, but the staff work quickly to get you moving. Overall, it was ok, no bad issues I experienced so Ill probably go back and check it out a few more times. Don’t forget to make sure they put your lid on tightly, it spilled out a little in the bag, thank goodness the bread was there to save the day and soak it up. Oh and they got a stamp card too: buy 10, get a medium soup free. At least it’s not buy 15.

I tried their chili soup with fritos and cheese, and it was really good! Yes, the soup is a little pricey, but you’re paying for convenience. The place is located inside a lobby, so it’s intended for those on a lunch break that want something fast. I would definitely go back!

I just paid $ 6.59 for a cup of chili. By cup, I mean approximately 8 oz. Do not get me wrong — it is good chili but at approximately $.25 a bite — I will likely go elsewhere. Ironically, on the receipt the description of the chili is «1 High Price». Yeah — they definitely got that right.

So I’ve been to this place several times to grab a quick cup of soup, and have always had a great experience — very friendly and helpful service. However, today I went and the service was SO incredibly poor, it makes me not want to go back — ever. The young lady working there was so unfriendly, moved like a sloth, couldn’t care less about my business, and didn’t even thank me after ringing me up. Handed me my receipt and just turned around and walked away. I wasn’t even sure my order was complete. So rude, I was stunned. And for the first time the soup wasn’t even hot by the time I got back to my office, and it usually is. Plus, I have to say, even tho I’ve frequented this place often, I think it’s WAAAAAY overpriced for what you get. A small cup of soup should not cost over $ 7. I don’t get the roll because I’m gluten free, so I get the tortilla chips, which are oily and stale. Blech. I’ll probably go back one more time because I now have a free soup on my punch card, but that will be it.

$ 7.25 for a small cup of soup and a store-bought roll. If I’m paying this much for bisque, I should be giving my order to a 5-star restaurant waiter and not a mall kiosk cashier.

Save your money & go somewhere else for lunch. The soup I had was sub-par, and my «chicken basil bisque» had one tiny piece of chicken and the rest was beans(beans in a bisque?) not to mention not even the slightest taste of basil. While their website claims«freshly baked bread» to accompany the soup, it was a cold roll out of a plastic bag(grocery store rolls, uncooked) that was so stale I couldn’t eat it. And the price for this disastrous lunch was over $ 7! Yuck! There must be a reason no one was at this line and everyone was in the tossed salads line across the lobby.

This place is now just called Soups! but it’s still a darn good value. Located in the building across from my office, it’s basically a little kiosk on the ground floor, near a salad bar and a Starbucks kiosk. Their purpose is to cater to the lunch crowd that needs to get in and out in 30 minutes or less. The process was painlessly smooth: study menu, order special(clam chowder since it was Friday), pay, be told by the friendly gentleman that it came with a piece of fruit, put away change, be handed soup and roll, pick up apple, and away I went. It’s not the best soup I’ve ever eaten in my life, but it’s pretty good and warm and filling and you don’t have to feel guilty about eating a fast food greasebomb. Prices are great for downtown Seattle, there are a decent number of options, and practically no wait time involved(I hate waiting!). I forgot to ask, but rumor has it that they offer a punch card whereby you can earn free soup. Who doesn’t like free soup?

I work in the building and go here multiple times a week. I can get out with a 12 oz(sometimes 16oz) cup of soup, whole grain roll, and piece of fruit(banana, apple, or orange) for about $ 5. They have daily special with which you can get a medium(16oz) for the price of the small. Great tasting soups — I like the chicken vegetable noodle, chicken and dumpling(only served Thursdays), and the mediterranean chicken and rice. All three of these soups are UNDER200 calories for a small. The service is always really friendly and they will give samples if you ask. Highly recommend you try — even if you don’t generally like soup(I usually don’t), you will like Soups!

Not souper, but pretty decent. It’s pretty decent for a stand in a mall. When you want some soup, they have it. One of the best thing this has going for it is that it’s located next to a salad stand… so you can have your sour & salad in the same weird mall food court.

I have no complaints about Soup’s On. In fact, it’s one of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch during the work day. As someone who cannot have dairy or gluten and does not eat meat, my options are very limited in the Downtown area. Soup’s On has several vegan and gluten-free options, and most days of the week serves one of their soups that is both vegan and gluten-free(the vegan chili and/or the vegan tomato basil– both are good, but I prefer the chili, it is heartier). You also get a roll and a piece of fruit with your soup!(For those who cannot have gluten, they often offer me corn tortilla chips to accompany). The staff has always been very nice, they have a punch card, and I have not had issues with my soup staying hot as others have mentioned. The prices are good as well. I’ll definitely be a regular visitor. Thanks for the lunch options, Soup’s On!

