I frequent a lot of different Starbucks in the downtown area because I walk from Westlake to Denny(where I work). Sometimes I stop at this location, and every time I’ve gone they’ve been awesome. The baristas here are incredibly low-key and down to Earth, and they always get my drink perfect.

A trip to this Starbucks is part of my daily morning routine. Never had a bad coffee, they’re very friendly, definitely try to remember your name, your drink, etc. Only bad thing is the line can be sometimes long. But if that happens, we just head to one of the other 6 that are literally within a 500 ft radius.

Always a no-brainer unless you’re a coffee snob. Well then, you’ll just have to relax and caffeinate! :)

We stay across the street at the Sheraton often and this is our morning stop. Weekday mornings this place is the best in the area, very cool people working, fast and overall great. Weekends however seems to be a vastly different story. Even though it’s less busy, it’s takes longer! With the same size crew, crazy. On a recent Saturday morning, I realized I’d been waiting in line forever and saw two people behind the counter busting their ass and saw four more are the end of the counter eating, drinking and dicking around. Alas, there is always another Starbucks around the corner so that’s where we went.

I work really close to this Starbucks so I frequent this particular one. I love the staff here because they are so friendly and remember your name and what you drink and ask you how your day is going. Those little things go a long way.

One of the few downtown stores that is not crammed. Love it. If I am correct, this one is located inside the City Centre building. I say this is because there are so many Starbucks in downtown and I can never find the right one to check-in on Unilocal. I like this better because it has many tables and the store is bigger than your regular Starbucks. Staff was friendly.

This is my FAVORITE location and staff! This is a VERY busy location even though there is another one across the street and one at the other end of the block. I will wait in line because I LOVE the friendly service!!! From the pictures posted I wonder if people confuse this location with the one across the street next to Jimmy Johns? This location is inside Two Union Square.

This is a starbucks. Ta-Da! However, the staff are AWESOME. They are friendly, helpful and patient with customers. They take the time to get to know you, check in and chat. I’d give them 5 stars except for sometimes their connection with clients = a long wait time. I know it’s the morning and very very busy but I usually wait about 15 minutes for my coffee…

It’s Starbucks, you know what you’re getting. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and there are plenty of nice big tables. This particular location is always crowded for whatever reason.

Beautiful store, good coffee. We went here Sunday afternoon around lunch time. The drinks took forever! We were seriously waiting ten minutes for 3 drinks. Two of our drinks finally came up but mine did not. Two more drinks were called out. I gently asked the barista on the bar if my Americano was coming because the two other drinks in our order had already came up and other drinks were being served. She said«yeah, it’s coming» no eye contact, no smile, no apology for the wait, nothing. The guy at the cash register didn’t offer a smile either. They were wayyy too slammed to have one person at the register and only one on the bar. Then, one of the people who was sitting at the counter went into the back and changed into an apron and started working. He was obviously on his break and let his coworkers handle the rush without helping. I understand wanting to use your break but when there is a big rush of customers there and you are sitting there listening to your headphones watching them struggle? Strange. I was not impressed with my experience here.

The folks who work here have it down to a science and given the rampaging hordes of office workers that swamp the place, that’s a good thing. Things seem to be much quieter in the afternoons, although it’s hard to wait that long for my caffeine fix. My drink order did get lost once, but they were very apologetic and made me a new drink immediately. I’m impressed that the baristas have always been cordial and patient, and sometimes downright friendly, in the face of a constant on-slaught of chaos.

I only go here if someone else is buying and they’re addicted to Starbucks so they won’t go to Tully’s…or it’s «take a co-worker for a walk day» and I’m tagging along to get out of the office. I’m a good boy with very little bark, so no leash or muzzle required. This Starbucks location is convenient given it’s located at the bottom of the building where I work. In the morning, you will frequently see a long line that extends out the door(there’s not really a door, but you know what I mean). The long line does not deter others from getting in line to get their fix. One, they need to get their fix… Two, the customer service is pretty good and fairly speedy. Notes: Starbucks doesn’t offer shakes(Tully’s does)…the closest thing is a frappuccino which is not close enough. Also, their donuts are way too small for the cost. On a positive note, their Mocha and Caramel Apple Spice are good.

Ok Starbucks in Union Square is a very busy place during the week. All those lawyers, financial analysts and directors need their coffee! I, none of the above, need some too. I have come here many mornings and without fail, every time, the line is out the store. I am tempted to turn around but then my caffeine-deprived body starts to miss its high and I get in line. I have never waited longer than five minutes for my coffee here. The staff here handles the crowd with such ease. Sometimes, when they come up to me, I haven’t even decided what I wanted yet because they’re so quick! Coffee and food tastes good too and afternoons tend to calm down. I am a happy coffee-guzzler here!

Ever imagined what the stock market trading floor would look like if the entire trade was in coffee beans? The answer is just like this. Baristas roaming the floors with pads, orders shouted and thrown about, people standing in droves waving arms. It’s chaotic, but it’s still fun, good, and reasonably enjoyable. My one gripe is ordering ahead of time. We’ve ordered several coffee ‘travelers’ several times, and they are almost never ready when we get there(and we order them for 20 minutes before we arrive. I’ve even called the day before to confirm they would be ready and no… nothing. I’m sure it’s busy as all get out there, but you really need to hold hands if you’re going to get a bulk order ready in time.

I felt really bad for the barista behind the counter. On Christmas Day, he just kept looking towards the door and at the line with this forlorn look on his face, like«Oh GOD, when will it end???» Poor guy.

People! dash in, out, in, out! When do they stop? Where do they go? How much is. I don’t knwo what I want… This nice place, a hole in a wall, filled with quick-moving business minded people! The baristas were friendly to me, just another, in a quick in and out. Professional smile, answered a question and helpign move the line along. I may or may not be back,(it was a short term job I had), but again, first class Starbucks service. Thanks, team.

So, like, I don’t really go to Starbucks unless I have a gift card, but, you know, the employees are nice, the drinks are predictable, the music/décor(«ambience») is like an adult contemporary tranquilizer, etc., so it’s okay. Anyway, I went in here this past Tuesday and the guy behind me ordered, verbatim: a «veinte Americano in a tall cup with an inch of room.» And the guy behind the counter was like«okay!» and then they went ahead and rung him up for a veinte Americano. Now tell me: how does one fit a 20 ounce drink into a 12 ounce cup and still have room for cream? Am I crazy? Starbucks is like a different coffee universe sometimes.

OK, I hate to draw any more attention to Buck o’ Stars, and whenever I get a latte from a different coffee shop I’m always like«Man, Starbucks sucks!» BUT I go to this location at least once a week(convenience factor) and I feel compelled to mention a few things: – The employees are INCREDIBLY nice, and unless new, also incredibly efficient. – The Reduced Fat Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake is one of my favorite foods in the history of the world. – If you register(and re-load) your gift card, you get little perks like free syrup flavors.
