This store is beautiful! My boyfriend and I came in over the weekend and we purchased a really cool, large copper cross that looks really mid century modern. Susan was really sweet and gave us a little story on how she acquired it. I especially love the layout, it’s curated impeccably and there is a color story throughout which I really enjoyed. We look forward to coming back here.

Okay, you know all that stuff in Ballard Designs? Its new, but they make traditional home furnishings inspired by great vintage pieces. Well this store must be their inspiration. Because while almost everything here is truly vintage, it feels like you could take it home and put it right to use, particularly if you are inspired by the cottage meets vintage vibe. Well curated, well stocked, and put together with a great eye, this is a nice buttoned up and traditional juxtaposition to the more modern, industrial, dust-bowl sideshow inspired Kirk Albert next door. What a fun place to walk around, browse and get inspired! In particular, they have great mirrors and unique ornate frames here, that are in really excellent condition. Why buy new, when you can buy something with history and real character to enhance your living space?

I stopped by the store while waiting for a friend for dinner. I was in heaven! She has an amazing collection of vintage items and a few new pieces. If you are looking for some unique pieces to take your home décor to the next level, this is a great place to start. She also has a ton of jewelry — both eclectic new pieces and vintage pieces. I found her jewelry a bit on the high side. But I’d still come back again when I have more time!

Awesome store! Inspiring vignettes, wonderfully curated selection of antiques and home accessories. This place is amazing! Don’t miss the private label home fragrance candle of her very own making, it smells delicious. In addition to antiques and furniture, there is a fantastic, well-priced selection of vintage and new jewelry. I took home some really delightful pieces from local and national jewelers. Loved this store, can’t wait to go back on my next visit to Seattle.

I try to stop in once a month or so to see what the enviable collection contains. It’s like being in a french country dream, or you got lost in a friend’s château and you’re digging about in her linen and silverware drawers for treasures. The owner has always been welcoming; she’s always burning a fragrant candle and playing ecletic music. A hallmark of french country style is ‘patina,’ and her collection hits a home run. Vintage stoneware, french linens, elegant furniture, antique leatherbound books, and old glass bottles are all here, arranged beautifully. Generally speaking, I cannot afford to shop here. I can only afford to be ‘inspired,’ and spread the word about this place, so that’s not all bad is it?

Totally unique stuff, and while certainly not priced for the bargain hunter, the items she stocks are carefully hand curated and seem to be priced appropriately for their condition and rarity. In addition to home goods, she has a variety of antique costume jewelry that actually doesn’t look cheap. Lots of things to look at, which can be overwhelming when you first walk in and don’t see a lot of empty space, but it also makes it a totally pleasant place to stop in and look around for an hour. She stocks a variety of styles of vintage items, too, so I’m pretty sure that anyone can find something that would suit their décor if they just stopped and looked.

Watch a wonderful additon to Georgetown’s rising furniture — decorating scene, and a perfect compliment to the outstanding«Great Stuff» next store. In fact these two shops have created a destination opportunity for an hour of two of inspiration and wonderment. From neon signs to subway signs, troubled, distressed and salvaged furniture turned into art, and clever bric-à-brac, Susan has a knack for finding all things interesting. I was drawn to original an deco era sign lit by orange neon. Bright red moderne bar stools compete with a weathered old chair with three old coats of paint exposed and cracking. The whole business, from floor to seeing is a calvacade of eye grabbing interest. And Susan and her daughter are both gracious and fun. Great spot!

There is a lot to be said for knowing how to find cool shit and make it work, but she’s got it wired. This is the place you should go to make sure that your place does NOT look like a cookie cutter, Pottery Barn advertisement. Be interesting, be creative, be different, add something cool to your place… Go now, GO!
