You want scotch? You’ll get scotch. You have questions? Ask the bartender. Went in there with 3 friends fairly close to closing, yet the bartenders were great in serving us and answering our questions on the various types.

This was a great place to watch a Sounders match. They had a lot of tvs and the sound on for the match. Everyone at the bar was focused on the match and were intelligible soccer fans. We didn’t have any food, but they had a nice selection of beers on tap and although I didn’t partake in the middle of the day, they had a really great selection of Scotch for a smaller bar. The service was friendly and prompt. She refilled waters, got us an extra Diet Coke, and checked in occasionally to make sure we didn’t need anything else. I would heartily recommend St. Andrews if you’re looking for a place to watch the Sounders, and I will definitely be back when I’m looking for a nice dram of Scotch on the north end of the city!

This place had kind of a divey atmosphere, but the food was surprisingly good and well presented. It’s a no-frills joint, but the prices are acceptable and the food is good, so why not? The beer selection is decent too.

Have had both takeout and sit-down meals here. Staff is always friendly with quick service… Not to mention great food and drinks! We love the blue cheese bacon burger and salad combo, but all the burgers and sandwiches are great!

I came to St. Andrews with the GF to watch some football one rainy Saturday. While I was pleased with their Scotch selections, and thoroughly enjoyed my Laphroaig 10-year, the food was meh. I ordered a mushroom burger with fries. The thing is, it could have been a very acceptable burger if it hadn’t been cooked into submission. I could have used the patty to resole my boot. I get that kitchens are paranoid about food borne illnesses, but if you buy quality product, and follow proper storage and handling procedures, then you don’t have to cook the goodness out of a piece of meat. The fries were better than the burger, but even they were a bit overcooked. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the food. However, the service was great! The place was packed, and there appeared to only be two servers working, but we never felt forgotten. It’s the service that earned St. Andrews a third star.

Walked in on a weeknight expecting this place to be a little gross and sketchy, right there on Aurora. We’d misjudged it! It does have a little grit(booths seemed sticky to me …) and character, but I wouldn’t be hesitant to bring my mother in. We came for a drink and dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, definitely better than your average pub fare. Friend got a burger and fries. Fries were crispy and well-salted, burger was solid, cooked to his liking. I got a patty melt, which I devoured; they didn’t hold back on the onions or the cheese. :) Asked to sub the fries for a salad so I didn’t feel so bad about eating the whole buttery sandwich, and I was pleased that the greens were crisp/fresh. The place has a fun vibe… full of older townies, some watching sports, some quietly reading or doing bookwork of some sort. They seem to have a TON of scotch… so come on in if you’re into that. Or if you’re not! Nice place to have within easy walking distance of our home.

I love Scotch, so naturally I really like this place. The atmosphere is pretty divey with a sports bar vibe and lots of regulars. Foot is fine, nothing fancy but I like the onion rings. Service is friendly and helpful in choosing a good Scotch. If I lived or worked closer I’d probably come here all the time for my fine whiskey fix.

Im a transplant from Colorado. And this is a Denver Broncos bar. We have a separate room that we meet in for All Broncos games. The beers are reasonable and they have a suitable list. And the Cheesesteaks on the menu are delicious. The Service is great and they have a nice outside area. Parking is limited and do not park in the Whole Foods lot, you will get towed. Parking in the Neighborhood has never been a problem.

This place is pretty good, but I always go back for the bartender. I think his name is Mark, he is one of the owners. Good looking guy, late 30’s. You could grate cheese on this guys abs. His service is on point. He often has a lot of women at the bar trying to get his attention, but my St Pauli non alcoholic always arrives ice cold and with a friendly smile. That’s why I keep coming back. Plus, he accepts my EBT card.

For a bar, the food is nothing short of excellent. Sandwiches and burgers are done really well, tomato soup is amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. Staff is friendly and attentive. They have lots of TVs and aren’t afraid to put the volume on with the game, especially Sounders. My go to place for Sounders game day. Removed one Star because they run out of certain beers on tap WAY too often. Order enough beer, it’s expected when you have Bar in your name!

Scotch lovers would love this place. They have a separate menu with all of their scotches listed. My friends loved their scotch selection. I had their Scottish bbq sandwich, which was salty and sweet with decent beef brisket slices, but it wasn’t any different from other bbq places I’ve been to. They offered and good amount of fries with it as well. Decent food, excellent selection of scotch. Nuff said.

Came here with family as my sister loves this bar for Sounders games– Tuesday night not crowded– Ordered a Reuben Sandwich and fries– It was really tasty– Everyone else at our table was happy with their food — Beer was ice cold– Service was fast and friendly– I like this bar its such a neat place– Wish it was closer to my condo as I would be here all the time(well walking distance that is for walking home from the bar after drinking) Seattle needs more bars like this– Excited to go back!

We had a great experience here. The entire family came for lunch. It was not very crowded and the bartender was extremely nice and took great care of the group. The food was very good. The nachos are a huge portion size and delicious. We are very excited to come back and try a scotch off the extensive list. There’s also plenty of TVs and space to bring a group and watch sports. We will definitely come back!

Went here because it was designated as Broncos headquarters for a Thursday night game on NFL network. I had low expectations being that I did not choose the bar, and it was on Aurora. I was very pleasantly surprised. They were well set up for the game, complete with a separate section for the rowdy Bronco fans. Somewhat limited food options, but a passing grade. Good amount of character, and it appears to be a legit soccer pub. The service was good considering the crowd, and it was clean. Good times were had by all, and I’m sure I will be back.

I like St. Andrews — the place has a couple quirks, but it is a fun place to hang out, especially for a sporting event. The food is generally pretty good. The sandwiches are hearty and the fries are done just right for bar food. The only thing I did not like at all was the nachos. They make them with burrito sauce and cojita cheese — different but not to my taste. They have a good selection of beers too, but where they really shine is the scotch. I’m not much of a scotch drinker, but seeing the huge selection here makes me want to do a taste test. If you like scotch & sports, this is the place for you.

I have to say I am impressed. I have driven past this place 100 times without ever going inside. But when friends asked me to meet them here to watch a basketball game I was surprised. The food is your typical bar selection with wings, burgers, nachos onion rings etc. There are other more healthy items on the menu like soups and salads so it is not all fried food. The televisions are great. They are well positioned at all four corners of the bar so every seat is a great seat to watch from. Now for the drinks. For one they have more options for scotch drinkers than any other bar in Seattle. I didn’t count but looks like well over 60 choices. If you are not a scotch drinker don’t worry they have draft and bottled beer as well as a full bar. The best part is all of the cocktails automatically come as doubles. I mean I can drink but these drinks are stiff. So be careful to pace yourself. Overall a great option in what is a very limited choices of places to go in the Greenlake area.

I am ashamed to say that despite living just down the road, I haven’t been here until last weekend. I will work to rectify that wrong for as long as I am in the neighborhood! Not only is service friendly and fast, but local regulars are as well. I have never felt so welcomed and comfortable sitting at a bar by myself anywhere in town. Tons of scotch, STRONG drinks, and great vibe. I am definitely coming back.
