No wifi in a coffee shops gets you a low rating, even lower for not alerting people.

No wi-fi at this location. Great location but not somewhere you want to go for productivity.

No Wifi. And no sign on the door to alert customers of this fact. I only discovered it after I bought an overpriced drink.

To be honest — the lack of wi-fi is great… It makes it feel more like an old fashioned coffee shop and less like an Internet café. Some folks might not like it, but believe it or not, before the year 2000, just as many people went to starbucks and they brought things called«books» or «newspapers» or they spent time actually talking to those around them. And with the same great menu, as well as a very friendly staff, you too can do the same. I do find the other reviews rather hilarious. I mean, if wi-fi is your primary reason for picking a coffee shop, there are about another 200 coffee shops within a ten mile radius that can connect you to the net.

i am a very cranky and complaining senior citizen who loves coffee. I used to drink a pot of coffee a day until I found this Starbucks… It is Starbucks and all of the staff is quite handsome and friendly. The baristas are fantastic. I had the most deliciious expresso and they put it in a tiny cup. This Starbucks is comfy and it is sometimes busy. be sure that you do not go on a saturday movie because the parking lot is packed for the delicious Red Mill Burgers and be sure that you are prepared to wait a long time on saturday. during the week it aint so bad. But this is Starbucks and us old goats love to sit and bs and outside the tables are comfy also. Thanks Starbucks for making this old goats morning good. I am defintely coming back!

My favorite Starbucks location. They are efficient even with the place is packed for PNA events and they are really involved and committed to the community.

Awesome Starbucks. Cool staff. Sweet location with view over Greenlake. But no WIFi. Need WIFI. Had WIFI for a short time in 2013, but no longer. Supposedly due to landlord. Landlord sucks. Boo Landlord.

Unique store design with large windows looking East towards the Cascades. Helpful trained staff. Unreliable or no WIFI which is disappoints your visit. Parking at times limited. Good as a brief morning hangout.

It’s a Starbucks, has all of the things that you would expect. Although, I’ll bump this one up a star due to a very friendly and helpful staff. Each visit I’ve had has been an enjoyable one. Being a busier location right next to Red Mill and the other Phinney Ridge businesses, they do a good job at making sure they are staying friendly/happy while they’re busy! You can park at the shared lot with Red Mill, but keep in mind that during Red Mill’s busy times parking can be tough.

Love this little neighborhood starbucks. I don’t live near here otherwise I’d hang out all the time. Friendly staff and cozy place. Feels more like a fun coffee shop than a large starbucks chain. So many people show up with a book, the paper… and just relax. Love it.

I know, I know — it’s a chain. But when you’re on the road for a year, a familiar place like Starbucks becomes a safe haven in a world of questionable coffee shops. This place gets a shout-out in my book for friendly service, reliable free wi-fi, and the best view I’ve ever enjoyed at a Starbucks. Sitting at the little bar-style area at the window exposes you to a flowery street that winds downhill to the water, and you can see the mountains in the background. I got some great writing done here. Bonus points for the barista who accidentally broke a donut, then offered it to my boyfriend and I — cut in half(to disguise the break) and plated nicely. We really enjoyed the unexpected treat.

Everyone is pissed at this place, due to the lack of Wi-Fi… I’m okay with that, I mean this place feels more like a local coffee shop than the corporate mess that people have come to rant about. The food is what you expect, but the staff make the experience a great one. What Starbucks does well, is hire awesome people. I love the staff here at this store, they have fun and it shows when you talk to them. They give you an honest smile and oh hell, yes it’s starbucks coffee, but it’s just a little better when you have great«partners» making it. I love this place, sure it’s next to Red Mill, and they get super busy, but the Starbucks it worth it if you need a quiet place to study, relax with coffee, and sipping that caramel apple spice. Good place? yes sir.

I enjoyed the cookie crumble Frappé and the friendly baristas, but 2 stars cos of no WiFi at this location due to it being right next to Red Mill burgers. I guess they didn’t want the Red Mill people using Starbucks WiFi if they weren’t at Starbucks, but it is because the Starbucks is using a shared space under a Red Mill lease agreement. If I would have known this before we got to this Starbucks I would definitely have went to another one instead.

I go to this Starbucks all the time since it’s so close. Pros: Can’t help but like the SBUX Mocha… it’s like a drug. Lots of light inside and a patio area if it’s nice outside. Awesome neighborhood. Staff is really friendly. Cons: No WiFi.

ATTN: **NOWI-FI** ATTHISLOCATION One of the best Starbucks I’ve been to. Staff was awesome, music played at a good volume, good furniture. There is no technology at this Starbucks, which I kind of like. There are no big LCDTV’s showing what CD is playing and there is no WiFi. Reminds me more of a cozy independent coffee shop, but with all the reliability and drinks of Starbucks! No WiFi means its never super crowded! If you have WiFi tethering on your phone this spot can’t be beat.

It’s in the neighborhood, and it’s a great fallback when my $&#^$%#^@% automatic espresso machine works(you ARE replaceable, you dastardly machine, you…). I actually liked it just as much before the renovation and therefore like it as much now(yeah, just try to make sense of that sentence, I’ll give you a couple of minutes). The usual Starbucks look and feel, and as a company that prides itself on the«sameness» within each location, they did a great job with this one.

This is a Starbucks. Review done. I’m going to use this space for a small rant. There are a lot of people that are Anti-Starbucks, and say that we(the coffee drinkers) need to support small, independent coffee shops instead. But there’s a problem with this. Pretty much every small coffee shop in Seattle serves one brand of coffee: Café Vita. If every small coffee shop serves the same brand of coffee, there is no difference between going to a small coffee shop and going to a Starbucks. There was a time when Starbucks was toying around with the idea of starting their own small coffee shops and giving them each their own unique name and ambiance. That’s essentially what many small coffee shops are like, except instead of Starbucks they serve Café Vita. Café Vita isn’t that bad, but much like a restaurant, coffee shops should be rewarded for being either unique or very good. Serving Café Vita and doing nothing else to set themselves apart from any other independent coffee shop is doing neither of those things, and shouldn’t be rewarded simply for being«not Starbucks.» ~~~ This location was empty, and the service was friendly as usual. The coffee was a little weaker than normal, but most Starbucks have their off days every once in a while. Otherwise, this place was a Starbucks, so it was a lot like a Starbucks. Here is a list of things it’s not: — A Tully’s — A Seattle’s Best — A Pink Elephant — You It’s Me — Lupus Otherwise it was fine, nothing special. It’s a Starbucks like most other Starbucks’.
