Get the donuts while you can! I get there early so they aren’t out of my favorites but you can always enjoy a maple bar. I don’t care too much for the coffee but that has never stopped me from coming back. This place is usually good for meeting friends but it depends on how many soccer moms are there.

Ok… so I truly love Caffe Fiore… the atmosphere, the people who work there and the general vibe of their Brand… it’s all so great! Recently they upped their prices. I bought two 16 ounce Green Chai’s with almond milk and it cost almost $ 13. The good out the price increase was that I decided to buy my own milk steamer and buy Morning Glory Green Chai directly and make my own. I’m not sure if this is the end result they are looking for with their price increases.

Good coffee and donuts, but my experience is slightly skewed since I have only visited in the afternoon. Morning right out of the kitchen donut may be(and probably is) better, but afternoon was still good. Had the chocolate«Go Hawks», very tasty. But really what I liked best was the friendly staff — super nice and sociable.

Love this Top Pot and go there regularly. The old-fashioned donuts are truly excellent, and what I mostly order. Second favorites are the cake donuts, also great. I’m underwhelmed by the regular glazed donuts, but they are okay. I don’t love having a sugar-bomb breakfast and prefer to stop by for an afternoon snack, but unfortunately, they are often out of many types of flavors by then. Great that they bake fresh daily, but a bummer for those of us who want an afternoon treat.

Was running late to a meeting this morning. The friendly staff at Top Pot quickly put together a box of donuts and a big thing of coffee for me from a phone order. They quickly checked me out when I arrived. They genuinely seemed happy to help. Great service from the two ladies working this morning.

The doughnuts I got(Bavarian cream and the old fashioned glazed) were pretty good in the afternoon when I visited for the first time. Moisture levels good and the amount of chocolate on the Bavarian cream doughnut was pretty thick and yummy. The area upstairs for studying was nice, as volume level was appropriate. A little expensive, as expected, however.

I’d been to Top Pot a couple of years ago when in Seattle and wanted to give them another try. The woman working behind the counter at this location was super friendly, and gave great recommendations. There wasn’t a huge selection of donuts, but they were good and tasty. If you’re not taking it to go, they give you actual dishes to eat them on which is a nice touch. They’re a little pricey, for donuts, but we enjoyed them and the very friendly lady working that day.

Fun nice environment. Doughnuts were unique but not that fresh. Service with a smile. Enjoyable enough.

Huh. You know, I don’t often go against the Unilocaly grain, but I didn’t have the experience(with regard to food) here at Top Pot Doughnuts that I expected having read some Unilocal reviews ahead of time. I love doughnuts, but didn’t think these were all that great with respect to quality or variety. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? TPD has without question a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the sever behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer. I’m actually a bit surprised at how little floor space is dedicated to showing customers doughnuts, but I liked the ‘tagged’ approach to pricing and the trendy display. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $ 1.99 for a very standard glazed cake doughnut isn’t exactly cheap(my favorite shop back in California has larger donuts for cheaper prices ) but I didn’t find it unreasonable. There are essentially four tiers of pricing, and I didn’t feel like any of them were taking advantage of the fact that donuts in Seattle aren’t as common as you might think. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? You know? I just honestly wasn’t a fan. My benchmark for any doughnut shop is their standard glazed, and as you can see in the picture, there wasn’t a whole lot of glaze to speak of on Top Pot’s glazed cake doughnut. I was thrown a bit by the fact that the glaze was still«wet» as opposed to settled and more firm, but I could have quickly gotten over that if I were blown away by the taste. I wasn’t, and this might have well just been a standard cake doughnut with not too much flavor to speak of besides the taste of whatever it was fried in. Maybe I ordered wrong? My buddy got a chocolate cream filled cake that he said was okay, but all in all I was a bit let down by the experience as a whole. No Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? While I don’t know, my suspicion is that there are much better doughnut shops in Seattle, and I’d be hard pressed to recommend Top Pot when you’ve got an ice cream shop next store. No Star Granted.

