I don’t usually get aggravated and very rarely do I encounter horrible customer service to the point of being insulted and accused as a liar.
I had an arrangement with my BOSS to standby in order to process the payment for a printing service over the phone, one that I sent over. I called Swifty immediately after I sent the order email and was told they would respond shortly, five minutes to be exact. Forty five minutes goes by and I am told they didn’t receive the email and so much time was wasted because proper protocols weren’t made. On top of that, when I tried to point out the injustice for failing to acknowledge my sending, I was told to take my business somewhere else. I have proof!
How about checking your email the first time I call to ensure that you received it and then further stating you would need time to quote?
How about just accepting there was a conflict in items being sent and acknowledging that both sides were having difficulty sending and receiving the emails? I mean COME ON, I’m looking at my sent receipt with a time stamp!!!
Ben was not only rude, but slow and reluctant to resolve the issue. I would’ve been a customer that would have been fully supportive to a business when given the chance. I felt constantly shut down and at a state of shock at how I was treated.
I’m sure this place offers many positives for many customers, but I happened to be one that felt unresolved and broken spirited, which surprisingly hurts a lot.

Lost Art of Customer Service Found!
Swifty Printing is by far my favorite printer to work with in Seattle. I have been a graphic designer for the last 10 years and have never met a more humble and customer oriented printer. My work has very tight turn around times and hot projects that come up monthly and I know that I can count on George and his team to support us. I’ve had the privilege to work with Swifty over the past 4 years. Even if there has ever been a printing mistake George ensures to make it right, not shifting blame or making excuses (even when the fault lay with me). Not only are they incredibly fast but they are very caring people, even up to delivery of our projects. My team and I always look forward to seeing their delivery driver Dan! Thank you Swifty for all the years of service and for your great heart! If you are in need of a reliable and fast service, these guys live up to their name to a T.

I’m writing this review because the firm I work for does quite a bit of business with George and co. But I’m not writing this in any official capacity, just from my interaction with them as the point person for handling these types of tasks.
These guys are great! They handle highly sensitive information and photos with discretion. We’ve used them to produce trial exhibits, plenty of color photos for use as attachments, and to turn around larger printing projects that we can’t do in house.
They always have a quick turnaround time for us, and are able to meet our needs quickly and at a great price. Often, they’ll have a project that was dropped off at 4:50 p.m. ready for us by 10 a.m. the next day.
It’s always a pleasant experience going over there, and they are always friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend them; they’re fantastic!

These guys are great. I designed a brochure for a local festival and they did a wonderful job. They quoted us at almost $ 2,000 less than some of the other local printers, and they were able to accommodate the not-​as-​common size of the brochure, which I really appreciated. They did a turnaround of 7,500 brochures (with no rush fees) in 48 hours, which was incredible!
They were also very patient with me as I explained to them that I was a little wigged out to do such a large order and to be the only one proofing. They didn’t complain when I had to send them 3 different versions of the brochure while I literally adjusted things by 10 pixels or less. (I’m a perfectionist, I know this!) But I just wanted to note their understanding and good attitude, as it’s sometimes hard to come by.
Look forward to working with them in the future!

Bad service, bad information, to helpful. Going elsewhere.

I highly recommend Swifty! I use them for 1 – 10 business projects every month. Tons of marketing collateral, flyers, brochures, banners, stationary, envelopes, etc. They always beat competitors prices (by a mile), and live up to their name. I am sometimes thrown off guard by how fast they are! I email them an order and next thing I know the order shows up at the door.
They are always helpful when I need design assistance, and the quality of their work couldn’t be better. I usually deal with Ben, who is extremely helpful and so nice!
I’ve had such a good experience with them on business projects I decided to have them print save-​the-​date cards for my own wedding. And once again, blown away!

Update to my earlier review, and it’s a positive one. I had a somewhat larger job this time. The basic owner manual for our motorhome has 450 pages. I wanted the manual disassembled, scanned to a PDF file, and a copy printed. I was quoted a per-​page price for the scanning and the printing. The total came to more than I was willing to pay. The gentleman at the counter quoted a more agreeable price, if I was willing to have it printed during the upcoming weekend, when business was slower. The total price was $ 113, plus tax. Considering the labor involved in taking apart the large, spiral-​bound manual, scanning to a file, and printing, I felt that was a very fair price.
The manual was ready on Monday, as promised. My only difficulty was determining which manual was the original. I finally remembered that the original’s cover had been bent once. That’s how I identified the original — by flexing the cover. I hadn’t expected that the cover would be printed in high-​resolution color. Otherwise, it was very difficult to tell original from copy.
These people are great!

