During the busy holiday season, I was planning to shipped several packages out of state and headed for the US Postal Office but saw the long line. Across the street, I saw the «Mailbox»
and went over. I was so happy as there was only one person in line. The owner, Dan, is super customer service oriented and he was able to show me the difference in shipping UPS vs USPS. I was surprised to learn that one state was really the same in cost but the other package to the East Coast was significantly less.
This is my place that I come to for all my shipping needs!

The people that work here are unbelievably helpful.
They are super nice.
They are unbelievably knowledgeable.
And their prices are excellent.
I don’t know why I would bother going anywhere else to ship things out.
This is just a good local business who still cares about terrific customer service.

How I love this place! Customer service A+++. I love the owner Dan, as does my 5 year old son… Dan always lets him play with a car or truck while I ship packages. Jessica is also so nice and helpful — everyone is that works there

They were friendly and helped me quickly. He even weighed my letter although I was mailing it through the usps bluebox. Convenient services for those of us in the stone ages without a scanner or fax machine… and they notarized. I’ll be back!

Needed to get a small chandelier we bought at Acorn Floral to my mother-​in-​law in Spokane, by Christmas. For one reason or another we didn’t get around to mailing it until the 22nd. (It was too big to take in our carry-​on and we weren’t so sure about checking it through.) Came to the Mailbox Saturday morning. I was expecting to have to do a fair amount of the work myself, but I really only needed to unscrew what could be unscrewed, for better packability, give him the address, Express Mail postage and about $ 10 extra, and he took care of everything: box, packing, packaging. Arrived on time, safe and sound. Really – when you just don’t have the time yourself, $ 10 for box, packing, and packaging is a steal. Will definitely use them again.

I had 3 tasks to take care of today. USPS (directly across the street) could not help me with any of them (all involving mail). Confusing, right? The USPS employee sent me over to The Mailbox, where I was happily greeted and immediately helped with all 3 things. It was confusing, actually… but needless to say, I’ll be going to The Mailbox from now on. It was such a pleasant experience! I’m SO GLAD that USPS sent me there!

Dan and team are truly the best. This place is more like family than any other business I frequent in Seattle. I’ve stopped in just to say hello! The staff somehow manage to remember your name! Love that. Great job guys — 10 stars.

Didn’t get to the post office before they closed with a flat-​rate Priority box so went to these guys. Charged about $ 2.50 more for the box than USPS (their extra take I suppose). When guy behind counter entered the zip code on the label it came up a different city. So I read it back to him as written and he says «yeah that’s what I put in». I wrongly assume he knows what he is doing, and the city coming up was how post office states it, & just say send it. Turns out he entered the zip wrong, then didn’t catch his own mistake once given the opportunity. My nephew’s birthday present got to him 2 days late instead of 2 days early. THESE GUYS SUCK!!!

Dan and his crew, including his little white dog FOX who has mellowed with age are great to work with. They really care. They package things and mail them all over the world and have a great mail box business. Dan was raised in Magnolia and is personable and makes sure that his staff keeps a smile on their face and pack a box for all kinds of handling on its way. a+

These guys are great, they stand by their packing and are happy to take care of any situation that involves the receipt of damaged goods. Just call them, they are happy to help! I have been going here for years and do my best to avoid FedEx or UPS stores as I have found them to be not as careful or personal. The owner is pleasant and always has something funny or interesting to say; his employees are helpful and polite. I trust the Mailbox and would not go anywhere else.
