I’ve been using Sprague for over 5 years for all my Bed Bug issues… which are not many thanks to them! When I do have«alerts» from the canine… the handler will investigate thoroughly. They steam treat on site if they have an alert or visual so no need to have them out again. That treatment usually solves the problem. If not they will chemical treat and that definitely does it. Their staff out in the field are friendly and take the time to explain things when asked.

Unprofessional and dangerous I’m a resident manager at an apartment building and I’ve had to use Sprague for the past 4 years because they were our approved exterminator. Typically when I call the office to setup an appointment, they say their rep will get in touch with me within the day. I then have to call the office and complain 2 sometimes 3 more times to get the rep to actually call me. The rep for my area is always a new guy because they have high turn over. They’re typically very young and seem inexperienced. The final straw was when the last rep who came to one of my units ASKEDTHETENANTOUT. The tenant was a young college student who was home alone. I called the company to complain and they said he was let go. The damage has already been done though as they clearly cannot hire well or retain good employees. Needless to say I’ve gotten approval to go with a different exterminator from here on out.

This company is awful. They attempted to treat my apartment for bed bugs but the bed bugs never left. They missed the final treatment appointment. When they did show up, their employee didn’t wipe the dog poop off their shoes which they tracked all over my apartment. Also while treating my place they ripped my mattress cover which was my main defense against the bugs. DONOT use this company for bed bug control. They are horrible.

I recently wrote about this pest control company based on one experience. I did have a more postive experience with a bed bug detecting dog from Sprague that was more accurate. The handler’s name was Mathew and the cannine was 90% effective in detecting bed bugs. This is better than a human which is about 50% effective.