This place is cool if you like thick, creamy soups. I prefer mine brothy and chunky. Their beef stew is good, though, and the curried coconut they had on Wednesday was nice and chunky too, if a little sweet.

This place is ok. I really don’t think the soup is all that. It kind of reminds me of the soup they serve at QFC. Soup’s On! is on the expensive side. Get the chicken or tuna salad with a roll. It’s the best thing they offer. The staff is always nice. Seating can be limited so good luck finding a place to sit in the lobby. It’s more of a grab and go kind of place.

Soup’s On is a really easy place to go for lunch, especially if you work in the area. The people who work there are usually pretty pleasant, and they change their soup menu daily. One thing I really like about them is that you also get a roll and a piece of fruit with your soup. Generally speaking, it’s a pretty healthy lunch. Their soups really do taste great, although I wish they would keep them a little more hot. Soup’s On is pretty convenient, since it’s right in the US Bank Center, and they have some chairs and tables around the lobby where you can eat if you so choose. This will definitely be a place I come to for lunch when the cold weather arrives. The price is ok… But hey, it’s downtown Seattle, so what’s the point in complaining about slightly higher pricing? If you’re in the mood for some good soup, check it out. They also have their daily soup schedule online, so you can check it out before you go.

The soups are alright. Nothing spectacular about this place, but then again, I’m not crazy about soup. For $ 5, you can get a small or medium soup depending on the type, and you get a choice of roll or crackers and a choice of fruit. The guy working the register is friendly and always reminds you not to forget your apple or orange and they’re happy to give you samples of the ten or so soups they offer. Most of the soups change daily, and my favorite — broccoli cheddar — is only offered on Mondays and Fridays. They always have at least one vegetarian soup, although it isn’t necessarily vegan. My broccoli cheddar soup was a little on the salty side, while the chicken noodle was a little on the brothy side, but both were eaten. Important facts: they offer $ 1 off if you mention Unilocal, and they also have a stampcard that you can get ten stamps for a free medium soup.

I am skeptical of food places located in atria and office tower lobbies. Usually they survive by virtue of their location in high traffic areas and not on account of great quality or service. However… For a walk-up soup counter, this is as good as it gets. Friendly service, loyalty card, bread that’s not hard and tastes fresh, soup that is flavorful without being a salt bomb, free samples, a free piece of fruit, lots of options, and a variety of prices. Even the small portion was decent sized.

Hmm. This was a quick stop for lunch between client meetings, trying to hurry up the lunch process and get back to work, but it didn’t really pay off. They have a good selection of soups, from standard stuff like tortilla soup and chili to more exotic stuff like lobster bisque and coconut curry chicken. I selected the lobster. It came with a wheat roll — I love dipping good bread in good soup, so I was kind of excited at this point. But not so much when I started eating. The soup itself was… not very lobster tasting. I know, what should I expect from a little stand in the lobby of an office building. But really. And what little meat there was in the soup was more reminiscent of heavily overcooked shrimp than decent lobster. Squeaky, chewy… just not great. And the roll, which could be the saving grace, reminded me of a dried out wheat bun like those I would buy from a Jewel back home. It was close enough that I checked to see if it had been split to accommodate a hamburger. I might try this again, but I would have to be in a real hurry. Maybe I should try something a bit more standard, but I just wasn’t impressed.

If you are looking for a quick & easy lunch downtown, Soups On!(or is it «Soups!»?) is definitely your best bet. For about $ 10(yes, TENDOLLARS), the boy and I walked away with: small chicken noodle soup(thick noodles, delicious broth, chicken that was CHICKEN, not creepy meat-pieces), small mushroom soup(which I liked even though I generally dislike mushrooms), one whole-grain roll each, a soda for me, and a piece of fruit for each of us(an apple and an orange). The guy just kept piling it on! He gave us samples, we made our choices, and then he said, «Oh, this also comes with a whole-grain roll, crackers, or both, take your pick.» We got our rolls, I grabbed my soda, and then the guy said, «Oh, and see that fruit behind you? That’s included too, so just grab what you want.» It was like Christmas morning! Definitely a good choice that I’ll make again in the future.

I’m a fan of soup in general. This kiosk is a great place to stop in chilly Seattle for a quick soup lunch. There were a bunch of options and I went back for seconds on a Sunday — but they weren’t open :( The staff was friendly and informed and the prices are reasonable. This is a great option for soup lovers or those just walking around the breezy streets.