Hype with a side of dry and a too dense dough chaser. I’ve wanted to like these donuts since they’re right by my house, but I can’t. I know what a real donut is, what a dunkin donut is, what a bad supermarket donut is, and even what a fair donut is. These, these are something that is their own beast, they’re too heavy, dense, not soft at all, the fillings are too sweet and they harden the moment air touches them. I like pillowy soft, not too sweet, balanced filling in my donuts, I’m a mid west girl so I know a good thing when I taste it. Unfortunately I’m left flat, really wishing they tasted better, and curious how so many people believe that is the best donut offered in the city. Won’t even mention the hipster staff who meh and uh when you ask a question. Teens I would understand, twenty something’s I could understand, but thirty something’s working at a donut shop acting like that, kinda a big turn off for patroning a business.

Bleh. I am a donut girl. So much so, in fact, that in lieu of a traditional wedding cake Chef Fiancé and I are having Blue Star Donuts of Portland, OR create a tower of their incredibly perfect donuts to share with our guests on the Big Day. Would we have loved to have given that business to the shop three blocks from home? Ab-so-lutely! Unfortunately, there just isn’t anything to like about these donuts. Too dense. Too sweet. Uninspired flavors. They’re really just barely improved supermarket donuts and carry a premium price tag. Will it do in a pinch to satisfy the urge? Sure. But that is the extent of the Top Pot magic.

Top Pot is so hyped up! Nothing special about the donuts, they’re just regular donuts. I prefer Krispy Kreme — soft and pillowy, or do-rite donuts in Chicago.

You can buy these donuts cheaper at QFC, and get better customer service. I see no reason to pay double and also buy a tepid badly made coffee to accompany it. However, if you like your morning donuts served with condescension and boredom, then this is your place.

A go-to on Queen Anne as it is right next to my family’s house. It’s always been pretty laid-back and quiet when I’ve come in, which is nice. I have tried a variety of the donuts, mainly the cake ones, and they have always been good. I have been to some other donut places with more of a variety of crazy donuts, which can be cool, but sometimes you just want some good old classics. I haven’t really had much of the coffee beverages or anything here so I can’t speak for those, but the donuts are solid and tasty and I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

We ended up here by looking for a donut place in Queen Anne. We picked up a few donuts for take out, although the place is so warm and inviting that we opted to eat a donut there. The variety of donuts was good, we were just hoping for a few more choices. The choices we did opt for were delicious. Vey friendly staff, we will be back.

I ended up here after deciding the place I was going to meet my friend at was too busy. This ended up being a great space to meet for the afternoon. It was well lit, comfortable and we were able to talk with ought worrying we would be bothering anybody. My mocha was great. The staff was great. It’s a doughnut shop, but I’m not a fan of the doughnuts in general, but my friend ordered the applesauce doughnut and it was good. Parking can be a challenge at times, but if you don’t mind a little bit of a walk it’s not bad. I will definitely come back for the coffee and the atmosphere.

This is one of those over-hyped Unilocal places in my opinion. I got the maple glazed bar and while it was good, it wasn’t as good as the donuts that I get back home at my favorite mom and pop shop. My girlfriend got some sea salt caramel donut and that wasn’t all that special either. This is probably one of those places that you come once, and you probably won’t be back.

The last 2 times I’ve come to this location, in the morning even, the selection of donuts was scarce and the donut I chose seemed like it had been around awhile. Today the service wasn’t very good, either. The guy working the counter was unfriendly at best, seemed like he’d rather be just about anywhere else than there, but he was just probably having a bad day. Must be hard selling donuts to people when there are hardly any donuts there to sell. Anyway, today was my last time there.

One of my absolute favorite places to get a doughnut in all of the Seattle area. They have a huge selection of doughnuts and the doughnuts themselves are quite huge but at a moderate price. The doughnuts have a great texture and the frosting is always tasty and never overpowering. You can get any doughnut off the menu and not go wrong. I have always encountered friendly staff at this particular location and the store is always nice and clean.
