The Pujari Center Dr. Astrid Pujari applies her knowledge in both Western and Complementary/Alternative medical systems to your ailments, be they spiritual, physical, and/or mental. Her integrative approach combined with her profound intuition I found to be healing and directly useful. My initial visit required that I submit an extensive health history, but Dr. Pujari actually READ the history before my visit, took notes, and had suggestions at the ready before I even showed up at the door. Dr. Pujari’s initial consult with me lasted for about two hours — a first of such length — and she sent me off with a reading list — also a first in my interface with the world of medicine. I received a typed description of our visit(as well as proscriptive suggestions) in the mail as well as a thank you card and a gift certificate for a massage. Call this savvy marketing or call this profound courtesy and compassion, your decision. I attended Dr. Pujari’s lecture at the Central Library a few months later. This is a doctor who walks her talk. Her agenda of a spiritually integrated medicine honored listeners with an active Q/A section and Dr. Pujari deftly and graciously handled all ranges of ideology — those quasi-engineers of Quantum-Mechanics to her patients undergoing chemotherapy at Virgina Mason. Dr. Pujari was voted one of America’s «best doctors» in 2003 – 2004. I wouldn’t be surprised were she to also be elevated to sainthood.
