Really bad tacos and I do not even think it is cheap. The frozen fish taco was awful.

It’s cheap! Food is reasonably good and fresh(ask for extra salsa or grab some Cholula or Chipotle Tabasco for more flavor) Service is fast and pretty friendly and it’s convenient

It’s not the size of their portions which are excellent, it’s not the cleanliness of their restaurant as it’s good as any Subway or Jack In The Box, it’s the lack of taste! I’ve made a promise to myself that I can never eat this food again. It fills me up but leaves me empty in my spirit. Bland and tasteless… and I thought I would never utter these words but I sincerely like Taco Time better. I’ve eaten at Taco Del Mar at 2 different locations and I will say that they are consistent… consistently boring and bland.

Meh. Not too good, not too shabby either. I had a Mondo Chicken burrito. Wasn’t bad. You can always try it once. But its not something you will crave to come back later.

hardly any meat in my chicken taco. for $ 5.50, you would think they can afford to put the amount of meat they put in tacos at all other TDM locations.

Nothing fancy just a belly filler Mondo Spinach Burrito and Coke. Good people and good food. They are fast too!

It’s mexicanish and quick and priced reasonably. I have no complaints and feel they live up to expectations well.

The guys here are so nice and give great service(which is why they get 2 stars and not 1), but the food here is disgusting. I work nearby so I always go here thinking, «Okay, maybe this time it’ll be better.» And it never is. The meat is so flavorless. You try to add in stuff to make it taste better and have more flavor, but by the time you add sour cream, plus this and that, your $ 5.99 burrito is now $ 10. Taco Del Mar, please improve!

I really don’t think that Taco Del Mar deserves as much vitriol as it receives. Yes, it’s a fast good joint(somewhere between Chipotle and Taco Bell), but you’re basically handshaking with that once you walk through the door. As fast food places go, it really isn’t that bad and the prices are more than fair. They also list calorie ranges with each item on the menu just for the health conscious. The restaurant itself appears to be clean with decent choices for seating and while it’s poorly lit and a little sad looking(mostly on account of its emptiness and sad tiki themed table over in the corner), the staff more than makes up for that by being awesome and fast at making your taco while you wait. I typically go for the two baja pork tacos on corn tortillas with guac. Sure, the guac is just alright — a little sour — and doesn’t appear to be fresh, but it gets the job done and adds the right amount of fatty flavor to any taco. The corn tortillas are steamed, doubled up(so they don’t rip open as you’re feasting), and taste as described(corn-y, but not truly authentic, which, again, is par and expected). The pork is fatty and delicious and strikes the right balance between«fast food» Mexican and«real ingredient» Mexican… Overall, the meal is just shitty enough and just good enough to be great in a humble way that simultaneously satisfies and reminds you of being in college.

Vegetarian burrito was alright, just beans, cheese, rice and sauce. Compared to any restaurant within a 5 min walking distance, this place is not very vegetarian friendly.

food was pretty good but they don’t offer much choices in their menu. The place was pretty small but was very nice inside with all the surf pictures and very clean. The guy working there that night was pretty cool~!!!

I am a big fan of the taco salad for lunch, black beans and pork, with a few jalapenos on top. The breakfast quesadillas with sausage is good too. They do tend to rush too much at lunch.

It’s not bad, but the food is pretty uninspired. Just the bare minimum — shredded lettuce, tomato, protein, etc. It’s cheap fast food, so basically like a Taco Bell or something like that.

Rice, Beans and Cheese made 100 different ways. Cheap food, fast and that all I have to say about it. You get what you pay for.

Out of the 4 or 5TDM’s I’ve been to in Seattle, this one is by far the worst. The food is about average with the others, but the staff(aside from the woman) is really, really bad. Over the last 6 months or so, the burrito’s have gotten worse and worse. Not the actual food, but the ROLLING. This should be the easy part. It’s insane. Everyone there basically folds the tortilla in half then just presses the tin foil hard enough to keep it in place. Its gotten to the point that they’re almost inedible. I’ve started going to Chipotle instead of this reason alone.

Taco del Mar locations are pretty hit-or-miss. This is one of the misses. Inattentive staff who seem constantly stoned, dried-out fish tacos that they still manage to run short on, and a general vibe of «who gives a shit?» Neither fast nor food.

Taco Del Mar is a decent American-Mexican food chain. Quality wise, they’re in between Taco Bell and Qdoba, though leaning more towards the Qdoba side. There $ 5 burritos are a decent value, and probably adequate enough for lunch or dinner. This particular location I stopped in for breakfast. My bus drops off in front and their open at 8am for breakfast advertisement caught my eye. They have a few breakfast options, burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. The burrito is $ 3.25 or $ 3.75 with sausage which is what I opted for. In addition to the meat, it had eggs, beans, cheese, tomatoes and hashbrowns. IT was a decent size for breakfast, though a bit messy to eat. That’s probably my fault though, despite the posted instructions to slowly peel away the aluminium foil wrapper, I usually just take the whole thing out.

I love coming to this Taco Del Mar. Sure the food is the same as pretty much any other Taco Del Mar, but the people who work here are ridiculously friendly and so welcoming! I actually like to come here when I am having a bad day, because their kindness makes me smile, and they always treat me like I’m their most valued customer(and I maybe visit once every other month!) I really appreciate that. The food is delicious and fresh too, and there are some pretty good options, especially the daily specials. Not the cheapest fast food, but worth it. I’m glad to have this as an option when I forget to bring my lunch.