Don’t ever go in there and ask them innocuous questions about their political activities. They might commit false imprisionment of you and illegally hold you there while they call the police. Just ask Dominic from The Stranger.

I’ve only printed posters with Swifty before, so I can’t comment on the negative reviews for business card printing services.
But I know that for posters, these guys are fabulous. Today, I had a 24×36″ poster printed, trimmed, mounted on foam core, and delivered for free to our office (Belltown) in under 90 minutes. They didn’t even break a sweat. And the quality is beautiful.

Recently came across this little gem. These guys know what they are doing, and will go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you want.

I love Swifty Printing. Today is the second time I have used them in the last 3 months. George remembered me when I walked in, remembered the job – which was a small run of a brochure. He gave me a great price, was super nice, and turned it all around in under 24 hours. Customer service like this is rare. I would use Swifty again over any of the big name print companies.

My company put me on a mission to make a sign. So I google mapped places that were near my company. Swifty Printing so happened to be close by so I decided to give them a visit to see what they were able to do for me.
The owner of the print shop was really friendly and they were able to help me with making a sign right away. They were able to get the material I wanted as well as make the sign crisp and clean. They also were able to make the sign in one day, which was pretty surprising to me since the sign I had to get was pretty huge. Overall customer service was two thumbs up. The only thing was that their prices were a little overpriced. So if you don’t wanna spend too much on prints then this might not be the right store for you. But if price doesn’t matter and quality matters then you have found the right place!

I travelled to Seattle by train to attend the Casual Connect event. On the train, I realised I’d stupidly forgottten my biz cards. I checked Unilocal and thought I’d call to see if they could provide an on the spot service.
I called and was given a $ 300 quote to do an on the spot job. I declined. I could hear the opportunistic tone of the person on the phone, and knew from experience that he was not a person that I could do business with.
I called Office Depot and took a leap of faith. I caught a taxi from Seattle station to 4^th and Pike, where I was served promptly and a business card was made from scratch, with just a logo from Word — in 30 mins!!!
For temporary replacement cards all the people I told the story to at the Casual Connect, were impressed with the card stock, design and actual cut and print quality. Because I rushed poor Andrei, he wanted to make it better, but I was really happy with his thoughtfully designed and laid-​out design.
The cost at Office Depot: $ 25. Best value, great service, great client attittude.
Swiftly — please treat customers as if they have been doing business with printers for 20 years, and don’t put a rush charge on it unnecessarily… it just makes people bitter.

Dealing with the brothers that run this place is great. They seem so damn happy to be in the printing business, offer great prices and really seem to care about their customers.
When you enter their store, it looks like they are either about to go out of business or have just moved there. It’s neither. They’re just really messy. I like to think that they’re too busy helping customers to clean up after themselves.

Every year, our firm sends out holiday cards to clients. Rather than pick and choose from the plethora of expensive, generic corporate (lame) holiday cards available, my boss is privy on sending out custom designed cards bearing our brand. For the past couple years, I have been tasked with designing them in-​house.
Originally the plan was to print them in-​house, but with a job of this magnitude and a looming deadline, I had to outsource the printing. So with a CD-​R containing the .EPS files, I sought the services of George at Swifty Printing.
I needed 1200 full color front and back cards, printed, trimmed and folded in half. George was accommodating in the fact that we would be supplying our own paper which was purchased at Paper Zone beforehand. Gave me a quote which was well under budget and told me to come back tomorrow for a press check. Awesome!
Press check was perfect, the color was spot-​on and looked amazing considering they came off a digital press. A couple of days later I came back to pick up the job: 1200 cards printed, trimmed, folded, shrink wrapped and bundled in one box. Stuffing them into envelopes on the other hand still needs to be done in house however. Thank God for interns!
My dealings with George and Swifty Printing couldn’t have been any better. George is a real stand-​up guy and looks out for all his customers, big and small. If you need a print job, take it to George!
